1 Chapter 1: Dying by the hands of an alien?

'It's another cold evening. Perfect for doing my last mission.'

A man stared at his reflection on the mirror. There, he saw a bearded middle aged man who has a fair skin and a neat black hair. His eyes are sharp, altough he's already 38 years old, you could still mistake him as someone to be on his 20's especially when those red lips of him smiles. He has a fine appearance indeed, contrary to the wicked soul he has.

He is currently applying make up on his face, as he apply all the different types of whatever potion that is on his face, his appearance gradually changed to a more refined young man with kind eyes. The middle aged man who has a dangerous feel coming from his eyes transformed to a lively young man who you would not think to ever do a crime.

He stared at his reflection and smiled, turned serious, looked apologetic and all kinds of different facial expressions. He started to get use to his new face and is practicing all different kinds of facial expressions

"Perfection." The man said.

He changed to the suit he is supposed to wear today. He walked to a secret closet and gathered all the gadgets he would be needing for today.

After making sure he got all the necessary gadgets, he went out of his apartment, and before he closed the door, he looked pitifully to the man lying naked who is staring deadly at him. If anyone would see this situation right now, they would think that the man lying naked on the bed and the man outside are twins.

"I'll be borrowing this face for a while. See you!" He smiled and slammed the door without looking back to the man who is still immobile from the drug that was injected to him.

Danide. That is the name of the immobile naked man, and his colleagues are waiting for him across the street of his apartment. Of course, he won't be meeting them anytime soon. Instead, it is now the middle aged man who is currently impersonating him who will be meeting them.

"Danide. The leader said you'll be one of the guards to escort a VIP today to the SVN facility. Congratulations you finally made it!"

A man who seems to be black american greeted 'Danide'.

'Danide' smiled and said,

"Thanks man. I'm sure you will be able to do better next time"

Instead of smiling after hearing what 'Danide' said, the man went silent. If 'Danide' could see the eyes behind those sunglasses he would probably not be smiling as he is now.

The man had an unkind look on his eyes. The other men who are in the car sniggered. In their thoughts, they think that the black man is pathetic since even someone as Danide who is 3 years younger than him is already escorting VIP together with them, while he who has been working for 5 years for the organization never had the chance to stepped onto the facility who is considered to contain someone the whole humanity has to protect.

'Danide' opened the car and sat on the passenger's seat. The car zoomed quickly when Danide got in.

The middle aged man is Erthen Cavalier, a very notorious conman in Russia. Erthen has been a conman ever since he's a kid. He was used by his parents as a tool to con others when he was only three years old, God knows what kind of crimes he was forced to do by his parents. When Erthen turned 18, he sold his parents to the biggest Mafia group they have messed with.

He sold him not because he wanted to get revenge to his parents. His reason is the same as to why they made their son a tool for conning others. He simply sold them because he yearned for more money.

Today, December 31, 2021 is his last day being a conman. Not because he dicided to turn a new leaf nor was he trying to end his life. He consider this his last mission because what he's targeting today is to kidnap the most valuable person on earth today. If he sells this person to the right group, he can live with all the richest this world could offer and he will finally surpass his parent's achievement, who are proclaimed to be the most notorious conmen on Earth.

The man he's kidnapping calls himself Lantien, a being not from Earth, or so what the leaders of all the nations call him. He has no assurance if it is true but Lantien is definitely a walking piece of diamond regardless if he's from Earth or not.

Erthen successfully entered the facility where they keep Lantien. He disguised himself as one of the guards that ensures Lantien's safety.

With all the 35 years of experiences he had, disguising is his most perfected ability he ever had.

He walked into the hallway together with the other guards escorting an old man wearing all white which he assumed is a doctor, blended with everything until they reached the end of the hallway where a door that looked like a giant's door is located. The doctor made a series of tapping on a screen that seems to be the only way to open the humongous door.

Meanwhile, behind the humongous door, Lantien is in deep thought. Different from what Erthen learned, Lantien is actually one of Yasael's 13 disciples. Yasael is the son of the creator of Earth, and he is the only child of the creator.

Lantien, the 13th disciple of Yasael made a sin thousand of years ago. That year, Yasael obeyed everything his father has ordered him to do.

But fate seems to be quite playful.Yasael fell for Lantien's sister, Seniel. Lantien discovered it but did not see anything wrong about it. Little did he know that when a deity fell in love with a mortal, he will lose all his authority as a deity.

After all, as a son of the creator of Earth, he is supposed to love all the mortals equally, falling for a specific someone means discrimination against the other mortals.

The creator discovered it before their love could bear fruit, because of that Seniel disappeared. Yasael was overwhelmed with grief he has never felt before. Mortals who discovered about him falling to a mortal used it as a pretense to give punishment to Yasael, and he is forced to return to the heavenly realm without knowing if Seniel went to heaven or hell.

Lantien, as a sibling of Seniel and a disciple of Yasael carried the guilt from a thousand of years ago until today.

Therefore he used his authority as Yasael's disciple to search all over different realms to find his sister. He also travelled back and forth to past to find clues but all his efforts where in vain. He did everything he could just so his sister and master could meet again.

Now he is back to where it started,He is back on Earth. He commanded these mortals to find Seniel.

Today is his last day on Earth on year 2021, he has used up all the power that is allotted to a disciple of Yasael and it is time to go back to Yasael's side.

From his last days, he had met different women whom the mortal says is Seniel but Seniel is not among those women.

'Will I never be able to atone for my sins?'

Back to outside the door

As the door opened, Erthen who was at the end of the guards released a sleeping gas bomb and has already worn a mask. After ensuring that the effects of the sleeping gas worked, he entered the room.

There, he saw a big capsule, and inside it is a a naked man surrounded by whatever fluids it is. Contrary to his expectation of an alien, the man inside the capsule looks just like a human. The only difference is that, the man inside the capsule is otherworldly beautiful.

He dicided to quickly break the glass since he is running out of time. He knew that the guards are coming his way because there have been a very loud alarm ringing when he stepped on the room.

As his full strength fist collided with the seemingly brittle glass, the glass didn't budge, after all, it is supposed to protect Lantien. But to his surprise, Lantien opened his eyes and reached out his hands towards his fist. Erthen stared into those eyes and he felt all different emotions. He was mystified, a thought came onto his mind saying this man controls the universe. At that moment, time seemed to stop. Erthen was so bewildered, he couldn't move any part of his body and the sudden silence is deafening him to the extent.

Their hands touched and an extremely dangerous feeling enveloped him. He was so scared, he has never encountered something so unscientific in his entire life.

'Impossible! How could merely touching make me so terrified?'

The guards rushed into the room.

"Freeze!" They shouted, they have already started firing their guns when Erthen was on sight.

*Bang

*Bang

*Bang

Continuous barraged of bullets came to meet Erthen, but before the bullets could come in contact with him, he, together with Lantien started vanishing out of thin air.

"Forgive me my lord, I have failed you again."

Infront of the dumbfounded guards, both of them disappeared completely without a trace.
