Chapter 1 The End of a Legend

Rugia Continent, Holy Modou Magedom year 5021 ~

In the highest floor of the Heavenward Mage Tower, a silver haired old man with eyes as bright as the stars excitedly stood up with his hands in the air in front of a desk full of research papers.

"So that's it! HaHaHah!!! After so many years I finally touched the corners! Hahaha I finally understand the secret to Gods might!"

God rank Magic is said to be impossible for mortals to comprehend, let alone cast, but after 300 years of crazy research did the oldest and strongest ArchMage Gandal Heavenlock find a clue to unravel the Gods might. A power said to be so strong that a single God rank Magic could wipe out millions of the strongest Grand knights and ArchMages,

Because Gandal was too excited, his aged body felt weak for a moment and he fell down on the chair.

"Sigh... Too bad it took me so long, I don't have enough time to return to home." Gandal said as he felt weak all over, since Gandal understood a wisp of Gods might, He only needed more time to find a way to travel back to Earth, however time don't wait and Gandal's life is coming to an end.

After all he is a 644 years old man.

Tian Huang was a 22 year old Science genius from the year 2221, he was praised as the second Einstein with his unimaginable and sometimes absurd theories, many which are proven to be real. Until an unfortunate accident happened with an unknown item that ended his life, the next thing he knew, he was reincarnated as the first born of the Heavenlock family in Rugia Continent. His life has always been legendary, at the age of 2 he started reading Magic Tomes and learn elementary Magic, at the age of 5 he became a Great Mage, at the age of 12 Grand Mage he slaughtered a group of Fire Wyvern and at the age of 30 he became the youngest ArchMage in history. From then on his legends only grew.

Feeling his life force fleeting, Gandal write his will, put away a weird object made from unknown material, stand up and walk to the balcony.

Gandal's body get lifted up by the wind around him and he flew to the top of the Heavenward Mage tower. Gandal used his final bit of strength and mustered all the Mana he can and using his understanding of Gods might to cast his final Magic, which is later known as God's Blessing.

"Gaia's Blessing!" A bright green light brightens the sky above the Holy Modou capital city and covers all of Holy Modou Magedom.

Gaia's Blessing is a rank 10 Magic, this Magic will greatly bless and strengthen anyone within a certain range, but is constricted by time. But because Gandal's Gaia's Blessing is cast with a wisp of Gods might and Gandal's all remaining power, it become a semi-God rank Magic, and the blessing becomes eternal. The First semi-God spell is born!!

"What happening?" a panicked pedestrian shout as the strange ethereal lights shine on him.

"My body feels stronger!" affected by Gaia's Blessing a small child with ragged clothing said excitedly.

"Ah wifey! Your skin! You're getting younger." A middle aged man said to his wife with his eyes wide open.

"No! my beautiful fat is shrinking…....."

"My illness that has plagued me for my entire life, it's gone!?!"

"Ah I'm now a Grand Knight!"

"My magic comprehension has become better!"

Multiple reaction came from everyone in Holy Modou capital city.

After casting Gaia's Blessing, Gandal's body slowly dissipated like sand blown by the wind.

5 minutes after the green light disappear, a handsome middle-aged man dressed in a golden robe rushed up the Heavenward Mage tower, this man is the great grandson of Gandal, the current king of the Holy Modou Magedom, he tidied his robe and knocked on the door.

"Great Grandfather!, what is happening?" Hearing that there is no reaction he said again.

"Great Grandfather? Are you awake?"

After a while, he opened the door and seeing that nobody was inside the Research room, he step in the room and saw a will on the desk, the Magic ink used to write this will is still slightly wet.

Seeing this will, the handsome middle-aged man knelled down and tears started to drip down his face, he is not crying only because his Great Grandfather died, but also because his Great Grandfather is the man he respect the most, same for all civilians of Holy Modou Magedom and even from many other Kingdoms.

After all, Who is Gandal Heavenlock? He is the Devil slayer, Demon's bane, Dragon tamer and he is the strongest known ArchMage in the history of Rugia Continent and the man responsible for nearly 500 years of Continental peace, which hasn't happened for nearly 10 millenniums!

Unfortunately even a God-like person loved by all can't withstand the sand of time and his life has come to an end.
