106 The Trial Part 3

--The Nydisian Kingdom, The Castle, The Grand Hall--

When the sun appeared in the sky, barely moments past dawn, Katherine let out a shaky breath. The anxiousness that filled her over the events that would take place today made it impossible for her to sleep.

Today was the day of Lucian's trial, it was no doubt that word had spread of his trial seeing as the castle filled up with guests during the time leading to his trial.

Katherine stood up from the couch on which she had watched the sunrise. She was already dressed so she didn't bother waiting for the maids to bring in her breakfast as she left her room.

At this time, the council had already ordered the guards to bring forth Lucian from the dungeon and into the grand hall, the setting of the trial.
