35 - Reason

The young, feeble-looking man still hadn't moved. He was staring at the ground as if hoping that everyone would be looking away from him.

'Cursed Child? Master of the Shadows?' Lucian thought as he looked at the young man's title.

He had no idea what they meant. He looked like a normal human being, a human that had lived a rough life. Such was obvious. 

'Should I talk to him right now?'

Lucian was hesitating whether to recruit him right now or… wait a little longer. Should he wait and ask him when he would need him the most? He looked lost right now, but what if he was even more desperate?

"Hey! You!" Emily uttered, this time with a lot more energy. She wanted to make sure Elvin had heard her.

For the first time since everyone had started looking at him, his head moved. He slowly turned his head, looking directly at Emily.
