Later that day....

Li Cheng came home later than usual.

Arriving home the maids along with the guards greeted him as he walked in like a king eager to meet his beautiful wife, but he got shocked when he saw her in the living room watching TV by this time of the day.

What the f**k Is that?, even if she wants to watch a movie she can do that in their room.

Looking at his wrist watch, it was already 11 pm and she is still awake! something is not right. he thought to himself.

Walking up to her. She welcomed him when she saw him standing at her front.

" Oh you're back!, how's work today?, hope it's not too stressful?" she asked as he gave her a peck on her forehead.

" Why are you still awake by this time?, hope all's well" he asked giving her a little kiss on her lips, but the way she reacted made him knew something was wrong.

" Everything is fine, I just don't feel like sleeping, so I decide to watch some movies"

" But you could have done that in our room" he said sitting beside her, but as soon as he sat down she stood up and said

" Am going to your room, I think I'm feeling sleepy now, you can come when you are ready" And that when he knew something was really not right

'Why will she say 'your' room she has never said anything like that before, whenever she wants to address either she says 'ours' or 'mine', so what wrong today? ' he taught to himself

" Jinxin" he called as he loosen his tie and use his hand to brush his hair back, and jinxin answered immediately

" Yes your highness" she replied standing at his front bowing.

" Did anything strange happen today?" he asked

" No sir, nothing happened sir, what wrong?" she replied

" I just felt like she's acting a little strange, so I think something might happen today. Maybe during shopping"

" No sir, I didn't notice anything, we were with her all the time, nothing happened sir"

" ARE YOU SURE" His voice was calm but firm

" Yes sir n... nothing happened I'm 100% sure" she assured

" Okay, you can go" he ordered waving his hand and she walked away

' What the fuck is wrong with her....., Or maybe I'm the own who's just thinking that way' he taught to himself as he stood up and head to their room.

Arriving at their room, Xiotan was already laying in bed, her back facing him with the duvet covering her lower body. He stood there for some minutes before going into the bathroom to take a shower. But actually he knows she's not sleeping, and that only makes him more curious.

After spending few minutes in the bathroom wondering what could have went wrong, he came out in his night ware and gently sit on the bed.

" Tan, what wrong?" he asked gently placing his hand on her shoulder but she didn't reply.

" Tan, come on talk to me" he said his voice ever so calm

" Did I offend you in any way ?, or the money I gave you for shopping isn't enough?...., You didn't even tell me how it went. " He asked but she still didn't reply

" Come on tan, please talk to me"

" Cheng'er please I'm trying to sleep don't disturb me. I told you nothing happened, everything's fine so just let me sleep please" she begged adjusting the duvet to get more comfortable.

" Oh....., Okay. I'm sorry, I will believe what you've said, but you have to give me a kiss before I go to sleep" he asked pouting his lips out like a little kid waiting for Xiotan to give him a kiss but she didn't, he waited for some few minutes but she didn't even look at him.

" Are you already asleep? " He asked but got no reply

" Oh..., You are, that fast I didn't know you would fall asleep that fast. Okay good night." He said giving her a small Peck on her neck before laying down on the bed to sleep.

Xiotan on the other hand open her eyes and tears starts dropping on the pillow beneath.

It true though, what those ladies said was true, cause when he came back she could perceive a lady perfume on him and that actually hurts her. The taught of him being in bed with that filthy lady just gross her up, so he really went to see her, cause when he came he was scenting like a lady and she knows that not how he scents.

She don't actually know why she's crying, but truthfully she felt hurt, so hurt that she wants to scream but she can't. Actually it's her fault, to believe that he's a changed man but she's mistaken they're all bed of the same feather just like her father, so deceitful, disgusting and... and .... argh.
