36 Meng Xin's Frustration

"How about the results, sir? Is Ouyang Hong willing to help you?" The old butter asked Yao Wei.

"Ouyang Hong is still in America now, but he will contact his connections in the government to look for Shao'er, so I can only wait for news from them." Yao Wei then asked him. "Do you know where Meng Xin went?"

"Our man who followed Madam told me that she went to Ouyang House. After all, she and Madam Yi were close friends, so she probably wanted to talk to her."

"I know." Suddenly, Yao Wei's cell phone rang, but he frowned after seeing the caller's name, and he immediately rejected the call. "Do you have any information about Ran Linfeng?"

"I don't know what happened, but he had asked several people to help him settle some of his debts first, including Yang Kang. "That ravine is indeed deep, and I really hope Tang Xiao is dead by now." Yao Wei then ordered the old butler. "Send some people to monitor the Tang House, and I want them to get rid of Tang Yin as soon as possible, so the Tang family will be completely finished. Moreover, we don't need to worry about Tang Huang and Tang Yuan taking revenge on us; I'm sure that they won't dare to do anything against us, especially since the person behind Ouyang Hong will protect us."

"Can we talk about this later?" Meng Xin then buried her sad face with her hands on the table. "I'm really sad right now, so I want to drink some wine first to calm my mind."

After she returned, Yi An ordered Su Rou to leave them before pouring the wine into two glasses for them. "Here, drink it, and you can explain everything to me."

Wasting no time, Meng Xin downed the wine in her glass in one go, but she didn't seem satisfied with it. "Please, pour me one more."

"I remember for sure that your tolerance for alcohol is too low, so you'd better not drink too much, or you'll get drunk." Even so, Yi An still poured the wine into Meng Xin's glass.

As she stared at the wine in her glass, Meng Xin said to her best friend. "You're right about that, but I can only forget my sadness if I'm drunk. Moreover, I'm at your house now, and no one will take advantage of me while I'm drunk, right?"

"That's for sure." Yi An shook her head as Meng Xin downed it again in one go. "Now tell me your problem."

Meng Xin then refilled her glass with the wine again, and she began to tell Yi An. "My problems with Yao Wei have been the same since five years ago, and he cares more about his son. I repeatedly complained about his son's bad attitude towards me, but he kept asking me to be patient, and his attitude made me fed up."

"Hmm? Is Yao Shao still abusing you?"

"Yeah." Meng Xin then drank the wine again. "Anyway, Yao Shao disappeared this morning, and Yao Wei is looking for him now, but he can't seem to find him."

"Yao Shao disappeared?" Yi An was really surprised to hear that. "Where did he disappear?"

"I don't know, and I can't care about him." Meng Xin then looked at Yi An. "Do you think I should divorce Yao Wei?

"Huh?" She wasn't expecting Meng Xin to ask such a thing, which surprised Yi An. "Are you sure you want to divorce Yao Wei?"

"En." Meng Xin nodded before laying her head on the table. "In all honesty, I am truly envious of you and the others, particularly given that you all have children, and you have Qing'er and Ming'er. Furthermore, we've been married for five years, and I'm getting older now, so I want to have a child as soon as possible. Unfortunately, Yao Wei never had the intention to get me pregnant, so I thought about divorcing him, and I wanted to find another man who had the same vision as me."

Yi An sighed heavily after hearing that, and she knew very well about Meng Xin's wish to have children. "If you want it like that, then you can divorce Yao Wei."

Meng Xin looked up at Yi An, but her expression became sadder, and she seemed to be full of doubts. "I want a divorce from him, but I'm sure that he won't be willing to divorce me, and he might do bad things to me if I really do that."

"You don't need to think about that." Yi An said that while holding Meng Xin's hand. "You are my best friend, so I will fully support your decision, and I will protect you from Yao Wei. I will destroy him myself if he dares to do anything bad to you, and he will regret it very much."

"Haha." Meng Xin laughed softly when she heard that. "Thank you; I know that I can rely on you, so I will contact Feng Yao tomorrow, and I will ask her to handle my divorce."

"We've known each other for years, so there's no need for any thanks between us, right?" Yi An then called Su Rou to send another bottle of wine. "For now, you don't need to think about Yao Wei, and I will accompany you for drinks. However, I want to see a different Meng Xin after we wake up tomorrow, and I hope you will get the happiness you have been longing for the past five years."

"What do you mean by that? What makes me look different?" Jessica's clone asked with a raised eyebrow.

However, Luo Qinlin shook her head. "I don't know, but I feel that you are different from before."

"It's just your feeling." Jessica's clone then stood up and walked out. "I've been here since yesterday, so I have to go back now, or my husband and son will be looking for me. Moreover, I was already planning to go visit my in-laws, so I won't be coming here for a few days."

After she left, Luo Qinlin turned to Ouyang Qing, who had finished her call, but her expression looked bad. "What happened? What did your friend say? Does she know anything about the spread of the video?"

"My friend didn't know anything about it either, but she told me that she no longer has the video, and she thinks someone hijacked her computer, so she's tracking it now." Ouyang Qing then changed clothes and walked out afterwards. "Since Yu Xiaoling is dead, we don't need to think about her anymore, but I have to find another way to do something about Tang Yin.
