3 Transmigration

Alan was finally face to face with the Celestial Immortal. They were seated in one of the chambers of the Golden Palace. There was a table between them, and the two sat facing each other.

"It would be nice to have some beer over this discussion," Alan offhandedly spoke.

Suddenly, two pints of Corona appeared ahead of him. He didn't think at all and opened one of them with his teeth before proceeding to gulp it down in one go.

"Alright, I know you did this to leave a favorable impression on me, and I got to say, you are doing a fine job at it," Alan spoke with a grin.

Meanwhile, the Celestial Immortal had a rather somber face as he spoke, "Alright, let's talk business now."

"You see, the world I am sending you is known as the Tiny World. You will be transmigrated into a 13-year-old youth. The people of this world practice martial arts and cultivate special energy known as the Soul Force. Soul Force is the power that allows you to perform superhuman tasks," The Celestial Immortal explained.

"This world also has Inscription Pattern, which is specific patterns written or drawn through Beast Blood and infused with soul force or a law. You can enchant your weapons or armors with this Inscription Pattern, use them in battle, and even arrays. Well, you will learn more after I transmigrate you to that realm."

"There is also known as Alchemy. It's similar to chemical reactions in your world. It's just that a lot more magical forces are at play here," The Celestial Immortal lazily gave an explanation regarding the Alchemy.

"I see…" Alan spoke with a deadpan look as he heard the Alchemy's description. He felt as though this Celestial Immortal was really irresponsible and left out a lot of vital information.

"Now, there are a lot of artifacts in the world that have their specific purpose. The artifact you have to acquire is known as the Temporal Demon Spirit Book. The one who holds it can become the master of the entire Spacetime. This means you can control space as well as time. This book contains innumerable ancient skills, so I need you to acquire them. I won't take this book from you, but I will ask for a single thing in this book. Just lend it to me for some time. That's your job," The Celestial Immortal spoke.

With a serious expression, he quickly added, "A man named Nie Li has used the Temporal Demon Spirit Book to turn back time and become its master. You must steal this Temporal Demon Spirit Book from him."

"Nie Li has trained for nearly millions of years in the Temporal Demon Spirit Book. His knowledge of Inscription Patters, Alchemy, and Techniques could be considered equal to mine. It will be hard for you to defeat him with your current skillset no matter how hard you train. This is why I granted you a gift. It will bridge the gap between you and Nie Li."

"What is this gift?" Alan asked since he was curious what this Celestial Immortal chose for him that could bridge the gap between him and someone who had trained for millions of years.

"It's an automated system designed to help you take down Nie Li. You can tweak it to your wishes, but the main objective cannot change."

Alan remained quiet after hearing these words.

The Celestial Immortal asked him with a slight frown, "…Why are you silent? You should ask whatever doubt you have in mind."

"You aren't telling me the whole story. If I am to accomplish this mission, you must give me complete information about this job," Alan spoke seriously.

The Celestial Immortal was relieved that Alan didn't reject his job. He soon began speaking, "I want to find the creator of the Temporal Demon Spirit Book for a certain reason. And I need a skill he left behind in the Temporal Demon Spirit Book to accomplish that."

Alan finally nodded and spoke, "Alright. This is more like it. You can now send me to this other world."

"Hmm? Are you really sure you are ready for the job?" The Celestial Immortal asked while raising his brows.

"Immortal, if you truly saw my life, you should have seen that I never lose. This time will be no different. I will be here soon, and we will have a nice long chat about it," Alan spoke a bit arrogantly.

"…Very well. I will transmigrate you into a guy whose destiny is to go up against Nie Li. Your soul will fuse with this individual's soul, and you will gain all his memories. It will be easier for you to fit in. I just hope you don't lose against this soul. Otherwise, you might lose yourself forever," The Celestial Immortal spoke.

Alan snorted in response before retorting, "You have a rather short-term memory, Immortal. I always win!"

As soon as he spoke that, his soul disappeared from that Golden Palace. The Celestial Immortal Book that Alan's real body was holding on Earth also disappeared.

Alan was transmigrated by none other than Shen Yue, the young master of the Sacred Family of the Glory City! Enormous information flowed through Alan's soul, and he had to do his best to endure all that pain.

After an excruciating three hours of this torture, Alan was relieved as the pain ended. However, he lost consciousness shortly after.

This was because his soul was digesting all that information it had received in the last three years.

Alan had just seen nearly 13 years' worth of information within three hours. It made sense that his soul couldn't digest all that information immediately.

Nearly a day later, Alan regained his consciousness. His soul had perfectly fused with Shen Yue's soul while maintaining complete control of it. Shen Yue's soul did affect his personality a tiny bit, but he could easily deal with that.

A sweet female voice resounded in his head, 'Congratulations, Alan. You have successfully transmigrated into Shen Yue's body.'

Alan remained calm as he asked, "And who is this?"

'The automated system my master was talking about,' The female voice resounded in his head soon.

"I see…" Alan spoke with a slight smile.
