9 Treating Xiao Ning'er

Alan turned his gaze away and looked towards Xiao Ning'er.

She had a slim figure and was wearing a short, yellow skirt and a pair of high-heeled boots. Her ginger hair was draped down to her waist. She had bright, clear eyes, curved eyebrows, and long eyelashes that slightly trembled. Her flawless white skin revealed touches of pink, and her delicate lips were like rose petals.

Aside from having a charming feel, she had an indescribable, wild beauty and a cold expression on her face that added a different kind of taste.

"Miss Xiao. I wanted to talk to you," Alan spoke.

Xiao Ning'er glanced at him and asked with a cold expression, "…And what would that be? If it's not important, please don't waste my time."

She didn't have a good impression of the Sacred Family. It was only natural since the Sacred Family had done nothing but wicked things to the Winged Dragon Family.

At this moment, the Sacred Family held the majority of the Winged Dragon Family's property. The Winged Dragon Family was left with their core techniques and mansion. All other things had been seized by the Sacred Family by tricking the Winged Dragon Family.

And even then, the Sacred Family wasn't satisfied and fixed Xiao Ning'er's marriage to Shen Fei. Xiao Ning'er was the sole descendant of the Winged Dragon Family. If she married into the Sacred Family, she would be gifting the rest of the Winged Dragon Family to the Sacred Family.

Alan nodded to Xiao Ning'er's words and handed her a piece of paper. Xiao Ning'er opened that piece of paper, and her eyes widened slightly as she read its contents.

"…H-How do you know that?"

Alan smiled upon hearing that question and answered her, "How I know is a trade secret. But the better question would be if I can treat it. And as written on the paper, I can. So, come to the location at the given time as stated on paper. See ya."

A few seconds later, Alan was gone from the class. He received a notification from Zila soon enough.

He moved to the forest near the Sacred Family. It was the location where he trained the previous day. He would choose a cultivation technique by using up a free point and saving a free point for later.

After he was alone, Alan spoke out to Zila, "Give me the best cultivation technique in the system."

'The best technique in the system is known as the Heavenly God Technique. This technique allows the host to possess several folds of strength as compared to other cultivators at the same rank. You can fuse with 7 different spirits of different elements and use them at the same time. The only defect is that it requires much greater energy to cultivate as compared to techniques of the same rank and it requires Red Soul.'

"I see. What will happen if I use the Celestial Points to cultivate? Will it require more Celestial Points compared to other techniques?"

This was the key point. If it required more Celestial Points, Alan planned to pass on this technique.

However, Zila responded to him instantaneously, 'The Celestial Points belong into a much higher tier of energy. The Heavenly God Technique would need the same number of points as any other technique.'

"Alright. I choose the Heavenly God Technique!" Alan decided.

He soon gained all sorts of information regarding the Heavenly God Cultivation Technique. His Soul Force changed significantly as if to transform according to the requirements of the Heavenly God Technique.

'Let's cultivate now.'

Alan cultivated for an hour and his Soul Force effortlessly broke through to the 1 Star Bronze Rank.

It was only natural since the Heavenly God Technique was a much superior technique than the Sacred Family's cultivation techniques.

Alan halted his cultivation because it was the appointed time. He opened his eyes and saw Xiao Ning'er heading towards him.

He waited until Xiao Ning'er was close enough and questioned her, "You are here. This means you want me to treat you, right?"

"En," Xiao Ning'er nodded slowly. The slip that Alan handed her stated the symptoms of her illness and the method to treat it.

The fact that Alan knew so much about her illness intrigued and terrified her. But she was still wanted to deal with this illness and made up her mind to visit Alan and get it treated.

Along the way, Xiao Ning'er had thought about it many times. She wasn't sure if she should trust someone from the Sacred Family. However, Alan had mentioned on the slip that if she continued to train, her body would explode sooner or later. This wasn't what she wanted at all and decided to bite the bullet and appear before Alan.

Xiao Ning'er did bring a dagger with her and would immediately use it if Alan tried to take advantage of her.

The amused smile on Alan's face disappeared and he had a serious look, "Show me the affected area."

"There is one here."

Xiao Ning'er dropped her guard for a moment and pointed at the back of her foot. There was a patch of deep purple on the top of one of Xiao Ning'er's feet.

Alan crouched down and grabbed her foot. Before Xiao Ning'er could say anything, Alan brought his other hand forward and started to press the purple patch with two fingers: index and second index finger.

"Ah!" Xiao Ning'er couldn't help but moan out.

"…Endure this. I promise it will be okay soon," Alan spoke as he continued to massage the patched spot using Daoyin Technique.

Xiao Ning'er blushed madly as she had just let out an embarrassing moan. But her mind couldn't think about it for much longer as she experienced even greater pain.

Soon, the intense pain was replaced by the warmth of Alan's hand entering her foot. After a while, there was the feeling of hot ants drilling into her foot, making her itch, which was replaced with a blissful numbness. Xiao Ning'er couldn't help letting out a little 'ah', which made her endlessly bashful.

That bruise had been there for about six to seven months now. Over time, she would feel terrible pain from it. Xiao Ning'er had been enduring the pain with her willpower this whole time. However, no matter how much she persevered, the pain had been torturing her all this time.

She felt the pain that has been torturing her all this time was alleviated a lot. She couldn't help as her eyes turned watery. No one knew how hard it was to bear the pain. Every night, she would secretly cry.

It was still daytime, and the trees couldn't block the sunlight completely. Alan's face was clear, and his serious expression sent ripples off in Xiao Ning'er's heart.

After some time, Alan spoke out to her seriously, "Done."

"Take some rest for the next few days and you should be fine."
