6 Chapter 6

Turning around I left the Training Ground gates. How I pulled 100,000 demon spirit coins out my ass, I just made some when I had time. Same as the ring. The World Devouring Chaos Technique was very useful. I didn't have to do much to make demon spirit coins. The only reason why I didn't make more was because I could always make more when needed. Good to save space in my ring. I still had another 100,000 stashed away in my interspacial ring.

I went back to my hut and just sat down. I went over the Arctic Disease and the Daoyin Technique. After reviewing I then practicing the technique. I had to imbue my fingers in Soul Force precisely. I took me a minute but I got it down. I then practice adjusting it's power. I waved my finger around as it glowed a dark blue.

After I learned how to control it better, I had to learn how to use it on the body. I stopped imbuing my fingers with Soul Force and again researched in my library. This time about acupuncture points, meridians, muscles in the body and more. This learning and practicing session went on for three days. After my three day training arc I was satisfied. I was confident that I could start treating Xiao Ning'er.

I got up and left my hut. About ten minutes later I arrived at the same spot both Xiao Ning'er and I had met. She hadn't arrived yet so I just sat down and cultivated.

It's been a couple days since I cultivated but I don't necessarily have to cultivate thanks to the World Devouring Chaos Technique. Because of it, my body naturally takes in surrounding energy and cultivated by itself. Although it would be a lot faster if I did cultivate willingly instead of autonomously.

Cultivating, I was taking a look at my Soul Sea. I wanted to check in the sapling that was in my soul Sea. Looking at it, it seemed to have blossomed, greatly at that. It was now a small tree with some flowers on it. Cherry Blossoms. It was a Cherry Blossom Tree. Beautiful.. I thought. I felt majestic and magical under the influence of Soul Force. It was small and seemed to be able to grow even more. The amount of energy it ate was clearly more now but I didn't feel any weaker. It was probably due to my cultivation technique.

"lu… lu… hello, Lu…" a voice was calling.

I opened my eyes and noticed that Xiao Ning'er had arrived.

Lu: Hey.

Xiao Ning'er: Sorry, did I disturb your cultivation?

Lu: No you didn't, you're good. Did you bring the herbs?

"Ah yes," she said as she brought out the herbs and handed it to Lu.

Lu thanked her and then started making some medicine with the herbs. After a minute he poured the medicine he had made out of a kettle and into a cup. It was like tea, it was much easier to consume this way. He handed it to Xiao Ning'er.

Lu: I'll teach you how to make it. Drink it twice a day for the next 10 days and you should be fine.

Xiao Ning'er: Okay, thank you.

She continued to drink the cup until she had finished.

Lu: Next thing, I didn't tell you yet but I need to get rid of those bruises you should have gotten from the Arctic Disease.

Xiao Ning'er gave a confused expression and asked, "does the medicine not do that already.

Lu shook his head and told her that he needed to use a different method to get rid of the bruising.

Xiao Ning'er: How do you get rid of the bruises?

Lu: I need to use the Daoyin Technique. It requires me to touch you. It's like a massage. Only if you are okay with it though.

"I'm okay with it. Do it." She said firmly. "You are the only person that can help me. I trust you."

Xiao Ning'er was determined to get better in order to become strong and escape her arranged marriage with Shen Fei. This was why she was willing to trust Lu.

Lu: Okay. Please show me where the bruises are, one by one and I'll treat them right away.

Listening to Lu, she started showing where the bruises on her body were and Lu got straight to work.

Midway through treating her, Lu noticed that she started to blush. I guess her poker face wore off. She was still of course a bit shy and flustered from Lu's touch. She was also in pain from the treatment but she endured it. Lu started touching more revealing areas which caused Xiao Ning'er to become more flushed but she endured.

After about an hour Lu finished treating her. All of her bruises were gone. Xiao Ning'er was sweating and panting a lot but after some time she composed herself. Lu was no different as he was slightly fatigued from the concentration he had to have. Not only to accurately tend to Xiao Ning'er but to avoid taking glances at her. She was a beauty after all. Generally speaking, they could get married right now. But Lu wanted to take it slow.

After the two had cooled off and gotten some energy back they both got ready to leave.

Xiao Ning'er: Lu, thank you very much. I am indebted to you for your kindness.

Lu: No problems. Oh here, this is for you.

As Lu said that he took out a scroll. The contents of the scroll was a powerful cultivation technique that perfectly suited Xiao Ning'er. It surpassed any technique Nie Li had in his arsenal.

Lu: Do NOT share this with anyone, ever, under any circumstance at all. I trust you with this.

Xiao Ning'er opened the scroll and read the contents for a couple seconds before she immediately sat down. Her aura flared as she showed signs of having a breakthrough. In the next second she broke through. She was now a 1 Star Bronze.

Xiao Ning'er: Oh my gosh Lu. This..

She was too starstrucked to speak.

Xiao Ning'er: This is so powerful. Where did you get this.

Lu: No need to ask, just know that this belongs to you now. Just keep it a secret for me.

Lu winked as he said the last part. Xiao Ning'er started to cry. After everything she has endured since she was little. Lu has cured her and given her a guaranteed successful path for her future. She felt truly indebted to him. She slightly developed feelings for him. But maybe it was just a deep sense of gratitude.
