Prologue

Before the beginning of the times. Even before the eight great clans of Asuras were formed. One giant dragon manifested from darkness itself, Progenitor of all dragons Antares. Leader of once known Berserk Dragons, ancestors of now known Indrath Clan.

The massive dragon flying behind the horde of other dragons was feared even among other Asuras themselves. A dragon who could literally erase continents with its breath was called God of Destruction.

But happened something inevitable. Soldiers of the Dragon army especially ones who founded the Indrath clan rebelled and turned against their leader Antares. Rebels sacrificed themselves to kill leaders of dragons. They used a replica of Antares's technique called Breath of Destruction. The replica was called World's Eater Technique.

This technique for a long time brought up bad memories for every asura even after the defeat of Antares. Generals of Berserk Dragon's army still survived and were chased for thousands of years and their elimination was still happening by that only technique.

Only one General remained of once known ten. Fourth General of Berserk Dragons army, Kamish. If not the strongest, he was the most intelligent of them all. For all years he was running away from other Asuras, from all these years of hiding. He found a way...

He found a way to transfer his soul to someone. He used Agrona Vritra's hatred of Asuras and with the promise of eliminating the whole Great Eight, he convinced Agrona to do an experiment. An experiment where his soul will be in this world even after his death.

His soul will be transferred into a new vessel.

But something unexpected happened. Instead of his rebirth into a new body... He changed the structure of the soul but did not replace it. The person was born with the body of a human, but the soul was of a dragon.

What will happen to the first Dragonborn?

For all my life. I haven't done anything special. Lived my life of 16 years as a student in a very local school, until a dispute between countries broke out.

Declaration of war and boys above the age of 16 were already doing fast-paced courses to become soldiers. I understood that the country was in need of manpower, but recruiting orphans and only boys in the family was already a critical hit for our morale.

"Y-You... are c-coming with me!" I choked out, with my own blood coming out from my mouth.

With the terrible taste of iron and a burning sensation in my chest, I gathered all my strength and slammed down my hand on mine, making it explode right aftertouch. Big fire engulfed me but I already couldn't feel pain.

Ready to leave this world and enter my eternal slumber, I heard only one thing...

Followed by the most terrifying roar. A red-haired man with the same colored beard and gigantic dragon shadowing him, while he himself was pointing at me. this was the image that I saw only for a moment. only just for a second before it disappeared, but I remember it clearly. Every small detail in that image.

This is the only thing, I remember from that exact day. Everything I try to remember other than this is just a shackle of my life.

Of my previous life to be exact...
