POV: Ráel

I slowly opened my as I looked around me still being inside the library my previous headache was gone and I felt much better than before it felt like I ate some special medicine,the strange thing is that the altar vanished and a door appeared on its place and there were no traces of something happening in this room.

When clearly something happened even the pillar I crashed against multiple time looked like it was never touched.

I just accepted as something done by my inner demons so I tried to stand up and I was surprised at what I saw on my arm runic like tattoos from my chest all the way up to my shoulders and then down on my arms.

I tried to inspect them but I got nothing it felt just like having a simple ink tattoo on your body,but that's clearly impossible in this world.

I could not just go around looking like this that would attract unnecessary attention, even though I could walk around and no one would be able to sense me.

The moment I thought about them going away they slowly retracted towards my chest and creating a intricate looking tattoo strange shaped figures put together inside a circular runic formation.

So that's what those strange marking on my inner demon were I thought as the image of him when I first arrived here.

Lets just go out of here for now i thought as I made my way towards the door the moment I opened it the space behind me slowly started to disappear as I arrived once again in-front of my inner demon .

"So we meet again,you were faster than expected only two days inside there"Inner demon said.

'Two days, I must have been unconscious for a long time than' I thought to my self.

"So did you have fun writing books about me or should I say about US" I asked my inner demon with a smirk on my face, he made a face of surprise and then smirked back.

"So you figured It out that it was your inner demons that wrote those books,quite impressive how did you do that?" My inner demon asked curiously

"You see at first I though it was the gods doing but after going through the first two years of my life it was just simply copy paste of my actions, but the moment I awakened as a mage things started to change the books started to explain ideas and theory's I could do only at a higher lever than I was so the only beings that could have done that were you all, my miniature black hole spell further solidified my doubts about you" I explained my doubts about the books

"Ohh so you even managed to get the black book I put it there thinking you would not have gone that far, and would just brute force your way out of there but you surpassed my expectations " my inner demon said quit impressed at my explanation and action in this trial of his.

"Tell me what is this strange looking tattoo on my chest it appeared after absorbing the purple ball of aether " I asked him clearly showing my intentions of wanting to know more about it.

"Well to put it simply it allows you to use aether, every demon had similar abilities, and yours took the shape of that tatto based on the laws and order of this universe, adapting to this worlds standars and from your memory most of the beings who used aether had or have runic tattoos on them to help them better channel and manipulate aether so it took that shape based on your understanding of this world" my inner demon explained but I felt there was more than that.

"Is that all" I asked clearly doubtful about his words.

"You see the choice and decisions you make in this trial will decided a lot on how that Runic tattoo will come out and what its abilitys are for example for some demons it will give massive understanding of specific elements and for other demons just an overall psychical boost, it all depends on the user." My inner demon explained the use of Runic tattoo.

I just silently nodded my head at him indicating that I understood what he was saying and to continue with his explanation.

"Of course, after saying this the next thing is to tell you about the third and final trial, it is quite simple actually but it's immensely dangerous if you fail you would vanish from existence" my inner demon explained seriously

" I understand continue, it's not like the first time I risk my life" I replied nonchalantly without caring about the consequences.

"Lets continue than,in this trial to advance in your rank you have to simple choose an energy and imbue it in your heart and endure the process, this process is only available to the demon race and no one else in this entire universe or outside it could do ,in the case that you are not able to endure,your heart would explode and the energy you choose would devour you." My inner demon said

The moment I heard that my mind completely focused on one idea as a crazy thought came up in my mind as a smirk formed on my face if what he said is true than I could imbue my heart with Aether and gain control over it.

"Are you sure of your idea Aether is one of the most powerful energies even outside this universe it gives access to the most powerful laws Time,Space,Life,Death,Destruction, Creation and even Fate and literally reality itself, so a source of power that high will most likely devour you."my inner demon sounded existed at the thought of gaining control over aether but at the same time warned me of the danger it holds.

"Arthur managed to create a aether core what does stop me from having an aetheric Heart" I asked him,deciding to go with Aether.

"Most of our predecessors only choose Temporal energy or Spacial energy some even choose both of them and there were some that choose Destructive energy but none of them had the courage To go the path that you are taking so be prepared for Death.

As you already know our race is attuned to every element but because of our circumstances we mostly used Space Time Creation and Destruction at the later stages of power so yours will be ten times or even more harder then them when they failed with just one what does make you think that you will be able to do it." My inner demon asked me a good question.

"Honestly I don't know, but if I don't believe in my self then who else is going to believe,if I die and disappear here so what, that means that's how far my journey was meant to be." I replied casually not giving it much thought honestly.

"Pfhh hahahahaha, you are crazy you know that, if that is how it should be than move forward let's start this process and see who will come on top" my inner demon said as he started to laugh out loud after hearing my words.

"Than that makes us both crazy in some way, aren't you my inner demon a representation of my self" I asked with a smirk as I took a step forward not knowing if this will be my last step or will I triumph and come out stronger than ever.

"That makes sense,let's do this" my inner demon said as he appeared before me and put his hand on my shoulder and without sound I was gone.

POV:Ráel

Just like the previous two times I saw black for a few seconds and then my vision came back this time I was in a complete dark space with different balls of energy floating around me.

I slowly went up to each ball of energy and inspected it up close after doing to all of them,i came to a conclusion that they were all the energy's I came in contact with in my life.

Obviously the pure white and purple one pure mana and aether,the others should be the elemental energy's I have like that black one representing Gravity and that Yellow one lightning.

It's really interesting if you think about it, only a foolish idiot would choose, those elemental energy's at best you could achieved mediocre power in your life, and beside I already have control over them.

The only two good choices would be Aether and Pure mana, but like before I have control of pure mana to some extend to but I can only influence Aether at best, if I want to compete with the Asuras in the upcoming events and triumph on top I need much more power and control over mana the way I am now I could probably beat some average Asuras but the elites and their leaders, that's a different matter entirely.

Especially that man the leader of the Indrath Clan Kezess indrath, from what I know he has control over Aevum the aspect of aether wich controls time, I was somewhat immune to time stop when Arthur used Static Void, but that's just maybe because he is weaker then me.

Anyways I am getting of track now I have my own problem here, if I don't make it out of here alive what's the point of worrying about my enemies.

I went up in-front of the aether energy and sat down in a meditation position as i took a deep breath getting rid of unnecessary thoughts and solely focus on the task before me.

I activated my eyes and the world around changed once again before me, I could see every ball of energy radiating their respektive power, the amount in the balls of energy was quite a lot to be honest.

Next I put my attention back to the ball of aether in-front of me, either this will be a huge successful or complete annihilation.

Slowly expanding my hand towards it I put my hand on it them, expecting massive pain and something else.

The ball of aether vanished as for a few nothing happened but then my heart started to beat loudly and fast

My heart and organs slowly started to feel cramped and squeezed together,my body was enveloped with a amethyst hue like-aura and then it started.

The pain was so intense jet at the same time I felt a gentle touch run across my body every-time it got destroyed or decayed one moment they were gone the next they were there it felt like a crash of two opposing forces.

I felt time stop around me as with a blink of an eye I appeared in different places some were just dark spaces, some were places like volcanos or massive tornadoes and storms.

I was gaining insane amounts of information to the point that my brain felt like it was fried alive as accompanied by that feeling a massive headache appeared it felt like someone was opening my skull and squeezing my brain.

My body was in a state of constant destruction,decay and regeneration and revitalisation.

I felt the ripped and stable spaces around me as the moment my body made contact with them, my body parts would explode in a burst of blood and mesh-like flesh as pieces of bones would fly everywhere.

Looking through my body I could see my heart slowly absorbing the aether as it changed color from its normal read to a deep purple-black one.

But from the looks of it only the outer shell of the heart was changing, it slowly started to expanded towards my blood veins running around my body but the constant struggle of my body was preventing it from going further down towards my limbs.

The pain and the non stop informations i was getting wasn't helping either it only made it more difficult for me to concentrate and do something.

I felt like i would loose conciunsnesso soon enough and I would die,i was about to teleport once again like before in a stable space rift from what I could see but, this time it felt different the space rift in-front of me was extremely unstable to the rate that it was destroying the fabric of reality around it.

I wasn't even able to resist as I was teleported somewhere and just like that I vanished from me initial position.

I lost my sight for a few seconds and when my vision returned the thing I saw and the aura it emitted left me breathless and a primal instinct of fear came over my body,because the process was continuing I couldn't do much but just start at it.

A colossal dark creature was looking right at me to be more precise it was just a massive dark eyeball looking straight at me, I could not even see the end of its body, a great number of dark tentacles appeared behind it towards me.

I felt it it's breath on me, it was like if I move even an inch I would be dead,the pressure it was radiating it was making it even harder for me to concentrate and try to stabilise my condition.

The area around him it's was like it waited its command,like it was static.

"$%¥>^}$#+#*%%$}$%%>~$}%" it felt like it spook something but I could not understand it.

I didn't respond,but just tried to make a confused look to try and communicate,it's seems to understand my way of saying I don't understand as the tentacles around him vibrated for a bit.

"What is thou doin here,a youngling like you should not be here" I heard a broken voice just right beside me but I knew for a fact that was impossible so it must be his doing.

"I don't know I was just teleported here,from

An unstable space rift." I tried to sound as calm as possible, as it was hard for me to even speak.

"Why is your body like that why does your presence contain all those laws and powers"it asked me again in a broken voice but better than before,it felt like it was intrigued by the process my body was going through.

"I don't know I was just trying to become stronger,through assimilating a higher source of power and this happened." I honestly replied,it would be dumb to lie to someone like him.

"Interesting, a creature like you should have not been able to exist and yet here you are"now with a clear voice it said as I felt an energy inspect my body.

I didn't respond to that I just tried with all my might to stop this process most of my heart was now purple and filled with aether but at this moment I felt like my soul was being damaged, as my body complete stoped getting destroyed.

"You are the first, creature in existence arriving this far with that process you are doing trying to assimilate a higher energy source of that level."the monsters voice once again entered my ears, but at the state i was in i could not even think right, everything about me started to become a mess my memories my instincts my life the more damage my soul took the worst it got.

"Those of your kind should have been sealed away from this dimension you should not have existed at this reality you are an anomaly to the entire existence." The being cept saying something but I could not pay attention to its words.

"Who am I?" I slowly started to question my existence.

"Why am I here?" I asked once again.

"Who is Ráel?"

"What is happening to me?"

The question kept coming as i was slowly loosing my sanity, i was slowly succumbing to madness and self destruction.

'The creature after carful thinking decided to help the youngling in front of him it extended its tentacle towards Ráel and with a gentle touch a energy entered Ráels body as it fought back the Aether inside.

After a long period of time, thanks to the creatures help the body of Ráel was done assimilating the aether as now his body was vastly different then before,His heart wich was now complete deep Purple was holding Aether inside it as it like blood ran through Ráels body constantly nourishing and making it stronger.

Ráels body started to glow in a deep amethyst hue as the strange runic tattoos appeared on his body and with a last look from the creature his body disappeared, as the space once again regained its tranquility.
