Chapter 3

-time skip-

POV Tanya

Walking up to darkness once again.

Did I die? No I shouldn't have, being X would have made sure I didn't reincarnate again. Pushing around I managed to break out of what seems to be a black cocoon. Seeing light flash through I start to swim towards it. Coming out of the pool with no one in sight. Wait a minute… I'm not longer in pain! It seems that whatever Salem did to me help strengthen my body. Observing my body I realize that I mutated into a spider like Grimm… interesting. I wonder what my brother has become.

Feeling a tug in the back on my head telling me to go into the pool. I try to resist only for an immense pain to come shortly after trying. Hearing a voice in my head telling me to follow her orders or she will kill me. Realizing that may be Salem I jump straight back into the pool. Feeling everything shift around I realized that Salem summoned me to her. Coming out of a pool nearby I see Salem standing in a hall full of other people. Only to hear gasp from others as I look like a little girl but with a body of a spider behind me.

Salem then says, here she is everyone. The first sentient Grimm.

Seeing everyone observing me made me uncomfortable so I released my killing intent which causes a few to choke on their breath and some of them looked intrigued that I can release that much killing intent at my age.

Seeing Salem put her hand up I stop my killing intent.

I hear Salem ask me to introduce myself.

I tell them in the most girly voice possible to throw them off " Hi everyone! My name is Tanya, I'm 6 years old and Salem is my mom!"

Wait.. why did I say mom? What happened to me when I was unconscious? Why isn't she denying it?

Feeling a glare from Salem causes extreme to shiver for a moment only for her to say to me. "Go help your brother out with his task"

Shaking my head up and down I quickly leave so I could prove myself useful to her. I need to get stronger to even have a chance at killing being X.

Feeling a flow of information in the whereabouts of my brother, I quickly move towards his direction.

As I run I get a random thought' I wonder if I can use magic still.'

Using my magic I realized I can blend and move through shadows. Which is perfect since it's already night time.

POV 3rd person

As Tanya makes her way towards her brother, the hound has caught the winter maiden. However he was stopped short as ruby used her silver eyes. Causing him to fall out the window and the winter maiden to fall down the stairs. As "The hound" gets up he says "Take the girl and run!" He seemed to have regained some of his humanity and sanity back from Ruby's eyes. As the hound tries to let them leave since he senses his sister fast approaching.

Wanting to take them to safety the hound lunges forward only to be pulled back after nearly being crushed by a giant statue. Realizing it's too late for him he says to the others to run.

POV Tanya

After arriving to the area I spot 2 people trying to crush my brother with the statue. As I save my brother I hear Salem's voice telling me to kill my brother since she lost her connection with him. After hearing this I say to my brother "I'm sorry brother, but I have to kill you. Refusing would mean death to the both of us. I will make it as painless as possible for all the years you took care of me."

I hear my brother trying to mutter"I- I lo-" but was cut short as I remove his head from his body. Shortly after he turns into dust leaving only a skeleton behind. Dropping his skull I crush underneath my feet.

Looking towards the trio I tell them "give me the winter maiden and I will give you all a quick death" flashing a bloodthirsty grin.

I hear one of the say" tha-was that your brother! Why did you kill him?"

I respond with "Just following orders, plus he was trying to kill you all so why does it matter to you? Hmm? Although it's a shame, I could have used a loyal dog like my brother."

"How can you say that! He's your brother!"

"How you say? Well for one me and my brother are on the worlds most wanted list. He's a murderer, so you're saying you support his actions?"

"N-no it's jus-"

"Well whatever, times up" I start to run towards them.

Ruby uses her eyes once again causes me to go blind and scream in pain.

As my own silver eyes start to shine some sort of portal opened up due to a chain reaction of Ruby's and my eyes. Falling through the portal I lose consciousness.
