1 [Volume 1] Chaper 1- Betrayal

In the mansion's nocturnal hush, in the dimly lit room, a girl gracefully rests on a pillar, her black hair soaked in blood.

"Sign it!" With a chilling command, the paper was thrown onto the girl's face. The impact unveiled a reflection of coldness and disgust in her amber eyes.

"Why did you do it so soon?" she questioned, her confusion giving way to a shocking realization. She didn't ask why, but why so soon, knowing all too well what they desired. She looked at the people present with cold, red eyes, blood dropping into them.

"Why do you hate me so much? Aren't I also your daughter?" The girl raised her head lightly and looked at the short-haired middle-aged woman, but her expression remained the same.

When the middle-aged woman heard the girl's words, her face showed a disgusted expression. She came forward, bent down, and grabbed the girl's hair with one hand and her mouth with the other.

"Hah, daughter? You are nothing more than a bug to me. If not for you, my son would not have died." As the woman released the girl's mouth and wiped her hand with a handkerchief.

"Hahahhah."

Amidst the tension, a bitter laugh echoed through the room. People present looked at the source of the voice and found the girl who was laughing at them.

'The response was just as I expected.'

"You..what are you laughing?" The middle-aged woman looked at the girl with some suspicion.

"Hahah."

"I asked why are you laughing, answer me." The woman became frustrated when she didn't get an answer. The girl looked at the woman from up to down, stretched her right leg, put the other leg on it, making a cross, while putting her hand on her mouth and wiping the blood that was flowing from her mouth.

"Hah..ha, how funny right? Even after becoming The big, mighty, Ji family still can't admit their mistake," the girl scornfully remarked. Accusations flew as she continued.

"You always say it's my fault, but do you really not know who it was that pushed him down the stairs and caused his demise?" As the girl was speaking, her smile stopped, and she looked at the woman with utter disgust.

"Yo..u ..what do you mean by that?" The woman became flustered, her face turning red.

"Do you really want me to say?" The girl scoffed at her.

"You," the middle-aged woman feels like her authority has been challenged. She gritted her teeth, but when she saw the girl smiling at her, she became more enraged and raised her hand to hit her.

TOK

"Enough! Is this how you should behave?" An elderly voice interrupted them. When the middle-aged woman heard the voice, she started trembling and looked back.

"Moth..er."

"Oh, here comes our dear old Madam Ji. How are you, old lady?" The girl leaned aside and looked at an old woman with slightly white hair and a walking stick standing five meters away from the middle-aged woman.

"You.. unfilial bitch, is this how you should talk to your elders?" Old Madam Ji looked at the girl with extreme hatred.

PITOOH

Suddenly, Old Madam Ji feels something wet on her face. As she touches her face, her hand becomes stained with saliva mixed with blood. Seeing this, Old Madam Ji becomes more enraged.

"YOU BITCH..".

"Haah, calling me a bitch when you are trying to kill your own granddaughter, Old Madam Ji, I think you need to check your brain," the girl scoffed and looked straight into Old Lady Ji's eyes.

"You bitch, is this how you talk to your elders?" The middle-aged woman shouted at the girl. When the girl saw this, a smile formed on her face.

"Oh dear, so it's true that the kettle is hotter than tea, huh. Madam Ji, don't worry, your turn will also come."

"You."

"ENOUGH," an authoritative voice made everyone present shut up. The woman glared at the girl with gritted teeth. Seeing her like this, the girl gave a mocking smile. Seeing her smile, the woman became more furious. She wanted to grab the girl by the hand and give her some slaps to calm herself down.

"Just sign it soon; it's now your turn to repay our favor for raising you until now," Old Master Ji looked at the girl with cold eyes, making both women also shudder, but not the girl. The girl tapped on the floor with her bloody fingers and looked up with a smirk.

"Haha, you are really funny. Should I repay you for trapping a seven-year-old girl in a hut for the whole winter with only pig food, or should I repay you for sending a ten-year-old child to jail for your crime for nine years?" The girl's smile turned into a cold gaze, making the atmosphere colder than before.

'Hah, do you think you are the only one who knows how to glare?'

"You..." When Old Master Ji looked at the girl with cold eyes, he felt a shiver running through his spine, but he still tried to look calm on the outside. But another word from the girl's mouth made him shocked.

"Oh wow, a new TV, hm, nice," the girl's eyes roamed around and stopped at the living room. Hearing her words, the Ji family felt something wrong, and their prediction came true.

"Well, I also prepared a gift for you. How about turning on the TV?"

The atmosphere tensed as they processed the shocking revelation. Hesitation filled the room as they signaled the woman to turn on the TV. As the screen flickered to life, their faces darkened, their realization came true. The father, outraged, exclaimed,

"How could you betray your own family for fleeting fame? It's a disgrace!"

"Don't worry; there's more." The girl looked at him with a wicked expression as her laughter echoed. Soon all Ji family wrongdoings were on TV.

"We are finished," Father Ji stumbled on the sofa with a defeated expression. Old Master Ji's face also became black. He started to mumble.

"It's finished, Ji Family is done for," as he grabbed his head with both of his hands and looked at the floor.

"Hahahaha," seeing their expression, the girl felt like her hard work has paid off. A laughter echoes in the room. Hearing her laughter, Old Madam Ji became more furious.

"You bitch, I will kill you."

BAM

The old lady hit the girl's head with a cane, blood started to drip down through her head, making the white marble floor stain in red.

'Damn it,' the girl's eyes turned red from blood, her vision started to become blur, and soon she felt like her heart choking.

Amidst the chaos, a sudden noise from the gate diverted their attention.

They turned to see a mysterious figure, veiled in darkness. The police swiftly entered, commanding, "Hands up!"

The family, frightened, dropped their canes and seated themselves on the ground.

As the officers approached the women, their faces contorted with anger and disgust. Questions lingered in the air—how could a family attempt to harm their own child?

The officer turned to check the girl's pulse, discovering she had passed away. Seated by the pillar, a serene smile adorned her
