The Interesting Intruders.

Three days have passed since the mistake I made in the Adventurers guild. I thought of taking a quick nap, thinking the people affected in the room would wake up in a couple hours. Seem's I made a huge mistake. Well, a couple.

First, I underestimated the strength of my spirit. Even though I controlled the strength output and failed to control the range, everyone in the whole of Xyrus was unconscious. How I knew this? A quick sprint around the whole of the city was more than enough to give me an idea to how bad I fucked up.

Sure, I got away with it, and even if I didn't no one can do anything about it. They can try, but it wouldn't be very smart. Anyways, another mistake is the fact that I most likely allowed my presence to be revealed.

Agrona is a being that tampers with souls... Spirits. Even going as far as to reincarnate a being from a whole different world, onto his just so he'd have the ultimate power. How he did that? No clue. But there's no way he didn't feel the pressure from my spirit. If he didn't?

Ouch.

Whatever though. Less problems for me to face as of right now.

'What to do, what to do...' I fell into thought, my legs resting on the table in my room of the Xyrus Inn, pushing the front two legs of my chair off the ground. I was initially supposed to get an Adventurer's ID. I'm so foolish...

Letting my irritation get the best of me at such an age is disappointing. Something else I should work on while I'm the only one awake.

My eyes closed as I took a deep breath. Thinking about how monitoring everyone in the city would be a hassle, I dispersed my Kenbunshoku Haki and let it stretch as far as the cities depth. Inside my mind I let the hundreds, if not thousands of life signatures flood my mind before I sectioned them off to the back of it. Keeping them on the back of my mind.

Everyone is still knocked out cold, but some have showed signs of waking. People will be in panic so I'm kind of interested in seeing what the Royal family would come up with as an excuse for people not to panic.

A sigh escaped my mouth, my eyes opening as I stare off at the wooden, gloomy ceiling. Feeling the silence radiating off of the dead city. It was nice... The past few days i've been here it was always loud and bustling. Even at night.

'I should do this again sometime...' I mused. A slight smile on my face as I fell into the depths of my fantasies.

...

That didn't last long. My eyes shot open, forming into a deep frown.

Two people entered my domain. They weren't weak by any means, nor were they human. Mana cores that were so pure, so advanced that they were actually clear... Completely see through. Standing up with a start, I grabbed Rebirth, my sword, and headed out to meet such beings.

My mind already at work as I tried to guess who they were... But no matter how many idea's popped into my mind. I knew that they weren't Agrona's forces. He has spies. He had no need to send such powerful beings to my doorstep just to see what happened in a continent he's planning to take over anyway.

He has no need for the residents.

Only one race of Deities care for this land...

'Asuras.'

...

It didn't take long for me to meet them. They weren't that far out, but even then they were far enough for me to walk a normal pace and get to the entrance of Xyrus Academy before they even set foot on this floating city.

The whole way here I tracked their movements. Even noticing the change in pace as they felt my presence. Most likely sensing my mana core instead of matching me with the current event that going on right now.

The litter of unconscious bodies on the way here crossed my mind while I waited. If a battle- WHEN the battle begins, there's no saving them. They can't move and I'm not wanting to go out of my way to even try and save them all.

But! If the chance occurs that I can save even one of them? Sure, I'll throw them out the way.

BOOM!*

CRACK!*

Snapping out of my inner monologue, I stood my ground as the two Asura landed quite ostentatiously in front of me. The ground cracked under their very feet, kicking up mountains of dust that took only seconds to settle.

"Hmm? It really is a single human... Master, it seems you were correct." A young, boyish voice reached my ears. This was the one I couldn't really recognize... The other one however...

"Of course I was correct, boy. Now shut it." Aldir, the Asura belonging to the only Clan on Epheotus to wield the World Eater Technique. Also known as one of the greatest warriors on Epheotus.

This sure will be fun.
