Xiao Ning'er searched the underground palace as she came across many dead ends but as she pushed on the stone wall Infront of her a stone chamber appeared .

Within the stone chamber, there's a staircase

connecting upwards. However, the exit had been blocked by some huge stones, and behind it came a burst of tinkling sounds.

There should be someone trying to break

open the entrance.

[ Outside of the Underground palace ]

Nie Li stood beside a couple of black gold rank experts from the Alchemist Association and the Snow Wind Family .

Nie Li was feeling something was off like he was being watched . Even though he hadn't heard any demon beast every since coming to the ancient orchid ruins it was normal that those demon beast would stay out of the path of a group with a couple of black gold ranks but now he didn't know why but he was having a feeling of impending danger .

" Nie Li , are you sure about this ? " Ye Ziyun asked him .

Last night , her grandfather had a long conversation with Nie Li and out of curiosity she asked him .

Nie Li had revealed that there was a hidden treasure in the Ancient Orchid Ruins and her grandfather had told her to also go with Nie Li to the ancient orchid ruins .

Ye Ziyun didn't know why but she had a feeling that they were being watched .

[ Underground palace ]

" hmm , so people from Glory City are coming into the underground palace ." Xiao Ning'er asked the extremely handsome green hard humanoid .

The Temporal Qilin in it's humanoid form nodded and asked ," Miss Xiao Ning'er , May I teach those ants a lesson for trespassing into the territory of the one and only WAR GOD ! "

Xiao Ning'er rolled her eyes and said ," No .... leave them be for now ."

Xiao Ning'er gazed upon the Stone Chamber .

This place was filled with all sorts of bronze

and silver armours. There are even a large

amount of inscription scrolls, demon crystals, furs and horn-type materials. It was

also full of precious metals and piles of gold coins, which was naturally the currencies of the Sacred Empire.

There are also many unknown valuables which should be precious treasures of the Sacred Empire.

Xiao Ning'er's gaze fell onto a stone platform. At the top of the platform, a lamp was blinking with light, and the light was filled with mystery.

Picking up a bone tooth anklet from the pile of treasures , Xiao Ning'er concluded it belonged to a legend rank demon beast .

' This could be of use to Lin Lingtian , he could make it a demon blood seal from this .'

She raised her hand as the Shadow Devil Spirit lamp floated towards her .

The huge stone wall next to the huge boulder had opened an entrance. Dazzling light shot into the chamber, Nie Li and bunch soon filled the place.

"It's you !" Nie Li exclaimed , stunned for a moment when he saw Xiao Ning'er standing there with what he presumed was the shadow devil spirit lamp . He never imagined that Xiao Ning'er would be the first thing they came upon after entering the underground palace .

Nie Li blinked and Xiao Ning'er was gone from his vision .

" Ye Ziyun , I didn't get to say this last time but thank you ."

Hearing that Nie Li's eyes turned to see , Xiao Ning'er standing beside Ye Ziyun who was frozen in shock .

" GET AWAY FROM HER ! " Nie Li screamed as his short sword made it's way towards Xiao Ning'er .

But his hand stopped mid way as his arm forcefully turned in a different direction .

( ~ AHH ~ ) Nie Li grunted as his head jerked back forcefully it way as if he had lost control of his body .

Xiao Ning'er held her pointer finger and middle finger up as black Lightning discharged from time to time as Nie Li and all the experts from the Alchemist Association and Snow Wind Family were held in the air , with Xiao Ning'er using her electromagnetic field to control the iron in the blood of everyone there .

Xiao Ning'er didn't even glance at them as she continued to smile at the shaking Ye Ziyun who was feeling a primal fear from the Heavenly Lightning dancing in Xiao Ning'er's fingers .

" Ye Ziyun ." Xiao Ning'er called out as she saw her obediently look up , her eyes showed fear .

Xiao Ning'er sighed but before she could continue as she of danger filled her .

Turning into a bolt of lightning , Xiao Ning'er disappeared and reappeared a few meters away .

She gazed at Nie Li standing protectively over Ye Ziyun in his demon spirit form .

Nie Li's aura had changed from a 3 star gold rank to a 4 star black gold rank as he had entered into his demon spirit form " The Ghost Bone Chaos Dragon " . Ye Mo had given him this demon spirit the previous night and with ancient Technique he had found in a ruins in the Draconic Ruins Realm he had raised this demon spirits growth rate from extraordinary to God / Divine Growth . Nie Li knew that using that ancient Technique was a one time use if he failed to raise the growth rate then even if a mutation occured the demon spirit would not be able to raise its growth rate luckily he was lucky in not only refining a demon spirit with a god level growth rate but also a demon spirit with a dragon bloodline .

Nie Li's jade green hair twisted and turned as an emerald flame flickered around him . Nie Li's elf like face showed a serious expression as he was on high alert against Xiao Ning'er .

Remembering her weird Technique of controlling his blood , Nie Li rushed forward .

In the middle of his sprint , Nie Li jumped back as he felt a danger from the.place he was at .

The ground cracked revealing sickle and chain floating in the air .

Caught of guard for a moment , Nie Li had made a mistake of taking his eyes of her .

Xiao Ning'er smiled as she saw Nie Li held in the air , struggling to fight against her electromagnetic control of his blood .

' My Lord , It is done .' Getting a telepathic message from Bezalel , Xiao Ning'er nodded but frowned as she felt herself lose control over the metal inside Nie Li's blood .

Nie Li's eye widened as he saw his attack disappear . Xiao Ning'er had used her electromagnetic field to absorb the charged particles of the emerald flame .

The air around Xiao Ning'er began to get warmer as lances of plasma formed all around her .

Nie Li's body flew the air at high speed impacting the stone wall and forming quite a dent in it's structure .

( ~ Cough ~ )

Nie Li spewed out a mouth full of blood as he thought of where the black gold rank experts were ?

Looking to the side , a chill went down Nie Li's spine as he saw what looked like a black armour male with purple flames covering many body parts sitting on the knocked out bodies of all the black gold experts that came along with him . Nie Li could sense that humanoid was a legend rank .

The weight of the current situation finally settled in.

Nie Li looked at Xiao Ning'er , she had not even entered into her demon spirit form but what confused him why was she so powerful ? Nie Li didn't know it but he was fighting against a true Cultivator .

Nie Li tried to claw at the chain which had wrapped around his neck and was strangling him .

Being held in the air , Nie Li channeled soul force as his flames become more and more hotter .

Xiao Ning'er's eyes turned as saw Lin Lingtian admiring the pile of treasure .

" L....Lin ."

" Hmm ."

Seeing Xiao Ning'er body shake in fear as her she was on her knees . Lin Lingtian looked at his hands as the murderous aura of lævateinn that was releasing from his body began to get more and more suppressed

" Sorry ." Lin Lingtian awkwardly smiled as he helped Xiao Ning'er up .

" No .... ( Huff ) problem " Xiao Ning'er leg " tripped " as she kinda hugged Lin Lingtian with her head colliding with his chest .

Lin Lingtian didn't focus on Xiao Ning'er who was still hugging him as he snapped his fingers .

Infront of Nie Li's eyes , the treasure of ancient orchid ruins, Lin Lingtian and Xiao Ning'er disappeared from his view .

Nie Li didn't know it but he had held his breath , while remembering Lin Lingtian's aura his hands shook in fear .
