Shen Yue looked towards the side and saw a purple haired teenage beauty looking at him. She had a puzzled expression and wrinkled thin eyebrows, her face expressing clear innocent worry.
Naturally, Shen Yue recognized her. Her name was Ye Ziyun. 'Holy crap, was Ye Ziyun always so beautiful and cute in this world? No wonder all those idiots in the novel obsess over her. No, scrap that. Ning Er is best girl.'

Upon seeing that, Shen Yue checked out the <Store> and saw a list of a variety of techniques and Nie Li's knowledge and experiences, and also various elixir recipes. As long as Shen Yue had enough System Points, he could learn it all.
The memories that Shen Yue gained would not be stolen from Nie Li, but simply copied. If Shen Yue manages to copy all of Nie Li's memories and if he kills Nie Li, then he would receive Nie Li's destiny of The One Favored by the Heavenly Dao. A Primary Inscriptionist Master level knowledge would cost 10 System Points and could be upgraded, with Nie Li's Complete Inscription Pattern Knowledge costing over 100 System Points in total.
It seemed that singular pieces of techniques in the store were all standardized at 1 System Point regardless of rarity or value, so Shen Yue saw that he would need to spend his points wisely. Although 1 System Point for an earth-shaking level technique didn't seem like much, there were thousands of different techniques on the list and, as Shen Yue thought about it, he would need tens of various techniques for all kinds of purposes and for other people if he wants to create an army.
Shen Yue could also buy out all of Nie Li's learned cultivation techniques in a package deal - it would be a lot more efficient than buying singular pieces of techniques, however, he would need to have a lot of System Points saved up to do it.
Shen Yue could also buy various Nie Li's abilities like soul force control, fighting experience, understanding of the dao, cultivation knowledge and others, all spread into 5 tiers: Beginner, Senior, Master, Grandmaster and Supreme, with Supreme meaning Nie Li's complete ability. Each tier cost a number of System Points depending on the difficulty and importance of the skill, and could be upgraded like statuses in a game.
The most basic use of the System Points was to freeze space-time, allowing Shen Yue to cultivate. 1 System Point allowed Shen Yue to cultivate for one hour. However, it seemed like a huge waste to use System Points on it compared to the other things that the Store offered.
There were also some cultivation boosts at the lower ranks which seemed to be a pity system.
Shen Yue then checked out the <Monthly rewards> tab.
He saw that he could get bonus System Points every month for having a good relationship with the Ye Ziyun the Heroine and for maxing out hate from Nie Li the Protagonist. A maximum of 10 System Points per month could be earned from Nie Li's hate, while 20 was the maximum reward from a good relationship with Ye Ziyun.
It specified that to max out 20 points from a relationship with Ye Ziyun, Shen Yue would need to be her close and dear lover, with Ye Ziyun having no interest in Nie Li. Meanwhile, being close-friends with Ye Ziyun, all while destroying her relationship with Nie Li, would also net points close to the limit.
Shen Yue was a bit taken aback after seeing all that. The system actually wanted him to take Ye Ziyun away from Nie Li for the most benefits.
Among the two options of laying low or antagonizing Nie Li, Shen Yue had already decided to go against Nie Li and try to become the new protagonist after he studied the system's rewards.
