1 Chapter 1 - "I dont love you anymore"

[I didnt proof-read the chapters so if they have mistakes, please point them out :)]

Ms Emily Chloe. A physics teacher known by every student in Silver Creek high school. Her classes have some of the best academic performance each year with a number of total fails that could only be counted by 1 hand. She has been teaching in this establishment for only 3 years but her name has already spread to the higher-ups who praise her performance. But that has come with a cost. That cost was her reputation with the students.

Due to her zero-nonsense attitude, she wasn't exactly the most friendly teacher around. Most of the teachers were quite friendly with the students and would joke around with them, but not Emily. She has never talked to anyone in the school, whether it be a teacher or a student about her personal life. The only time she uttered a word would be for academic-related stuff. Some of the students tried joking with her only to be met by a loud silence.

"Good afternoon students, today we'll be starting a new chapter…"

An hour passed and the bell rang signalling the end of the day. Emily went upstairs to the physics department and opened the door. When she opened the door, a total of three teachers were inside, typing away and talking to each other. Hearing the door open, they all turned around and looked at her before resuming whatever they were doing. Emily set her bag down, turned her laptop on which had the default background, and started typing away. For the next 20 to 30 minutes, she planned out her class for the following week as it was already Friday. This isn't obligatory work but she did it anyway.

Emily was the last to leave the building and today, she had a date with her boyfriend. A man, the same age as her, had a well-built body, an angular face, and black hair. So she went to the park.

"Good Afternoon Alan, how are you?" She asked, with a slight smile upon her lips. They were not noticeable, but you could see them if you looked closely.

"I- I've been good and you." Alan stuttered slightly with a strained smile. He had sweat dripping down his cheeks.

Emily quickly caught on to these facts as the astute woman she was.

"Is everything okay, you look sick." She asked worryingly.

"Y.. Y-yeah, I'm fine."

"You don't look fine. It's okay if you go ho-"

"I DON'T LOVE YOU ANYMORE" Alan suddenly shouted. Luckily, nobody was at the park at the time.

"home and rest…"

Emily's eyes widened at the sudden realisation of what he said.

"What are you talking about" She stared at her boyfriend.

"I- I don't think this is working out anymore and there is also someone else I like." He replied with a slight stutter before gaining the confidence to continue

"So, you are breaking up with me after 4 years…"

A deafening silence rang out, almost akin to the one that would happen in her classroom. Alan couldn't respond to her.

"4 years of this bullsh-" She stopped herself before insulting him.

'Breath in, breath out…'

"I'm sor-"

"Don't."

"Just leave…" Emily's voice was sombre but still authoritative.

Alan tuck his tail between his legs and ran away

Tiny droplets of rain began pouring as Emily looked at the grey sky. Tears began falling from her cheeks as she reflected on what just happened. She had been in this relationship for the past 4 years. 4 years that had some difficulties but she loved him. He was the only person to who she was close too. He was both a friend and a lover to her, and all of that is now gone.

"Oh, Emily! It's been a while, how are yo-" A cheerful voice appeared out of nowhere and tried to talk to Emily before stopping abruptly.

"Are you okay?"
