Unwanted Drama

Be it Knox, Kyron or Byron, like their hair was as silver as the Patriarch's, all of them had brown eyes too. However, now, Knox's eyes were as ruby as an erupting volcano.

"This is why I wanted a system!" Byron muttered to himself.

He couldn't help but lament on his bad luck. He had been excited when a system proposal came thinking he would not have to loose a battle with an 18-year-old brat again. Now, with a system that was only for satisfying a goddamned goddess's desires, he had no choice but to accept defeat once again.

Like his big bro, Knox's hands were enveloped in ruby smokes, something that resembled a fire forming inside of those curved hands of his.

It was only going to be a matter of seconds and Knox would send it to Byron, sending him crashing on one of the pillars around the cloister behind him.

Luckily, Byron had a soldier, so loyal that she could even die for him. Gillian. She placed herself in front of him like a shield, her arms behind her back as if she was trying to hide something from Knox.

Of course Byron was behind her and could see what was going on. Her hands were cracking, ice spikes appearing on them as if she had... no not as if. Her Special Ability had something to do with ice control. It was obvious.

Come to think of it, Byron's description when he received the memories of this new body was that even the maids were stronger than him.

Because, they also were humans and could awaken some special abilities after Almighty Interpreter approved their strengths.

With this revelation, Byron shifted his gaze from her hands to Knox and gave him a snobbish look, crossing his arms around his chest in what seemed like 'Now what, little brother?'

With an angry voice that sounded as if Knox was in a cave or a pot, he said, "Gillian, step aside. This is not your war."

Gillian was as stubborn as a beauty with an Provoked body could be.

The fact that Knox was fighting to have Gillian combined with the fact that Gillian was the one going against him made him more savage. However, there's one thing Byron was sure of. Love was a weakness, so strong almost like an infection. Knox could not hurt Gillian. Byron was safe. This made his grin become more wide.

Before things could take an expected turn, another voice joined the scene.

"Knox, stop!"

Knox shook a little, and glanced at his big brother.

"No! Kyron, no!"

Kyron's expression darkened when he heard that.

"What... what did you call me, Knox?"

Normally, Knox would have called his big brother Byron. That's how things were meant to be after Kyron replaced Byron. However, since he was angry and consumed with the desire to teach Byron a lesson, he ended up calling Kyron by his real name.

When he realized his mistake, he hurried to apologize.

"Forgive me, big brother!"

He then used Kyron's favourite phrase.

"This son of a bitch has insulted both me, mom and Gillian. He even went on and said that he is the future consort of the Flaming Princess."

Hearing that, Kyron glanced at Byron.

Byron expected him to join his little brother in the 'we have to eliminate this son of bitch' mission. Surprisingly, Kyron did other wise. He saved Byron.

"That's not right Knox!"

Byron was as surprised as you are. Was Kyron really the one saying that. Did he even he himself know what was right and wrong?

Meanwhile, Kyron was not done talking.

"He might have said all those but this is not the right place to that. He also had to tell me where he hid all the water in the bathroom before he dies if that's what you want to do with him."

What else did Byron expect? That Kyron was trying to save him? Wrong!

But wait! Did he say where he had hid all the water?

'Damn! Thought they will notice after I have exited the city!'

'Whatever!'

Now that Kyron was being himself, Byron had also to be himself. Hiding behind beauties was not himself. How would he kill those venomous ones if he was all about hiding behind others?

There would be no way. That's why he stepped past Gillian and placed his body into the open for Knox's fire balls to land on him, not Gillian. Because, he was sure if he angered Kyron, Gillian would have to pay the price.

"Kyron, what do you mean where I hid all the water?"

As soon as Kyron heard Byron calling him by Kyron, his mouth automatically opened to say something Byron had gotten used to.

"Don't you dare call me by that thing again if you love your life. You're Kyron, not me."

Byron chuckled. This was hilarious, right?

"What a strange creature you are, little brother KYRON! How cab a person hate his name that much? Am I that handsome that you can't help but become me even if it means only by name?"

Normally, Kyron would have gone mad after hearing Byron calling him Kyron plus little brother. However, the dude was too angry for any words to come out. Instead, he summoned a spear out of nowhere and glanced at Knox.

"Get ready! We have to eliminate this son of..."

Byron helped Kyron to finish his statement.

"...of a bitch!"

This made Kyron even more angrier. To be honest, Byron didn't know why he didn't feel afraid of them. Maybe it was the fact that there was no cliff behind him or because he thought they could not do such a thing at the castle. The Patriarch would be too fast to intervene and the two brothers would not love the invisible slap to touch their cheeks for causing troubles at the castle.

Kyron glanced at the crowd of people mostly in white attires forming on the far end of the inner court yard and asked, "Where have you hid the water? Tell me! Water is valuable not like a son of a bitch."

Water might have really been so scarce but Byron thought Kyron was exaggerating. If he wanted to kill him, was water really something to stop him?

'Whatever!'

Since Byron didn't feel like he was dying so soon, he said something that would revive his reputation if he survived the onslaught of these two furious brothers.

"I've used all the..."

Byron was unsure if the small buckets was the right word. This unlocked other memories. It was called Water Gould.

"...all the Water Goulds on my body. What's the big deal?"

Kyron had a look of disbelief. Even the crowd started whispering among themselves.

'Was water really that scarce?'

"You have used the water we were supposed to use for a week at once and you're like what's the big deal?"

'A week?! We?!'

That was ridiculous. Didn't those guys bath their whole body? How could six small buckets be shared, let alone being used a week?

At that moment, some other memories of his were unlocked. The mysterious Infection after the gods war led to desertification. Every water body, be it a river, a lake or an ocean dried out. Only Flaming Realms and a few other kingdoms had artificial or whatever type those sources were called.

This meant that Drumline Castle would get water once Flaming Realms supplied food and other necessities which would only happen after a certain period of time.

Now Byron understood why the guys in front of him cherished water. What else would he do about it? He had used all the small buckets and didn't feel guilty about it.

"Yeah! I have used all of them. So what?"

Kyron let out a bit laughter.

"So what?"

It was as if he couldn't believe it was the Byron he knew saying that.

Byron nodded his head his arms still crossed around his chest.

"So... so what?! Really?"

Without even sparing Byron another glance, Kyron said something that made the crowd gasp.

"Knox, go on! This son of a bitch needs a teaching!"
