| Progress |

POV: Ráel

Time flew by as I continued with my plan and so my days became monotonous doing the same thing everyday fighting beasts, leveling up, and meditating the entire night in an attempt to increase my understanding of aether and it did work slowly but surely I progressed

I tried to limit my self on fighting the beasts only with my Deviant elements as to master them fully it took quite some work but in the end I was able to achieve full mastery on each and every element accessible to me.

I even got the idea of creating a domain of a sort with all the different elements and I got to say it's quite a good idea.

Like comanding all the ice mana in the atmosphere to create a domain of ice freezing everything it touches.

It's quite a good spell for multiple enemies plus I can use it on every element going as far as to create and inferno domain or a gravitational domain it should come in handy when fighting against large group of enemys.

I have also realised that I seem to have higher affinity for concepts like Time, Space and Destruction

Its not like I don't have affinity with the other concepts but those three feel more natural to me as my inner demon said before we of the daemon race have mostly used Spatial energy temporal energy and Destructive energy so it makes sense that I would have a better understanding of them.

And the beasts here are weak to weak to make me even use my power I have encountered a lot of coprupted mana beasts the work of the Alacryans or whatever u call them they put on a better fight but just a infused aether sword slash kills them.

After meditating all this time and feeling and trying to understand the aether around me I feel like it's not the right place for this at the end I still need to go to the relic tombs there are aetheric beasts and different chalenges adjusted to the level of the participants

So it's like heaven for me a free place where I can become stronger without worrying about anything else and I have just the idea on how to enter it I thought calmly analysing every step from here on.

Should I help this doomed continent is it worthy of salvation I ask this questions a lot lately I need Arthur for my plan to work so I need him alive no matter what even though I doubt he will die since fate itself is influencing and protecting him in a sort of way or what people of my old world would refer as "plot armor"

But here it's different I am an anomaly in a sense me and Arthur are two sides of the same coin, the flow of Fate guides and protects him while I go against the flow of fate rebelling against this might force of nature in search of my goal.

I have been thinking a lot lately haven't I thought as I took care of my sword gently cleaning it and whipping away the blood, even though I don't need to do this but I like to do it it's quite enjoyable.

Lets have a look at my status once again before I move on with my next plan I thought as I looked at the sky today should be the day of his return let's make an appearance on the world once again and why not cause a little bit of chaos while I am at it I thought with a smirk I had enough of hiding and growing in power without a good fight.

I wonder if he still does rember me it's been quite a long time I thought to my self as I put on over a brown cloak with the hood on beneath the cloak I wore a simple loose buttoned up shirt with black pants and black military boots a silver necklace with a blue gem embedded on it wich I found in on of my dungeon dives with two rings for each of my middle fingers and finally strapped behind my back was my beloved sword "Dragon Slayer"

It was time to leave my temporary home I thought as I looked around I have been here quite a long amount of time I said as I slowly turned around step after step disappearing in the forest .

My next destination being the black platform floating atop the ocean, can't pass on the chance to see the events unfold befor me.

POV: Arthur Leywin

Damn it I thought to my self after training in Epheotus and finally coming down meeting Tess and Gramps, the information I got from the scouts was not pleasent to hear as I made my way out of the castle with force riding on top of my bond making my way toward Trelmore City landing on a vast snowy field overlooking Trelmore city and the ocean.

I cursed out loud at my massive and thoughtless blunder I made after seeing the sight infront of me.

I could only stare in silence at scene.

Hundreds of ships approaching from the glowing horizon, not more than a few dozen miles away from shore, making their forces stationed in the Beast Glades seem like nothing more than a speck.

Virion's last piece of advice popped into my head at that moment. He told me not to blame myself, but it was all that I could do at this moment.

This being my second life, I had insight and knowledge that people of this world didn't have.

Despite this knowledge and my wisdom, I didn't think about the consequences that would arise from a seemingly harmless act that would benefit those around me.

I heard the words of my bond as she said " this doesn't look good" but I could only nod my head and say it's all my fault.

"Lets go Sylvie, we have a war to win" I said to my bond.

POV:Arthur Leywin

After going back and discussing it with gramps and Aldir the meeting between the two sides will begin soon enough I thought as we made our way towards the place.

Sylvie took on her white fox form as me Gramps and Aldir made our way down towards a black platform floating and there they were the gray skinned creatures known as Vritra.

As if me and gramps didn't exists they locked eyes with Aldir and greeted him.

"I am Cylrit and this is Uto. It is an honor to meet you, Aldir. We retainers have heard much about the famous asuras in Epheotus." Even though the greeting wasn't out of respect I thought.

"I trust that you will uphold the pact and remain a noncombatant?"

I couldn't help but be surprised at how casually he had mentioned that he was a retainer.

That meant that he was one of the leading figures in this war that were actually allowed to fight-just beneath the Four Scythes.

"Assuming that your side will do the same? Then yes," Aldir answered, his stare just as piercing as those of the Vritras.

"To bad I wanted to fight an Asura, well I will have to do on slaughtering thousands of you lessers" the Retainer knows as Uto responded trying to provoce us

"Just get on with your terms, I wouldn want to touch e lessurans like you anyways so go on with your terms and disappear from my sight" Aldir replied and from the twitch on the face of Uto the provocation seems to work.

"The message that His Majesty has tasked me to deliver to the leaders of Dicathen is simply this:Surrender the ruling family and mercy will be given to those who deserve it. Continue resistance and our army will eradicate everyone on this without discretion," Cylrit recited, his gaze still only on Aldir.

"You call those terms?" Virion burst out. "That's a one-sided ultimatum!"

Uto revealed a cocky sneer as he dipped his head lower to be eye-level with Virion. "Be thankful you even have the choice. Don't worry.

If you decide on the first option, I promise to be extra gentle when slicing off your head."

Cyrit stared daggers at his companion. "We weren't sent here to incite a fight, Uto."

"That was never my intention, just a friendly warning of the upcoming battle," the lanky Vritra replied but then turned to Virion with a perverse grin."I hope to meet you and your granddaughter, Elf King. I'll make sure to enjoy myself thoroughly as you helplessly watch."

Disregarding Aldir's warning, I stepped forward, ready to draw the sword in my dimension ring, but in that instant, Virion moved first.

In a flash, his fist made contact with Uto's jaw.

Tessia's grandfather had already activated his second phase, a shroud of black covering his entire body and head, but I could still make out the rage in his eyes.

And the moment the punch landed and the hood flew back from the impact I saw something that made me rage everything that was holding me back until now disappeared the chip on its horn was the one that Lance Alea had done to the enemy before dying in that terrible state.

"Was it you who killed Lance Alea" I asked clearly knowing that it was him as I took step after step towards him letting all my mana flow out

Just that daunting smile of his made me decide the vritra hat to die.

Just before taking another step I felt a hand on my shoulder as Aldir stoped me but just before that I heard a sonic Boom as I was surprised to see this person in front of me.
