Reviews of Tanky Mage System

I've seen original works with shorter chapters then the synopsis. Otherwise I'm not a huge fan of the new layout, Webnovel is trying to hard to make their site appealing, what would really make it more appealing is finishing novels *cough* Building Ultimate Fantasy *cough*

I was looking for a good mage novel , this one looks good. MC is very cautious and has a quite good brain. He's relatively strong. He every thing he has to make himself stronger not waiting until faced with danger to try getting more power. for every one looking for a good novel I suggest reading this one.

anybody know the Chinese name of the novel so I can just read the mtl of it? can't seem to find mtl of any of the new trial reads so...... ...........

33 Chapters review~~~~~~~ Aight, transmigrator in a fantasy steampunk era. Mc is very cautious and has a quite good brain. He's relatively strong. His golden finger is his passive farming system. No, it's not a farming system but an automatic cultivation system, better said. He has 4 - 5 slots that can be used to cultivate techniques/manuals 24/7. It also denies negative side effects of the said technique/manuel. The system is also accompanied by a treasure seeking function, it's abilities speaks for itself. As he gets stronger or does certain hidden conditions he will unlock more functions. Like dying he got the Reincarnation function and personally I think it should be called 'Revival' but whatever. He comes back to life and will obtain immunity towards the thing that caused his death. Oh, he has 6 lives and it will restock. I guess a bit LOTM vibes or just something else but the cultivation here is called transcendants and you know. No fog room though. Translation Quality: 5* (You can read it smoothly) SoU: 5* (Trial read, bring the 60 chapters back!!! T^T) Story Development: 4* (Mm... Few foreshadowings and mc's strength is developing nicely) Character Design: 4* (Cautious and even a bit smart MC, side characters have nice personalities ect.) World background: 2 - 3* (I mean, come on, are authors so lazy? The most we know that it's a fantasy steampunk era and it's cities name. I guess there are other species than humans........) Overall score: 4.2 --> It's nice, try it

After the 1st 40 chapters the book just is trash and you can't read it without being p***** off But if they fixed the translation the book would be very good

Very nice. This novel shows a lot of potential. It's well written, quite fun to read, and it has left me with expectations towards what is yet to come. No major flaws so far. I hope it gets picked.

The first 40 chapters were very good but again its another bait and switch with awful machine translations from chapter 41 onwards. Gives me a headache just trying to read the mtl chapters.

A beautiful work. The title doesn’t do justice to the novel. It has vibes of LOTM, but better. To those that hate LOTM due to the slow a** plot, this novel is paced well and full of enjoyment with no BS. World building is amazing so far, with decent side characters. MC is smart, doesn’t hide too much of his strength either. He hides trump cards unless necessary. Great trial read.

I only checked this one out because the reviews and I was quite surprised. It's not perfect, but it is very well written and paced. The setup for things to come is very well done. Although the system is OP the world is wide, the threats are many, and the hurdles to overcome quite high. Wherever it goes it should be fun.

Awesome novel. The title makes it seem like it would be generic, but it's a diamond in the rough. The first 40 chapters do a great job of setting things up, and whatever comes next will surely be interesting. It's worth checking out.

Although your first impression of the title may be as comedic, but I assure you this novel has a quite serious atmosphere mostly. The concept brought out by his cheat is executed quite nicely, although you don't get a explanation in the very beginning. This story has a mystical feel to it, quite nice, somewhat similar to Lord of the Mysteries' atmosphere. Strongly recommended to read.

I have read upto 110 Chapter (mtl), and I can confidently say this novel is damn good. This is LOM type of novel and on era that is about make the future of the world and coming generation. There is saying which fit this novel perfectly. This is worst and the best Era. To give you some background , the era of Church had fallen and Era of Steam has begun. New invention and stuff. Humans are united Against Aliens and Dark world which can't see. Best novel to give a try.

The book is amazing I really like it, I've just finished reading it on a chinese page, the whole book and the only thing I feel was kinda meh, was the end, I guess the author just ran out of ideas and end it. Sad about that, expected something epic.

This one is good. The characters are fun, the villains are scheming, the world building is well done, and basically everything it is setting up looks like it will have some sort of interesting payoff. Please vote for it so we can see the payoffs ;p

I liked the story. I especially liked the golden finger. 40 chapters are just too low, they should go back to previous 60 chapters. I hope this book gets selected.

I was surprised. This is actually very well written. I would liken it to a really good well made hamburger. It's not steak, and it's not trying to be steak. But it's juicy and well balanced and very delicious and enjoyable. Protagonist has an OP system, but his system basically takes the emphasis off of leveling, and puts it on the other aspects of the world, which all show a lot of promise. I look forward to reading more.

It's off to a good start. Now to see if the author can keep things going at a nice pace. He did a good job of setting things up, and I look forward to how the MC's ability will develop. The characters are interesting and the villains quite sinister. Hopefully it turns out to be fun.
