At his words, Gu Lan's heart trembled and she couldn't help but tighten her hand. The symptoms that Lin Lingtian had just described were exactly as she'd felt them.

She didn't know what to say as she could feel it , her illness was gone. She was no longer handicapped.

Lin Lingtian just nodded as he locked onto Gu Bei's location.

Gu Lan pondered for a brief moment before she found a topic to talk about. "I wonder where sir came from?"

"Oh? So you're from the Tiny World." Gu Lan's voice paused as she continued on, "When I was young, I had a teacher who was also from the Tiny World."

Lin Lingtian curiously asked, "I wonder, what's the name of that teacher of yours?"

"My teacher never revealed his real name and appeared and disappeared as he wished. I also have no idea where he is now. He could reappear anytime." Gu Lan bitterly smiled as she shook her head, "That teacher of mine hasn't shown himself for five years now. Otherwise, I wouldn't have landed myself in this situation. Gu Bei looked up only to be back-handed by Lin Lingtian.

Gu Lan meanwhile just sweat dropped as she awkwardly saw her brother get beat up by his supposed master.

" M...Master , please stop ,what has this disciple done to inquire such wrath."

Lin Lingtian stopped and sighed at Gu Bei's words before said ," Have one of your servants tell the announcer that you are substituting?"

" But ... "

" Now ! "

" Yes ."

Gu Bei bowed his head to Lin Lingtian but he suddenly felt a soft hand brushing his hair as he looked up only to find his once sick and paralyzed sister smiling at him.

Realizing that his sister was without her wheel chair , Gu Bei's mind blanked for a second before his sister said ," It's thanks to master Lin that I am fine."

A teary eyed Gu Bei glanced at Lin Lingtian who just said ," Are you going or not ?"

" Yes .... Yes ! Master ."

" Please don't be so harsh on my brother , Master Lin."

" Whatever ."

" Master Lin , may I ask who is substituting with my brother in the match ?"

" I am ."

A crowd had gathered in the stadium as the announcement of the battle between two members from the Gu Clan and Dragonseal Clan were fighting.

Long Yuyin's finance , Hu Long , stood beside Long Tianming and Gu Heng.

Members of the Gu Clan were taking quite an interest in this battle who supported Gu Heng as it meant that if Gu Bei loses this fight then his position in the family would decrease even more.

But suddenly they saw someone walk towards the announcer who said ," EVERYONE ! IT LOOKS LIKE YOUNG MASTER GU BEI HAS COME UP WITH AN ILLNESS AND HE CANNOT FIGHT BUT TO NOT WASTE THE TIME OF ANYONE HE WILL BE SUBSTITUTED BY ANOTHER FIGHTER !"

The news caused a ripple in the audience who began to insult Gu Bei but many of them where not interested in getting to see someone else get beaten by Long Yuyin.

Speaking of her , Long Yuyin just clicked her tongue as she found that the loofer Gu Bei was an even more of a coward then she had initially expected.

The doors of Gu Bei's side opened revealing a masked man with long silver hair while wearing nothing but a black jumpsuit, his face was concealed by a mask and in his hands was a wooden sword.

Many of the audience snorted at the substitute as alot of people erupted there aura to deter the substitute who wasn't effected at all.

Lin Lingtian in his costume started at Long Yuyin silently as the referee called the match to start.

Long Yuyin glared at her opponent as she felt a frigid feeling came from her opponent that left her feeling cold.

A swordsman heading into the battlefield.

Gu Bei couldn't take his eyes off Lin Lingtian as if he was possessed; he felt that something extraordinary was about to happen.

And at that moment

Lin Lingtian's sword moved slowly.

The sword that began moving from above slowly descended until it was brought back to its original form.

Gu Bei couldn't breathe as he saw this scene.

Lin Lingtian was now displaying the initial form of the Gu Clan's swordsmanship that he had shown him a few moments ago.

The initial form was a greeting and courtesy to inform the opponent that he was ready to begin. But now, Gu Bei felt as if he was being sucked into that otherwise simple movement.

This wasn't something that was being shown to the opponent. It was meant for Gu Bei. From now on, he would be using the Gu Clan's swordsmanship, so he was asking Gu Bei to pay attention.

"Don't miss it."

Gu Lan shouted unconsciously towards her brother.

"Don't miss a single one of Master Lin's moves! Never! Don't even blink; just watch him!"

Gu Bei didn't reply as he was so engrossed in Lin Lingtian's beautiful display of Swordsmanship.

Truly the hands of the War God Lin Lingtian were something else.

Long Yuyin's charged forward ready to end this battle as she couldn't sense Lin Lingtian's power meaning his cultivation was beneath her in her mind but that was the last mistake she had done.

Yet, she couldn't find a single gap between those movements.

In the end, Long Yuyin was unable to keep up with the change in movements, and her palm attack was deflected away. As his sword rose into the sky, Long Yuyin stared at Lin Lingtian's sword as it keenly slashed for her head.
