Many representatives stood up or walked out of the courtyard. They surrounded the two sides of the forest path and stopped to watch.

Mu Lee froze as he heard Lin Lingtian's words.

" My young friend, words have power in them."

" And."

" You shouldn't say something like that."

Lin Lingtian smiled as he released a fraction of his aura that brought Mu Lee to his knees.

" Why can't I say the truth ?"

Mu Lee's face was covered in sweat as his mind was racing.

He had destroyed the entire Phaseless Sect yet not a single Martial Ancestor showed up even the best was the just a mere Dao of Dragon realm expert.

Something about this place felt off.

The bodies of the fallen disciples began to twist and turn as they scurried away like arachnids.

" Why did you destroy our home ?"

The comedically creepy disciples spoke in one voice as they called out to Lin Lingtian who did bother replying.

That golden liquid contained eggs of a demon beast.

Did a demon beast take control over the Phaseless Sect?

Lin Lingtian thought as he covered his fingers in the power of madness which touching the golden liquid that exploded.

Lin Lingtian analyzed the telepathic signal that he had cut off.

This demon beast was unique, it had used it's children to infect the minds of humans slowly by acting as parasites.

The entire Phaseless Sect was like a hive mind because of this demon beast.
