Lira & Mari : Trace of the darkness (part 1)

Morning, Guild hall.

at a wooden rounded shape table in the right corner of the cafe. there are two person who closes each other like a couple. one of them is Lira, a white shade haired man, the younger twin who his eye is focusing on Mari , the girl with black grayish hair and having a pointy dog ear. which resembles to a siberian husky. and he's wondering. why she's coming all the way from seikara empire to this place.

Seikara empire is the place where he left Mari there so she can living on that place peacefully. but he wouldn't ever realized that she would came all the way to here. and she's playing with Lira's hair now which is easily to be done by her who is shorter than him thanks to his habit to lower his neck down if he is thinking out of something.

"Mari" Lira called her and her pointy ear is twitching back and front, wondering who's called her.

her big size of breast is kind of making him lost the focus for a topic. and he kept focus on that instead.

The good thing is, Kiana is on her evening shift today. so she wouldn't know about it.

"Mari.." Lira called her again and she's finally figured out who called her

"yes Lira?" she replied with friendly tone.

"first for all. i'm about to compliment you that you have a nice body. it means, you are living good there" Lira complimented her nicely figured body as he remembered. few years ago when he picked her up. she was skinny and sick. but his consistency and willingness to help her. had healed her bit by bit that to be who Lira seen now.

although they are on same age, but Mari is always treated Lira as her master, always.

"thank you Lira. but without you, i don't know if i can still alive or not" she's replied it happily and widen up her collar a bit so Lira can sees it slightly clearly , the line of shade of her big sized breast.

"thank you for the sightseeing Mari, but since you're here. i wonder if we can go to institute?" Lira ask her in serious tone.

"why you are suddenly wanted to go to there?" Mari asked him back and fixed her dress collar up when Lira started a serious topic.

"i had a mission"

Lira shows up a paper of invited mission, red colored that the words is only able to seen using any metoria.

in Kanshera's guild hall, every master or hero grade adventurer would sometimes acquired a lost mission.

lost mission is a mission that hasn't been done in one hundred years or more which is means that it's not an easy quest.

however by checking the paycheck which is five billion cigs, he is sure that the mission isn't easy. which is about the darkness traces that found everywhere on the institute that Lira had suspected it all along since he took studies as medic there.

"i was wondering about this trace of darkness as well. but i'm not sure if i can do this alone. do you want to join me, Mari?" Lira invited her in friendly tone.

of course as her master, she always says yes to him even it means he asked her for bed stuff that he never once done and asked it to anyone before.

"whenever Lira goes, i will follow you!" Mari replied happily as her black and white colored tail on her butt is wagging .

"okay then. let's head to the next floor of guild hall" Lira asked her to join him and he walked out in fastest way possible from his table, to the wall near the backdoor.

upon arrived to the unusual grey colored brick wall, Lira asked mari to bit his hand to bleed. and she replied yes that she is biting his hand to bleeding.

then, he placed his bleeding hand to the wall which making the wall changed completely that its bricks started to open up for Lira and Mari to be able to come in.

both of them are coming in with an insanely dark place that Mari is clinging to Lira hard as she's afraid to darkness.

but Darkness metoria had affected lira to be able to seen something in the dark. but he will receive a serious damage if he got hit by light metoria user. which is the reason why he was angry with Lex when he was got hit by Lex's light shield.

and as the hallway is ridiculously long they kept walking. and at last, they are finally able to sees the yellow orange bright hall with only one elf raced man wearing black suit sitting in the middle with paperwork anywhere.

"Guild master, I'm in for the mission. but i will ask my partner to join, can I?" lira asked straight to that elf with suit. and he replied "sure, who is that?" that lira answered with "Mari, Siberian Husky Dog Demihuman. Infreno metoria user and a newcomer".

the guild master silenced almost instantly upon heard his statement. and feels astounding that he said this to Lira.

"newcomer and an inferno user? that's one of rarest metoria that even you sold both of your kidney, you wouldn't get it as well. it's an Metoria that you can't buy it with money. just, she's not convincing enough for me to let her assist you for this job. is it ok Lira to doubt her?"

Lira smiled to him.

"she's the winning key of the Titan Lord raid last week. without her, we might lost whole Laira Village that was hard built by your ancestors" Lira answered his doubt up after he's smiled to him.

it made him surprised again. and then he's smiled as he knew that Lira is always allowing him taking his belongings regardless of any price he offer.

but he is a reasonable man, buying and selling stuff with fair price or higher.

"how much you can sell her for me? ten billion? one hundred billion? one trillion ? name your price!"

the guild master is always fighting alone . as his age goes on, he needs a companion now. but a skillful companion like Mari? it's really rare in Kanshera. even they're there, they wouldn't help you as well.

Lira spoke it bluntly that he's not selling any of his comrades. darkness being like demihuman is common to be sell anywhere as partner or slave. but commonly, as a partner as demihuman is an useful partner after all.

"her beauty is on whole new level. besides, you have kiana already right? you need to commit to her you know" he persuade Lira again. but failed as lira replied with "cut the chase, she's not for sell and only my partner. sign us for this mission" that he is sighed in disappointment and took the recently done paperwork for them to let them sign. mari with her left middle finger on left as "signature by partner" and lira on his right middle finger as "signature by contractor". had be scanned by the brown colored paper that is designed for signature of starting the mission and the insurance if they are killed or badly injured. it's also the reason why Lex wouldn't need to paid his hospital expenses, because of it.

"don't forget lira to update me every night. we lost too many master grade adventurer thanks to it. safe return bro" he replied it with wide smile as he had a faith that Lira can resolve it, and Lira waved hand to him.

both of them left the place and get out from the guild hall. heading to the east Laira village.

guild hall located at Laira village that built alongside with some building rounded in one place at middle is a strategical place for every trading merchant to stay and offer the goods there with convenient route to any places around Laira Village through the guild hall as its located in the middle on Laira Village.

"let's go Mari" lira called her to follow him towards a castle like building that seen from faraway on eastern Laira Village.
