The Moonlight was shining platinum-gold amid the starlit heavens. Standing near the window, she was staring at the glimmering water of the Crystal waterfall while twisting a rose and playing with it absentmindedly. The starry sky and that darkness of night was so enigmatic and silent that it felt like she had been transported to a new world. 

That faint knock at the door drifted her from her fantasy world as she asked, turning her in that direction, "Yes? Oh, Kai-?"

Clearing his throat, Kaiser answered calmly, "Aylin, I need to talk with you for a minute. Can I?"

Confused, Aylin asked, taking a few steps closer to him, "Yes. What is wrong, Kai? You are looking gloomy."

The concern in Aylin's tone softened Kaiser's dark expression. He approached her and sighing secretly, he flashed a warm smile towards her, suppressing all the tormenting thoughts inside him.
