Chapter Two.

"Adda when is Hamma Zayyad coming, i need to remind him about my sweet sixteen, a'andi ovi mi numti na mo (you know he said i should remind him) when the time comes" I asked Adda Amnah sitting next to her on the couch.

"Mi anda (i don't know) he said he might come over later, so am not sure yet, infact can't you call him is he not your brother"

"Yes you're right sef, let me call him instead. Yauwa Adda miyidi dress fa (i want a dress) Abba said i should ask you about it, you know it has to be a grand birthday"

"Ok, we can go get it later before Zayyad comes"

"Ok Adda, i love you soo much" i said and kissed her cheek.

I rushed to my room to get a veil so we can leave because i know her she can get mad and won't go if i waste her time.

We left for the dress, i got a black gown and a shoe. Omg the gown is soo adorable, it has pearls on it and a bow by the side, it looks soo beautiful.

"Have you booked for the cake or should we branch and book one before going home" Adda asked when we left the mall.

"I only booked for cup-cakes, so i guess we should branch and book for the cake"i answered happily.

We stopped at a bakery on our way home and booked for the cake. The birthday is on Wednesday so we need to make all possible arrangements as fast as we can. Am soo excited thou not that much cause Abba won't be at home, he's leaving for Spain on Tuesday, how i wish it will have been on Thursday.

"Na ko ayidi timmi na (that's all you need right), or is there anything else" Adda asked.

"No timmi (that's all),i already told Mary and Zainab the food to prepare and the doughnuts also" i apprised Adda.

"Ok then lets go home cause am already exhausted, will i be able to meet Zayyad sef cause am already sleepy Allah"she concluded.

"Kai Adda please meet him, am sure he's already on his way sef, ko 30minutes on kafun oviya mi watima wahala (before he start saying i made you suffer today)" i said laughing.

"Ok"

We all laughed

"Adda, Hamma Zayyad wari (is here)" Manal informed us when we arrived home.

"Hamma Zayyad you came at the right time, i was about calling you"i spoke with a smile on my face as i walked towards Hamma Zayyad.

"Dume fe'i (what happen)"he asked

"You've forgotten, its my birthday week"

"Ohhh wadu muyal (am sorry) i totally forgot, that was why i told you to remind me when the time comes" Hamma Zayyad pleaded

"Kai Tasneem atleast let him rest now, ko hofnugo mo a wadai (you've not greeted him sef)" Adda interrupted the conversation.

"Oh sorry jambanduna Hamma Zayyad"i greeted.

Hahaha jam (fine), how are you preparing for the celebration" Hamma Zayyad laughed and answered.

"Jam fa (fine), it will be a grand celebration insha Allah"

"Toh Allah kaimu, when is it sef"

"Kai Hamma Zayyad ha'a yejjiti (you've forgotten) it's on Wednesday.

"Toh Allah kaimu"

"Oya you can leave now, its pass your bed time sef, gobe school bye bye" Adda interrupted again.

"Toh Adda do farta am (Adda is chasing me out), goodnight i said as i walked upstairs.

"Adda Tasneem adani na (are u asleep)"the twins opened my door a little and asked.

"Mi danai (am awake) come in"

"We couldn't sleep so we decided to come over to your room"

"Ok, come over and sleep here for today am sure you're scared thats why"

"We're not"they sheepishly said.

"Toh minani (i've heard) am switching the light off"

"Toh goodnight Adda Tasneem"

"Goodnight babies"

Tasneem's POV

Its Monday again, darm i hate Monday's, we have maths double period and thats my worst subject.I woke up early, got dressed and ready for school, after breakfast me, minal and manal left for school. We all attend Pace Setters Academy, the twins are in primary one while am in ss3.

We arrived at exactly 7:30 am, i met my bestfriend Batul already in class.

"Madam, how are you" I hugged Batul.

"Fine fa, worst day of the week, i soo hate Mondays Allah"

"Same here Allah, where is Nurain"

"I guess he's not in school yet, he's always late"

"Talk of the devil, there he is"

"Batul, Tasneem how are you guys, i missed you all Allah" Nurain said as he walked towards us.

"Kai Nurain it was just two days"I said to Nurain.

We all laughed.

"So how was the weekend" Nurain asked.

"Alhamdulillah" we both replied.

"Tasneem how's our birthday preparations going" Nurain continued.

"Fine fa, almost done sha, if both of you misses it amma kill you Allah" i jokingly said.

"Haba min foti (how dare us)" they both said.

"It's time for maths oya lets concentrate" Batul said ending the conversation.

After the boring hours of class we went for break, i walked with my two besties, Nurain and Batul to dinning, it was soo fun we ate and gisted about lot of stuffs then went back to class.

We had all our classes when the bell rang and everyone stood to leave, we walked out of the class when i saw the twins running towards me.

"Adda Tasneem, Malam Nasiru is here lets go" they informed me.

"Ok am coming, bye guys see you tomorrow" i waved Nurain and Batul.

"Bye"they both said.
