Jefferson

The teenager with the sharp silver teeth initially looked confused at Lucas, but soon afterward a wide grin spread across his face. His laugh was very wide, his lips almost touching her ears. The expression 'smiling from ear to ear' has never been more literal than it is now.

"So would you like a special weapon…maybe custom?" Though his words were calm and spoken slowly, his tone of voice and expression conveyed a deep sense of anxiety and ecstasy. His eyes also gave in to his thoughts, glowing with a metallic light, his arousal spilling over from everywhere.

Lucas was startled taking half a step back, his surprise was undeniable, he wasn't afraid when he saw Jefferson's metallic teeth, however when this boy smiled, a dense aura expanded from him and focused on Lucas, who in turn felt danger, one that should not be underestimated.

He didn't quite understand what was going on, but he soon sharpened his mind and concentrated, responding in a sweet, friendly voice:

"I don't know exactly what I need, there are a lot of things here, maybe I'll find something."

The pressure released by Jefferson receded, his countenance returned to normal, and his eyes lost their luster. Lucas realized this and as he did not want to offend or disappoint anyone, he soon resumed his speech:

"Well, if you can't find anything, I'll need you for that, okay?"

Jefferson regained some gleam in his eyes when he listened, of course, not to the same degree as before.

"Sure! Come on, I'll show you some and see if you like it." He started walking across the balcony and pointing at guns on the wall, giving a brief description of each.

"This sword here is good for quick and precise cuts…" He pointed to a short sword of about 40 centimeters of silver color, it was a double edged blade and with a very simple hilt. After giving a few more details, he moved on to another item when he saw that his customer didn't react very well.

"This stick here has this thorn in the end that gives it the punching power…" He spent the next two hours showing off almost every product his store had. With each new item shown, Lucas didn't know where to hide his surprise and admiration. There were axes, spears, bows, halberds and gloves of all kinds and shapes. He had been impressed before with this variety of types of weapons, but he didn't have time to notice so many options for the same weapon, especially swords and axes.

'My god… How is this possible? Who did all this?' His mind was full of doubts and that was understandable, the world was no longer in the medieval period, the production methods of these weapons were lost with the end of the internet, only memories were left of them. However, now they were here, not cheap copies, but legitimate weapons made to kill!

No longer holding his curiosity, Lucas asked:

"Who did all this?"

Jefferson, who was walking around looking for something that would please his customer, turned around and said,

"Who else? Of course it was me!" He puffed out his chest and spoke arrogantly, as if no one else in the world could do the same.

Lucas looked at him strangely, not doubting it, but wanting to understand how he had accomplished such a feat, wondering if his mutation was responsible for it. However, Jefferson saw this look as a challenge. It seemed that some command had been sent to his brain, his mind 'stopped for a moment before working again'. His eyes glowed the metallic color from before, however with a much greater intensity.

"Are you doubting?" He spoke with even more intensity.

His aura expanded as he spoke, the spread was such that it affected the other customers in the store, who all looked in the same direction, some of them began to sweat when they noticed the source of this pressure.

It wasn't all that different for his client, Lucas backed away, not half a step but this time a full step backward. The amount of danger he felt was more than twice as much as before and instinctively his eyes began to emit a white light, the [Blood Intuition] along with [Blood Understanding] instantly activated when the dense aura hit him, but before the white gleam came over his eyes, he quickly closed them.

The environment inside the store was tense for a few seconds, no one dared to move and many were in a cold sweat. Suddenly, a voice rang out in the silence:

"Jefferson! Stop!" Downstairs, an unshaven, fat old man, nearly bald with a few gray streaks remaining, wearing a white tank top and black-spotted jeans, yelled with his hands outstretched. The grease was all over his body, bringing a contrast between his brown skin and the stains.

The pressure retracted after he spoke, everyone was finally able to resume their duties. At that moment Lucas finally opened his eyes and saw that old man walking towards him. The young man with the sharp teeth still had a defiant gleam in his eyes, aiming exactly at Lucas.

The old man crossed to the other side of the counter and soon approached the teenager with the sharp teeth. Without warning or indication, he slapped Jefferson on the back of the head. Then he said:

"Sorry for him, I'm the father of this little freak, but lately I can't control him. Call me Marcelo, what's his name?" He spoke so captivatingly that Lucas for a moment forgot what had happened before, a feeling of comfort and warmth inexplicably burned in his heart, strange as it was, this old man reminded him of his father.

He didn't know why, maybe it was his way of speaking. His eyes watered a little, but he quickly wiped them away with his shirt sleeve and said:

"Don't worry, don't worry! It was just a misunderstanding! I came here to pick up a new weapon for myself at Asa's request, so I was very curious about how this was all done. It's very impressive to have so many weapons of various shapes and types!" He tried to be as friendly as possible, praising a lot.

"Hahaha, that's it! This is all thanks to this brat here. It may look like he's a bum, but he does a great job!" Marcelo responded with his joy and enormous sympathy again.

"As an apology and also as you're curious, how about Jefferson take you to take a look at how he does it? He can even make you a custom weapon, can't he Jerffeson?" He turned and looked at his son with an authoritative posture; squinting, clearly not allowing any denial from the young man.

"S-Of course! Come on, I'll take you to the second floor." Jefferson turned hastily and waved for Lucas to follow, who in turn hesitated to follow, but after seeing Marcelo's nod, he walked toward the stairs. So the two entered the first floor. Going up the stairs, an even stronger smell of metal seeped into Lucas' nostrils.

The first floor, where the mini workshop was located, was as big as the ground floor, there were several counters made of pure metal, ovens and water baths. However, what most caught the attention was its appearance, all the furniture and structures inside were not symmetrical, none of them had the aspect of an item produced in a factory or made by professionals, it seemed that all were handmade by a novice. Its surfaces were not regular, the curves and connections were crooked and apparently poorly made.

Jefferson said nothing, if Lucas were in front of him he could see the serious and focused expression he emitted. Without waiting for his client to get used to the surroundings, the sharp-toothed, metallic-toothed mutant released his aura again, but this time it wasn't threatening, it was a simple concentration that didn't lose anything in intensity to the previous releases.

When Lucas was hit again by the pressure, he focused his senses on its source and his vision startled him. The young mutant had his eyes closed and a big smile on his face, his hands were moving in the air and with each movement, pieces of metal, which were scattered on the nearby counter, flew into his hands and surrounded them, giving a beautiful sight to who likes abstract patterns.

A few seconds passed with the pieces of metal circling him, but suddenly the fragments floating around Jefferson stopped, he opened his eyes and the magic began. With a burst of speed, the fragments shivered and heated to the point of yellowing, their patterned movement around the mutant resembled a school of fish, there were enough fragments to prevent anyone outside from seeing the core of this rotation.

The radiated yellow glow was very beautiful, it was as if the stars surrounded the core of a galaxy, Lucas' eyes reflected that mesmerizing glow.

'Waaau, so it controls the metal and raises its temperature? This explains very well how all these weapons were produced.' He was impressed by the effect of the mutation in front of him and instinctively activated [Blood Understanding].

With his brain now boosted and being able to see the world slower, he was able to perceive details previously unseen. The smaller metal pieces were slowly colliding and joining other larger pieces as they turned, adding to the light show. The assimilation occurred very smoothly despite the method used, in less than 1 minute all the fragments joined, forming a metallic sphere about 60 centimeters in circumference, radiating an orange light that illuminated the entire workshop.

Throughout the process, Lucas watched closely, not daring to be distracted for a moment. Apparently, his effort was worth it, as his eyes suddenly sparkled and his face showed pretty much the same arousal that Jerfferson had had before.

'That's it! That's what I need!'
