1 Chapter 1: The prologue

This story is set in a timeline, where both the medival, and the modern worlds exist together, living in harmony

Hi, my name is Akira , I am a boy of a village, located in the Kingdom of Adauwyn, which is ruled by a great king who loves his people.

Everyone in the Kingdom was originally equal, but then a group of people called "The Nobles" made a request to the king to split the Kingdom into different places, each place is to suit the abilities of its people.

The Nobles took the King's Castle and the area around it, The leaders of the Nobles work as advisors for the king, while the Nobles themselves work as Scholars, Magicians, Balance keepers, and Visionaries, basically, they are the people who determine what path our Kingdom will walk into, at least that is what I was told, We are not normally allowed to go into there.

They are not any kind of evil people, in fact, they come around here helping us regularly, one day a rock fell on some miner in the mine, a noble hurried and went there to rescue him, and he did!, the man sustained heavy injuries in his feet, and was about to die however, but thanks to the Noble's healing magic, the man survived to see another day.

The People under the Nobles, are called the Town's folk, they are who does the complicated jobs, such as Woodworks, Metalworks, Trading, Sailing, etc, basically everyone who does something complicated.

Then comes us, the Villagers, we are the people who works as a Farmers, Miners, Lumber jacks, Hunters, etc

I was born in a family of farmers, our work is to grow and harvest crops, then we sell them to get money, so we can afford other basics like clothes, lamps, firewood, etc

As you can tell, my life is pretty simple, but I was in a way, different than the rest?

I hated my job as a farmer, knowing that all my life I am going to work as this!.

and I did love magic, I used to study it at every chance I had.

I also could see some "stuff", others couldn't see, I thought they were some Spirits of the land.

Magic books talked about them, These spirits are like other type of creatures, they wander around the land, and use the essence of nature to help the plants grow,

and considering we are in a farmland everywhere, in this section of the Kingdom, there were a lot of them, so that made sense.

But one thing I was skeptical of, the book mentioned that you needed some special kind of "vision" spell to see them, only the Nobles know of its way to cast, yet I could see them regularly!

So yeah, I am your average "special" village boy, living my life.
