17 The Mysterious Globe World

Li Mingze, his voice resonating with confidence, addressed the audience gathered at the illustrious Grand Pavilion.

"With this, it is finally starting." He thought before continuing to speak.

"I implore each and every one of you to lend me your help in solving the issues that have been plaguing this Globe World," he declared, his countenance serene and composed.

His words elicited a collective bewilderment from the audience, as they exchanged puzzled glances with one another.

The notion of people dwelling on this Globe World was utterly surprising to them, as it had never been brought to their attention before.

The enigma deepened as they considered the absence of any prior knowledge or acquaintance with Senior Li Mingze, a renowned powerhouse whose name was expected to have reverberated throughout the starry skies.

How could someone of his stature not be recognized far and wide in the vast expanse of the starry skies?

It was also impossible for this Globe World which exuded an enormous amount of pure World Energy managed to have stood hidden from them even to this day.

It was an unfathomable mystery to them.

Luo Yin's mind was filled with incredulity as he pondered Li Mingze's revelation.

"Previously, I harbored doubts regarding the possibility of him utilizing the Globe World as a concealed abode for solitary Cultivation. However, it is astonishing to fathom that an entire Civilization thrives within its confines." He wondered skeptically.

Mu Kongdong, not able to contain his astonishment, interjected with a probing question. "Are you implying that there exists a Civilization thriving on this Globe World?" he inquired, his curiosity piqued.

Li Mingze's response was succinct yet profound. "Indeed," he confirmed, his enigmatic aura adding to the air of mystery. He divulged little, leaving much to the imagination.

Mu Kongdong's thoughts raced as he muttered, "This is truly astounding. We have never encountered any signs of life beyond our own domain. To think that a part of the Human Civilization has managed to evade the ravages of war and find refuge in such an inconspicuous place." His awe was palpable, as he grappled with the profound implications of Li Mingze's revelation.

"Well, if that statement is indeed accurate," Luo Yin interjected, "then it seems evident that this task may exceed our capabilities to handle. Considering the immense amount of World Energy present on this Globe World, I believe the inhabitants here must be exceptionally formidable, much like yourself, esteemed senior."

Li Mingze responded with a serene countenance, "It's not that straightforward. The inhabitants of this Globe World are not the same as our people. They belong to a distinct species of Existence, a marvel of creation that is entirely divergent from our own."

Upon hearing this revelation, the expressions of everyone present became increasingly perplexed. They struggled to decipher the implications of the senior's words, unsure of how to interpret this enigmatic information.

Luo Yin inquired with a furrowed brow, "So, if I understand correctly, the inhabitants of this Globe World are not even human?"

Li Mingze's smile widened as he confirmed, "Indeed, you are absolutely right. They are not humans. It is something you would comprehend better once you witness them with your own eyes. But for the moment, I am curious to know if you are willing to accept this condition I have presented."

A hushed murmur spread across the assembled crowd in the Grand Pavilion as many exchanged meaningful glances, engaging in discreet deliberation over the weighty situation at hand.

Admiral Zhang Yu, who was seated next to Luo Yin, leaned in and whispered, "Your Excellency, what do you say? I don't think that it's the right thing to do, this is akin to becoming a rebel."

Luo Yin considered his words, acknowledging the gravity of the decision before them. "Indeed, it is a momentous choice, one that will reverberate throughout the annals of history and also determine our loyalty. But in my case, when was I loyal to the Empire to begin with? If not for the situations, I wouldn't be here. Perhaps, this is an opportunity for me but the more intriguing question is, why is he even willing to help us?" he mused silently.

Addressing Admiral Zhang Yu's concerns, He then spoke up, his voice steady and resolute. "For now, let's just oversee how it all goes, if not too unreasonable, accepting it is not out of the picture," He spoke with a serene smile, radiating confidence in his resolve.

Luo Yin thought as he smiled, "Although this person is suspicious, backing away from this offer is not something that I would want to do. Not when it's so favorable for the future of mankind."

Zhang Yu, displaying his loyalty, questioned, "I believe that Excellency comprehends the gravity of this decision and its potential to alter everything, then why are you not considering declining it?"

"Such loyalty towards the Empire, I would surely praise you for it in some other situation, but right now, you are in my way, Zhang Yu." Luo Yin regarded Zhang Yu for a moment, acknowledging his loyalty with admiration.

"Your loyalty is commendable," he said, "but milord, why don't you consider walking this path for once?"

"What do you mean?" Admiral Zhang was surprised from Admiral Luo's words. "Don't tell me... Is he rebelling?" He thought.

"Admiral Zhang, if my memory serves me right. You have a young daughter, don't you?" Luo Yin said as a grin adorned his countenance.

Hearing his words, Zhang Yu's expression turned precarious, "What is Excellency trying to imply? She has nothing to do with this." He asked.

"Nothing? To what extent?" Luo Yin said, "If I recall correctly, Your daughter admired you a lot, did she not?"

"What of it?" Zhang Yu asked in a serious tone.

"Well, think of it, milord, if the war continues and your daughter enters the warfare and ends up dying a miserable death in the sheer cold blackness of space with no knowledge of her whereabouts, how would you feel?" Luo Yin said maintaining his calm grin.

Upon listening to his words, Zhang Yu had his eyes wide open, it felt like the weight of heaven had fallen on his head. He stood silent saying nothing in deep contemplation.

"Just think of it," Luo Yin continued, "If now you make the choice to take this person's help and somehow end the War, wouldn't your daughter no longer have a reason to die a death as cruel as that."

Admiral Zhang didn't knew of what to say and stood silent in deep contemplation as the image of his daughter flashed in the back of his mind.

"That is right.... If the war is no more... She'll live a better life, not the treacherous life of a soldier.... But wouldn't this mean that I would be rebelling against my own country?" His thoughts were in a conflict as he considered the consequences of the choices available to him.
