My attack continued forward, its momentum increasing instead of decreasing. However, it was losing power as it continued further. The latter half had some survivors thanks to the weakening power of the Tidal Wave.

I lightly waved Fatima's blade, about to return her to a sheath, but remembered she didn't have one. Thankfully, nobody noticed my little mishap, so I acted as if I had done nothing wrong.

With the enemies' decreased density and numbers, the remaining eight Exoskeletons could handle them without a problem. The four who ran out of ammo had already retreated to Ember's kingdom, probably to reduce the burden on her mind.
