14 Chapter 14
Ye Qi and Ziyun entered the passage. It was so dark that Ye Ziyun stayed closer.
Meanwhile, Ye Qi was examining this place with his <<Eyes of Present and Past>>.
"Stay close." After saying that, Ye Qi took two steps forward and put his hand on one brick on the wall.
Suddenly, inscription arrays appeared on the wall. The passage was lit up with light coming from the arrays, and they could see clearly.
"How did you do that?" Ye Ziyun looked at Ye Qi stunned.
"I'm genius, remember. Now. Follow my steps. There are traps around." Ye Qi said as he walked forward.
Nodding, Ye Ziyun lowered her head and followed behind him, until they were met with a wall.
Ye Qi again put his hand on some brick, and some mechanism was activated.
"Ye Qi. Were you a thief in your previous life?" Ye Ziyun asked innocently, as she saw Ye Qi having so much easy time with this.
Everyone here believed in the reincarnation cycle, so Ye Qi didn't feel suspicious from her question.
Ye Qi turned and looked at her face, with a deep frown. "How am I supposed to know. Were you a seer in your past life?"
"I was being sarcastic." Ye Ziyun lowered her head. Can't she just joke a bit with him? She was just a bit nervous while staying in such a closed place with him.
"So was I?" Ye Qi sighed.
Ye Ziyun just smiled, walked, and placed her hand on his back. With a nod, Ye Qi pressed other spots on the wall, and a door was opened.
Very soon, they found themselves in a large hall, a fancy one, with shelves and treasures placed around.
'Bingo,' Ye Qi thought as he saw a coffin-like in the middle of the room.
"You are amazing, Ye Qi." Ye Ziyun couldn't help but praise him. She believed that Ye Qi is really special. Probably reading so many books had taught him a lot.
"Now, pick up the treasures you like, but be careful. Don't go around the coffin."
Ye Qi said as he took few steps forward while looking around the room.
Ye Ziyun only nodded and went to the corner.
In this room, there were a lot of things, that's for sure.
"There are books here, do you want me to pick them up." Ye Ziyun asked since she knew that Ye Qi can understand those things.
Ye Qi only gave a nod.
He went to a specific spot and picked up what looked like a green lamp.
Ye Ziyun only smiled and looked around. the elder shouldn't be around. This means that she and he are all alone. Her cheeks started turning pink on this idea.
Ye Qi, meanwhile, looked at the lamp. This what contains a God growth-level Demon Spirit, the Shadow Devil demon spirit.
Ye Qi looked to its past; he found that a legend rank cultivator, with hard, used this lamp to seal a very strong Shadow Devil. Somehow, it wasn't only one Shadow Devil, but there are five other lamps, which should be disturbed around the world.
Shadow Devil was one of the fastest and the sneakiest assassination types of Demon Spirits.
After Ye Qi put the lamp in his storage ring, he looked in the direction of the tomb and activated his Time-Space Skill. Seeing the past isn't always pleasant. As he just sneaked a peek at the past, he felt a very strong pressure on his soul.
Ye Qi was seeing how things had been. In the middle of the room, there was an elder, drawing an inscription array with his finger around the tomb, before putting two things inside it. One is a remnant of paper, and the other is a necklace of a gemstone. The elder somehow put his intent within the tomb, which would test anyone who gets near them.
The elder started speaking as he put his hand on the tomb. "My name is Emperor Kong Ming, when I was 10 I reached the…."
Ye Qi heard the story life of the elder and frowned. The elder was talking about himself like he is the chosen one. This man was so cocky, that's for sure.
Looking at the tomb in the present now, Ye Qi knew that he would hear all of that again as the elder had put his intent there.
And then, there would be a barrier around Ye Qi that would attack each one that comes near to it.
Ye Qi looked at Ye Ziyun, who was innocently watching his back.
If Ye Qi isn't wrong, then in TDG she would be badly hurt because of that.
Knowing that he can't allow that to happen, Ye Qi said. "Ye Ziyun, no matter what, don't approach the barrier. You hear me."
"What barrier?" Ye Ziyun asked confused as Ye Qi walked and stood in front of the coffin.
"Be careful. You shouldn't look inside that." Ye Ziyun warned him. She didn't want Ye Qi to freak out when seeing a dead body. After all, the corpse would be too old, too stink, and too much to handle.
Ye Qi shook his head. He took few steps back, and then dashed, and opened the tomb as quick as possible.
Suddenly, an array was activated. A strong light wrapped Ye Qi and made his body float up. As the light wrapped him, Ye Qi felt pain from the depth of his soul and screamed.
"Ye Qi!" Ye Ziyun yelled as she was about to run, ignoring the barrier that formed around him.
"Hey, did you forget what I have told you?"
Ye Ziyun stopped all of a sudden when she saw Ye Qi next to her, his hand on her shoulder, squeezing gently.
Looking at his face with a horrified expression, she threw herself at him and gave him a strong hug.
"I thought you were trapped." She said, hugging him.
"There is a reason that I told you not to dash. Do you know that you almost died?" Ye Qi only put his hand on her waist and sighed.
Ye Qi, who was talking to Ye Ziyun, was still hearing the life story of Emperor Kong in his mind.
There was also strong energy that invaded his soul realm.
Ye Qi is sure that once he cultivates later, his soul force should at least multiply by x1.5.
"I didn't hear you well. You should have explained. It's no my fault." After she pulled back from his embrace, Ye Ziyun stared at his face, before she smashed his lips with hers. Ye Qi responded by kissing back while looking at the side.
Once the fluff was over, Ye Ziyun pulled back and looked around. There is no elder to watch, right.

"Let's pick these up before we leave." Ye Qi said. And then he went to the coffin as the barrier had vanished.
The remnant of the page and the blue necklace were placed next to each other
Ye Qi held them with his hands and nodded.
The remnant of the page went to his storage ring. That was a page from the Temporal Demon Book.
Meanwhile, while holding the necklace, Ye Qi felt that there was pressure on his soul force.
He looked at Ye Ziyun. So, this is the treasure that should multiply her cultivation speed some folds.
Ye Qi hadn't known why Nie Lie gave it to her.

One is for the one who should listen to the Emperors will. The others were treasure for hidden reasons. Probably, it was meant for a possible grandson or whatever. It didn't matter, since someone else would take it.
Ye Qi half-closed his eyes. The world they were at was called the Tiny World. It was created by a supreme expert for the sole reason of hiding powerful treasures from the Sage Emperor. There are a lot of things to discover and use.
"What are you thinking of?" Ye Ziyun spoke. "Or whom?" She said while looking at the necklace. Since she and Ye Qi had kissed, wouldn't be good to show his affection.
"You want this." Ye Qi lifted his hand, playing with the necklace and smiling.
"Well, I didn't ask you anyway. If you want to give it to another girl, so be it." Ye Ziyun half closed her eyes, gave her back at him, and snorted.
Ye Qi stared at her back and half-closed his eyes. It was elegant. Her hourglass shape gave more attention to her firm butt.
Ye Qi stood behind her and slapped her waist slightly.

Ye Qi then walked to the tomb, bent down, and placed his hand on a specific spot. Pulling back, a box appeared. Ye Ziyun turned and saw it. Ye Qi opened the box, and other two necklaces appeared.
"This is a treasure that should multiply one's speed three times. You can have one." Ye Qi said as he put one necklace on his neck.
"Wait. Really?" Ye Ziyun realised that she misunderstood him by thinking he's going to give it to another girl. Ye Qi clearly was thinking while she was feeling jealous. "But I can't accept such a thing."
"You can."
Ye Qi took one necklace and placed it on her neck. Looking at him, Ye Ziyun blushed in the process of him putting it on.
She held the gemstone with her hand and looked at it. "It's beautiful."
Ye Qi waved his hand and put the other necklace in his hand went to his storage ring.
Probably, once he reaches a higher level, he would be able to go to the mine and make more of this, in case he could make a bigger one. Depending on the past Ye Qi had seen, even the one who made this Necklace didn't know where the raw gemstone came from. But Ye Qi, who could see the past, knew.
But for now, he only needs one for himself.
As for the page, he decided that, later, he would see where it came from and what to do with it.

"We should move out." Ye Qi said, pointing up. "They will find this place."
Ye Ziyun, whose cheeks were still pink, nodded. The treasures Ye Qi found were so valuable. She understood that and she knows that others can turn self-righteous all of the sudden and use equality to share treasures.
Very soon, they went back using the hidden passage. They then took a turn and met with the group of students. While walking, Ye Qi was happy with the fluff he had gotten. Not only so, but he got a treasure that should increase his cultivation speed three times. Unlike Nie Lie, who wasted that chance, Ye Qi won't. Lanruo looked at Ye Qi, her eyes raised up.
Ye Qi didn't look like someone who had been chased by a Silver Rank Demon Beast. More likely, he looked to be walking with a carefree heart. He is probably happy that she is safe, right?
Lanruo, believing what she wanted to believe, opened her arms widely and ran forward. "Ye Qi!" She called and ignored Ye Ziyun, who flinched at her.

Ye Qi only pulled his head back, lifted his head, and stared at her.

However, Ye Qi nodded as he held her hand.
"I'm with her, for real." He said.
Shen Yue, who was standing at the side, opened his eyes widely, in defeat, as he had seen his marriage target and vengeance target holding hands together and nodding.
Lanruo's words stopped in her throat as she looked at the two. Since Ye Qi spoke, there is no point in arguing with her.
"It's not something new that a Noble like young masters Qi has a harem." She looked at Qi and said, her pink eyes on his. "Right?"
Those were their traditions.

Lanruo's pink lips drew a long smile. "Fine, brother Qi."
"Mm…" Nodding, Ye Qi turned to hide his boner and walked.
Ye Ziyun walked with Ye Qi and made a remark casually while looking at the sky.
"Don't raise your hopes. You're too old." She murmured.
"Who knows. I can provide him with things you can't." Lanruo said to Ye Ziyun and crossed her arms on her chest.
'Hey, Ziyun one later would become prettier.' Ye Qi sighed as he looked at Ye Ziyun, who got disturbed.
Qi was hiding his laugh. Seeing that Ye Ziyun was quite angry, he held her hand and asked her to kiss somewhere. She only nodded and went behind the tree, shamelessly kissing in front of one of her far uncles.
Ye Qi's tongue made her forget about the pinkie, and they made out. Why should she care about her anyway? Ye Qi gave her a treasure, while he didn't give it to the other.
Meanwhile, the group was looking at the treasures inside of the tomb.
They found some swords, weapons, scrolls, and cheap Demon Spirits.
These things would surely sell for a good price in the market.
When Ye Qi and Ziyun were done kissing, Chen Linjian came and handed a share of treasures. Ye Qi felt sorry for Linjian. The guy was too good for a young master.
But he and Ye Ziyun didn't refuse their share, since that would raise doubts.
And so, they turned to make their way back to the Glory City.
Since the trip would take longer than a day, the trip wouldn't be as calm as usual, since Lanruo and Ye Ziyun was glaring at each other from the side.
