Lex's Discovery

A week ago, somewhere in Laira village….

This place is dark and cold, with the sky up there has already painted black, a sign that the night has fallen.

In this place, two hushed voice was sounds out between the two indistinguishable figure, or more accurately to say, a twins.

"Hey Lira" One of them started.

"Do you know that the seven demons had revived from death. Precisely, ten years ago?" He asked his twin brother.

Lira frowned his eyebrows upon that question. "What exactly do you want to talk about when it comes to this topic?" Lira asked him back.

"You know….each one of us was actually sharing the same destiny. But in the end, only one of us, the dragon mortals, who will comes out alive….regardless of him/her being good or evil" Lex said in a grim tone.

"The seven demons themself are in fact, our own dark side. So if we didn't get stronger fast, it'll be only a matter of time before they overtake our body and use our dragon magic to overthrown the Laira Village...or even the Seikara Empire itself" He frowned as he said those.

"If what those clansmen said were on the spot, the first demon that'll appear most likely aim from there first" he hates to admit it, but he has a feeling they were right.

"what do you know about one of them?" Doesn't knowing a thing about this, Lira then asked him in a serious tone

"It is your dark size, Zadkiel" he paused for a second, so Lira could digest what just he said better.

"I heard it from the international armies that she's already started to move. She was being revived first, so beware of her" he adviced.

"...it's just...don't let yourself off guard and let Zadkiel discover you" Lex warned him before leaving the place….vanished.

In the current day...

Lira sat calmly in a cafe while drinking a coffee. On his hand is a piece of news about an attack in Sahara Palace.

"It had been attacked by one of the demons…huh" Lira mumbled as he read the capitalized title on the front.

If he wasn't mistaken, then the Sahara Place should be having it's own dragon mortal. But if the demon attacked it, then…

{It was attacked by the emerged demon of Sahara Palace's dragon mortal} is what written on the newspaper.

"what actually those demons wanted from our power?" lira murmured at his bullseye assumption.

In southern of the Laira Village...

It's a beast Subjugation Mission. The Southern of Laira Village was a vast land for an army training. It has a tent and barracks built everywhere, directed through the barren land towards the neighboring city. They have been tasked to be in here, so they are ready and be able to fight anytime possible.

And for this time, they've hired the guildhall to assign two master grade adventurers to assisted them. But turns out it was a bronze grade adventurer who is a newbie, with the another one was Lex who is a master grade adventurer.

They've been informed that this barren land was the place where the rumored beast will show. And now, Kiana used her elf magic to track her surrounding.

"There is an empty place, apparently. Its size is as huge as half of this land, I believe."

Drawing back her hand, then she drops the bomb "it is a titan lord" Kiana stated when she saw the inconsistent land size around her.

"titan lord….and the unusual metoria leaking…..armies" he mumbled before turning his body to them.

"you have to save yourself from here. This is no longer a master class mission, but a hero class mission!" Lex shouted to them

"What's worng Mr. Richeolot?" In the line, one of the fully armored men asked him.

"no one of you who can defeat it. Call lira in the guild hall, right now!" Lex shouted back at him, making him went panic and hurriedly get on his horse to go to the guildhall.

But unknowingly, things has gotten worse. Lira actually has fallen asleep, and no one noticed it as they were thinking he must be tired after the slugshild subjugation mission

"anyone who is a master grade or hero grade, come with me! We need your help!" the man in armor from before shouted, but there is no one responding.

"sh*t" the man cursed under his breath before leaving the hall and returned to Lex, reporting any information he needs to know at the moment, espicially the one about Lira.

"f*ck!" He cursed out loud.

"Lira... someone must have drugged him. Alright its fine, lets do it ourselves." He convinced himself before turning his head back at the army.

"Alright you guys, go defend the most sensitive areas possible. Also, ask all of the adventurers available to assist you in the task. Payment from Richeolot clan !" Lex commanded everyone as he pulled out his long broadsword from his back, preparing for an attack.

"Kiana, use the lightning metoria as I told you and learn from the situation before you attack" Lex commanded Kiana in a serious tone which she replied with a nod.

Everyone there started to prepare themselves….for a high scaled battle.

"Mari? I need your help" Lex whispered in his mind.

"Mari? she won't made it time lex. We have to found another way!" She suggested.

Kiana was a person who can read someone's mind. And she know especially when Lira had a pinky mind on his brain….she actually knows it all the way. But well, she treated it as she didn't know anything.

"You're right. Seikara empire and Laira village had 600 KM of the road to be walked. Even if we are using horses, we can't make it in time. And that without saying she can't use teleportation magic as well" Lex said with a sigh.

Then Lex proceed to put the focus on his mind. The focus that would scare everyone off around him. But for Kiana here who can read someone's metoria, she isn't staggered at all.

There is radiant light of dragon magic appeared on his body that flowed in high pressure. It was Lex when he is focusing his magic like now. And then, his skin slowly but surely started to change its complexion to a dragon skin-like.

*GRGLGRGLGRGL

A strong earthquake is triggered as a monster started crawling out of the earth. And thus, in the barren land of Southern Laira village, a huge titan who would attack the Laira's village finnaly appear.

"Dragon Magia: light skies impact!"

Lex leaped with a light-speed attack and slam the titan like creature back. As he's started to fall down from the recoil, he used another dragon magic and infused it to his broadsword

"dragon Magia: light skies slash!"

Lex swung his body 180-degree position and slam his broadsword to its foot. But to no avail…

"lightning metoria : thunder!"

"Nice timing" Lex complimented as he was about to get crushed by the titan creature leg, but Kiana managed to disrupt its attack using a blue lightning strike from the skies towards that titan-like monster.

So Lex moved at the same time. He leaped again to its body with his broad sword, then swung the sword midair

"dragon Magia: light skies blade slash!"

He swung his body 90 degrees to its hand and made a spinning slash that knocked it slightly. But the Titan countered the attack to hit Lex with a direct punch that flung him to the land, making him vomit his blood at the impact and almost lost consciousness in the process.

"sh*t. this creature" Lex tried to get up and chant,

"inferno metoria : flamberge!"

The titan received a severe black fire that burnt him, and at the same time,

"inferno metoria : nine star Babylon fire!"

The tower of Babylon-like black fire then locked the titan up.

Out of nowhere, a dog eared woman appear, timely assisted Lex there in his fight with her own magic.

And the story continues.
