After walking out of the gates of the Winged Dragon family mansion, Shen Yue let out a long sigh. It was still only the afternoon of the first day, but he already accomplished the most important things.

Shen Yue made a quick recall.

The things that he acquired from the store were:

- Memory of the novel.

- The Heavenly God Technique.

- The Daoyin Technique.

- Primary Alchemist Master knowledge + recipes.

- Cloud Paste.

In the end Shen Yue gained 22 System Points today and spent 14, ending up with 8 System Points. He now needed to increase his System Points to 10, as there was one thing that he really wanted to buy soon:

As a beginner Master Inscriptionist Shen Yue's inscription pattern knowledge would reach a great height when compared to ordinary people in Glory City. Although it would be vastly incomparable to Nie Li's full knowledge, it should be more than enough for any of Shen Yue's current needs.

At the same time, such a level of knowledge on inscription patterns should greatly help Shen Yue in grasping the Power of Law, though Shen Yue didn't yet have time to think about it much.

Another thing was that getting close to Ye Ziyun would allow Shen Yue to gain even more System Points!

Shen Yue also needed additional System Points for a few other buys.

Among them there was <Nie Li's life memories and general knowledge: Beginner (Tier 1/5)>, as the first part included general knowledge on all of the cultivation techniques that Nie Li learned.

Such a convenient memory pack must have been arranged by the system. After acquiring it Shen Yue would be able to somewhat choose the most suitable cultivation techniques for other people. Even though Shen Yue knew a lot about soul realm attributes and soul shapes, he only had the names of cultivation techniques in the store, so he absolutely needed to get it in the near future.

Shen Yue then needed even more points to buy knowledge on soul seals, soul shackles, better Alchemy knowledge or the Nine Transformation Pill formula, cultivation techniques for Xiao Ning Er, Ye Ziyun, Yang Xin, Huyan Lanruo, Ye Zong, Shen Xiu and then several of his minions.

Then there was also basic combat and soul force control skills which, although ordinary in comparison to Nie Li's full ability, would still be a huge boost to Shen Yue's strength.

In the near future Shen Yue would also need to max out his inscription pattern knowledge to free Goddess Yu Yan and to activate the teleportation array leading to the Abyss Prison realm.

Aside from that, there were also many other important pieces of knowledge and techniques that were in the store.

Shen Yue needed more System Points, so he only hoped that there would be some good opportunities to bash Nie Li soon!

After treating Xiao Ning Er, Shen Yue came back to the Holy Orchid Institute. The Winged Dragon family's estate was not far from the Institute, so it didn't take long.

"Mmm." Shen Yue looked at his maid after closing the door. She was a girl in her late teens with a quite pretty appearance, her name was Jin Cai, a commoner girl. The original Shen Yue treated her quite poorly and also made her give him handjobs every time she bathed him… It was certainly good to be a young master.

Students from Noble families are allowed to bring in one servant into the Holy Orchid Institute and for Shen Yue it was Jin Cai, one of the maids assigned to him by the Sacred Family.

These inscription patterns surrounded the entire world and existed everywhere; created by a supreme expert and forming a seal around the Tiny World.

No one other than the novel's Nie Li was able to come to this conclusion among the common masses and this realization helped him to grasp the Power of Law very easily. With the understanding that the Power of Law are inscription patterns, Shen Yue maybe would be able to comprehend and feel out the Power of Law that countless peak Legend rank experts struggle with.

If he does that, Shen Yue will be able to cultivate by using a stronger energy than soul force - the Laws - from the start, and his cultivation speed and strength will skyrocket! Cultivating with Power of Law from the start would be like a great cultivation cheat.

However, Shen Yue first needed to test if his mysterious seed, in the form of a miniscule seed, would already be able to contain the Power of Law. After all, the Power of Law was said to destroy the body if one's physique isn't strong enough and Shen Yue's physique wasn't even at 1-star Bronze rank.

Because of that Shen Yue delayed attempting to comprehend the Power of Law. And perhaps he wouldn't even be able to detect the Power of Law even if he tried.

Regardless, Shen Yue concentrated on another advantage - the ten word chant of Kong Ming that sprouted Nie Li's mysterious vine and repeatedly aided Nie Li in cultivation.

However, Shen Yue declined it as well - if he comprehended this chant now and then Nie Li somehow entered the Abyss Prison realm before him and also comprehended it as a sixth person, then it might complicate things.

However, Shen Yue didn't look down on her for that at all. Fortunately for the both of them, this time around that someone might be him and not Nie Li who would only ignore her.

When Shen Yue walked into the classroom, he noticed that Xiao Ning Er took his advice and didn't show up today.

Taking a glance around the room, Shen Yue saw that Nie Li, Du Ze and Lu Piao were now sitting together. Du Ze and Nie Li were chatting, while Lu Piao was dozing off.

Having Nie Li notice that Shen Yue was looking at him, Shen Yue sent him a subtle arrogant look which Nie Li replicated with a glare.

'This Shen Yue is so annoying.' Nie Li's eye twitched.

Right now the lesson would be starting soon and students were gathering in small groups, chit chatting.

Ye Ziyun was chatting with other girl friends at a different desk, making friends, so Shen Yue was by himself at the side.

When Shen Yue arrived at his seat, he noticed that there were four letters left under his desk which caused him to be surprised. The letters were inside delicate and exquisite envelopes, some with hearts and flowers on their surface.

With raised eyebrows, Shen Yue sat down and opened the first delicate-looking letter that smelled like flowers. He read it.

'Dear Shen Yue, the words that you said in class earlier gave me courage to write this letter to you.

Even though we're from two different worlds, I had to let you know how I feel. I understand that I only know you for a short time, but from the first moment I saw you I felt like I met the love of my life.

I thought that you were a bit scary at first, but now I know that I was wrong, you are not like any other guy or any other noble. It really touched my heart when you spoke up for those with a more humble birth. Anyway, it just made me realize how special you truly are.

I'm a little shy, so writing this letter was very hard for me, but here it goes: I really like you. I hope that we can talk and perhaps you'll feel the same way about me.

I'll be in the library in the Sacred Empire Era section after school, and I hope you'll meet me there.

The last paragraphs on the parchment had dried off droplets of water and the letters were a little jagged, making Shen Yue think that the girl was crying when she wrote it.

When Shen Yue finished reading the letter, he felt his heart being touched. At the same time his heart was aching and he felt pity for this girl. He had no idea who Tian Qing was, but she was probably bound to be heartbroken.

Without thinking much, Shen Yue raised his head and glanced around the classroom, but as he did that, he noticed that due to his gaze several different girls lowered their heads and looked away shily with blushing and embarrassed faces.

Shen Yue swallowed a bit of saliva. Even though he received Shen Yue's memories of being a stuck-up, this kind of attention and popularity felt quite new to John the virgin. It was certainly not a bad feeling to be eyed as a prized jewel.

With a sigh, Shen Yue calmed himself down. He looked back at Tian Qing's letter in his hand and carefully folded it in half.

He then read the other love letters one by one, but they didn't specify a meeting place and only indicated the girls' names. Two of them actually belonged to the girls that Shen Yue and Ye Ziyun shared lunch with yesterday; they probably wanted to strike iron while it was hot, since they saw that Shen Yue treated Ye Ziyun as a friend. As for the last girl - Shen Yue had no idea who that was.

Finishing reading the four letters, Shen Yue thought about his own training - it was probably thanks to cultivating for so much yesterday and his decent soul force amount, but Shen Yue didn't have any muscle aches when he woke up today. With that he could repeat his full body strength training workout today and gradually increase the intensity.

In another aspect of his training, Shen Yue's priority was to somehow test if he can cultivate the Power of Law safely. If he's able to cultivate with Power of Law, then from now on Shen Yue's cultivation speed should be a lot faster than Nie Li's, very likely enough to overpower Nie Li in a fight just by cultivation and brute force alone, even with Shen Yue's garbage fighting skills.

But the most important thing for Shen Yue was to get 1 more System Point!

Shen Yue hoped to have a chance to antagonize Nie Li somehow before the classes ended, mock him, ridicule him or do something, but Shen Yue couldn't just walk up to Nie Li and start insulting him in public. He needed to do it subtly!

Shen Yue didn't want to earn a reputation of being the bad guy, as it would be terrible for him. He had to treat Nie Li as his enemy, but make himself look innocent, making it seem like small quarrels between rivals or with Nie Li being the one in the wrong.

Soon the bell rang, Shen Xiu twisted her waist and walked into the classroom, beginning her lecture.

First, second, third, fourth lesson…

Throughout all of the lessons Shen Yue struggled to find something productive to do and could only brainstorm ideas and scheme.

Shen Yue really wished that he could cultivate during that time, but cultivating during lectures would be plainly rude and inappropriate. At the same time when cultivating Shen Yue's strangely strong and dense soul force aura might be detected by his aunt and Nie Li, so that was out of the question.

Before the classes ended, Shen Yue subtly glanced at Nie Li a few times, but he didn't manage to gain any System Points, so they remained stuck at 9. It seemed that Nie Li calmed down his heart.

Eventaully the final bell rang and the classes ended.

As the two were packing their stuff, Shen Yue looked at Ye Ziyun with a light smile. "Hey, Ziyun, how about we go eat something at a diner and chat for a bit? We should focus on our training, so let's make it quick and just go with the two of us."

Ye Ziyun looked at Shen Yue. "No need," she would have said if it was any other guy, thinking that Shen Yue only wants to go on a date with her, but now she thought for a moment and, seeing Shen Yue's friendly expression, gently smiled and said, "Okay."

Xiao Ning Er was absent from school today and the two girls that they went with yesterday were too infatuated with Shen Yue, so Ye Ziyun couldn't even begin to talk with them. She thought that chatting with Shen Yue wouldn't be bad, especially since he was also focused on training and even promised her to try and help Xiao Ning Er. "The cafeteria is incredibly packed right after the classes end and there's a huge queue. With our identities we could skip the queue, but abusing our status feels a bit wrong. We can as well eat something in peace and quiet, right?" Shen Yue said lightly. He knew that the City Lord's mansion is not that far, so Ye Ziyun had no need to eat at a diner or cafeteria other than for social purposes.

"Mmm," Ye Ziyun hummed absentmindedly. Why didn't Ning Er show up today?

"By the way, Ziyun," Shen Yue said, looking at Ye Ziyun. "I wouldn't reveal it to anyone else, but I'm actually really good at inscription patterns. If you need help, you can ask me freely."
