Cheat Skill
I woke up from a dreamless sleep. There was a green paste put to my wounds. It smelled terrible. I guessed Ragnag were the one put it to my wounds. Since all my wounds were healed maybe I should thank him. I looked at the spear beside me. It was still here. It didn't vanished as other javelins I created using magic. I grabbed it. It fit my hand perfectly. I played around with it for a minute. Slashing and thrusting it. Even though I was new to weapons it felt natural. I stepped outside my tent. They must have carried me here. I found Ragnag.
"I will now leave. Call lizardman."
Even though I didn't cared to much about them I couldn't just leave them like this. I killed their strongest member. If I left now they would run into chaos. I gathered all three races important members. Using Contract I created a contract.
1. All three races are now under Nox the Demon. They will obey his every order.
2. 3 races will not fight each other as long as they are under Nox.
3. They will share and cooperate.
4. Each race will try to get stronger.
That was the contract I created. No objections came out and everyone agreed to it. I thought they would be several problems but nothing happened. It is good for me so I have no problems.
"Now I am going. Maybe we will meet again." I waved my hand. They also waved and wished me good journey. What great guys. I stepped to 9th floor. Unlike a green forest I saw when I got into 10th floor in this floor I met with a gothic castle.
"Minerva would love here if she saw it."
It fit her tastes. Except the huge dog like creature growling to me. Looking more closely I realized that it was a werewolf. It growled to me and tried to break its leash.
"Are you guard dog of this floor?"
"Rargghhhhhhhh!"
I smiled. I reached my spear towards it.
"Come on puppy. I'll take you out for a walk!" Angered it broke its chain and rushed towards me. I got ready to thrust my spear. At the same time a message popped in front of me.
(Digestion complete. Skills are given.)
A sharp pain took over my body.
"Are you kidding me?" I complained as I missed my chance to strike werewolf and it sweep down on me.

Can you wait until I finish killing this mutt! I opened my mouth and spew out flames. While I wondered what the fuck is going on werewolf whimpered and got off me. "Ability steal" is what came to my mind. But I got annoyed. I filled my spear with magic power and threw it to werewolf. It opened a hole in its body and it died. I opened my hand and spear came flying back. I looked at it with wide eyes.
"What the fuck are you?"
I asked to my spear. Not suprisingly it didn't answered my question. Figures. I looked at my skills.
(Devourer of Beasts skill allows you to absorb one beast type of enemy. After digesting it you have a chance to gain its skills. You currently have 10 days of cooldown.)
(Corruptive Evolution allows you to corrupt one skill you have and evolve it. This skill doesn't have any levels and will be lost after evolving three skills.)
Both of them looked strong. They had some restrictions but it didn't change the fact that they were strong. I looked at my skills. Should I just evolve them now? I didn't even used my skill points just in case if I needed them. Should I just use them? What if I save them only to die in a battle because I was stingy using it? I looked at Devourer of Beasts. With 10 days of cooldown I could use it 5 more times before I my time here ran out. While getting 5 more skills looked amazing would it be enough? I had to face against a S ranked paladin and countless priests and even adventurers.
"I use it on Devourer of Beasts."
(Skill Devourer of Beasts is evolving with the effect of Corruptive Evolution… Devourer of Beasts evolved to active skill Never-Ending Gluttony: Devourer.)
(Never-Ending Gluttony: Devourer grants you ability to absorb and assimilate one enemy a day. You can either chose to absorb their skills or you can chose to keep their core in your body to use later.)
"Use later? How?"
(You can grant others thing you absorbed. Or you can combine them with other enemies you absorbed.)
Once a day and ability to chose them. Also no digestion period. I tried to use it again to evolve this skill again but…
(Once a skill is evolved using Corruptive Evolution you cannot use it again to evolve that skill.)
"But can I use another kind of skill to evolve that same skill?"
(Yes.)
So that means that its growth isn't stopped. I wanted to use it to evolve another skill but I stopped myself.
"Other floors have stronger monsters, right?"
(Yes.)
That meant that they probably had even more stronger skills than I had now. If I absorbed them with Gluttony and evolved them…
"Things are looking better."
Now I had full faith that I could save her. I looked at the werewolf. Should I just use it? I probably wouldn't find the boss in first day. So using it probably would was the right call.

A body reinforcement skill. Other than Wrath I didn't had that kind of ability and Wrath had a time limit so I was happy. I looked up and saw more werewolves. I used the new skill I got. My bones lenghtened and my muscles swell. I felt my claws and fangs growing. It was painful. It was almost as painful as the time I was cut down by holy sword. But when my transformation ended I was 20 cm taller, more muscular and more feral looking. Seeing my form werewolves growled to me. I jumped towards them. Creating magic circles at the same time I cut down or bombarded them with magic. Just in less than a minute I killed the pack of werewolves.
"This is intoxicating."
The sense of power and omnipotence were overwhelming. I looked at my missing arm.
"Calm your horses Nox. A mistake and what is gone can be your head."
Breaking the gate I stepped to castle garden. Even though I called a garden it was barren. Only one dead tree decorated entire front part of it. Ground were a disgusting tone of brown. I looked at the insectoid looking monsters. Seeing me I started to crawl towards me. They looked a mix between a fly and a tick.
"This castle has a serious infestation problem. But you don't need to worry…"
I put my magic power to my spear. I also get ready to use my fire breath if they jumped at me.
"Exterminator is here!"
While I cringed my own sense of humor I cleared insects. While clearing them I got closer to dead tree. While I was busy killing them a branch came to alive and smacked me. With unexpected hit I lost my balance and fell. Those bugs didn't lost a swarmed on top off me. From what I thought to be their mouths come out long, thin, red tongues. At least I hoped that they were tongues. Please be tongues. They tried to pierce me with those tongues. I used Wrath and threw them off me. When I got up tree tried to hit me again. I broke its branches. It was same type of tree I saw in Hell. Spewing flames from my mouth I burned it.

That was embarrassing. Let's hope that Voice doesn't record my movements. If she did I would die due embarrassment. Destroying everything in the garden I stood in front of castle's actual door.
"Should I just knock?" I was going insane. I kicked the door. While it flew open easily I realized that I was getting slightly tired.
(Skill Beastification became level 2.)
So it is the culprit. It increased my physique it also increased my energy consumption. Similar to Fury. I deactivated it. My body returned to normal, painfully. I grunted in pain. No wonder werewolves looked angry. They regularly had to feel this kind of pain.
"From now on I also…"
Everytime I used it I would taste the same pain.
"Life is pain. It is better to get used to it."
That was the my outlook. Only alive beings could feel pain. Pain was a sign that you were alive. So as long as you wanted to live you also would feel pain. Rather than bitching about it I would rather used to it. It was that simple.
