"Damn it, Damn it," Manjiro thinks to himself as he enters the city.
He runs around the street and sees multiple robot demons laid to waste, out of panic Manjiro looks at the leaderboard in which his team placed 20th place.
Manjiro then starts running again, he goes throughout the city but there aren't any demons he could find, out of the corner of his eyes he sees a demon walking into an alleyway.
Manjiro rushes towards the demon as he sees an opportunity to score some points.
"Hey Demon!" Manjiro yells
The Demon turns around and faces Manjiro.
"Sorry to alert you but I don't like killing Demons who don't face me properly."
As Manjiro runs towards the demon he feels a breeze of air grazing his face.
In a blink of an eye, he sees the demon has been taken down and a boy who resembled Hado even wearing the same outfit as him.
The boy turns around and faces Manjiro.
"I-m s-orry," The boys bow down and then disappears.
"That weirdo took my kill!" Manjiro then exits the alleyway.
"Nice one, Miyamoto!" Says a blonde-haired girl.
"That kid looked scary," Said Miyamoto as he walked towards his two teammates.
They all stood on top of the largest building in the city, on the edge of the building sat the long unruly black-haired boy, looking at Manjiro as he ran trying desperately to find demons.
"That stupid white-wearing idiot stole my demon," Manjiro says as he's rushing trying to secure points.
"10 Minutes remaining!" Meiwa shouts into his microphone.
Manjiro again checks the leaderboard and finds his team placed at 15.
He then hears an explosion from a nearby gas station.
As he arrives there he sees a familiar face from the academy laying waste to demons.
"These demons are so weak, weres the really strong ones?" Asked a dirty blonde-haired boy as he holds a demon from his throat. He wore black trousers with a red hoodie and plain white sneakers.
"I consider it lucky, I don't feel like doing anything right now," Says another boy with black hair, trying hard not to sleep. He wore white trousers with a blue hoodie and plain black sneakers.
On the other side of the gas station a brown-haired girl who by herself laid waste to 5 demons.
"Yo! Manjiro is that you!" The blonde-haired boy yelled as he ran towards Manjiro who tried to avoid him.
"Hey Taimu," Manjiro said with an annoying expression.
Taimu gets into a fighting stance.
"You fighting freak nows not the time nor place," Manjiro yells.
Taimu ignores him and rushes towards him throwing a punch, which Manjiro blocks.
Taimu then jumps into the air and drops a kick which hits the top of Manjiros head, causing him to crash onto the floor.
Manjiro then gets up in a rage and rushed towards Taimu kicking him in the stomach, causing Taimu the crash into the gas station.
Manjiro then runs away.
"Damn it he got away," Taimu says disappointed, "Why didn't you stop him Yami!"
Yami doesn't respond and starts snoring.
"Out of all the people!" Manjiro yells as he touches the top of his head to see if there was any blood gushing out.
Manjiro again hears others fighting snd this time decides to sneak a kill just like Miyamoto did to him.
He looked around the corner and sees a boy by himself taking on a demon.
"If I use flash step then I'll be able to sneak in a kill before that guy reacts," Manjiro thinks to himself.
Manjiro takes a deep breath and proceeds to use flash step, he passes by the boy and sticks out his leg for a kick.
As he nears the demon he feels a grainy substance cover his ankle, he looks down and sees sand wrapped around his leg.
"Sand?" Manjiro says as he looks back at the boy "So the must be his element huh?"
He then gets twirled around and shot across the city as he crashes into a building.
As he gets out of the ruble and cleans off his clothes, he sees a crowd of people run past him in fear.
"That's weird… There must not be any demons that way," Manjiro then turns around to run in the opposite direction.
As he's about to run he feels the ground shake.
The shaking gets bigger and bigger as it gets closer, it turns the corner as Manjiro turns around.
There stood a demon that stood around 100 feet tall, towering over every building.
"Hey!" Manjiro yells "You must be that 10 point demon, I sure am lucky!"
The demon stretches out its arm in an attempt to hit Manjiro. Manjiro jumps into the air and lands on the stretched-out arm, as he starts running towards the demon's forehead.
Manjiro being too fast avoids every attempt the demon makes in order to get him off.
He reaches the demon's forehead and kicks it, however being a robot made out of metal it causes Manjiro's kick to fail and in the process snapping his ankle.
"That metal is no ordinary metal, that demon is made up of Tantalum, no ordinary kick without cursed energy amplifying it will even scratch it." Meiwa states.
Manjiro now kneeling on the demon's nose in pain allows the demon to swipe Manjiro off causing him to towards the ground.
As Manjiro is falling with his eyes closed he feels a weird sensation, as he opens his eyes he's surrounded by water.
He then looks up and sees Lavender standing on top of the water.
"We finally found you," Lavender utters as her dragon rushes toward the demon.
The demon puts his hands together releasing a series of magma attacks.
"Magma?" Lavender says in shock as her dragon gets hit causing her to retreat towards the ground.
Standing on the ground was Shita observing.
"I think the diamond crest on the demon's chest is its weak point," Shita says questionable.
"On his chest?" Manjiro questioned, "That's weird I swear the diamond was on its forehead."
"Maybe you're losing your eyesight at the same time as your brain cells," Lavender claimed.
This caused a heated argument between Manjiro and Lavender, as this was happening Shita begins to think.
"Shouldn't we join the battle as well?" Asked Miyamoto.
"No," Unmei responds, "Why waste energy on something we don't need, no need to go after ten points while we're in the lead."
Miyamoto then looks around sees teams who are already in the qualifying positions watching the battle pursue.
As team Kami is still arguing many other cadets fail to stop the demon.
"I got it," Shita says causing Manjiro and Lavender to stop arguing.
Lavender use your water dragon to get closer to him me and Manjiro will stay here.
"Alright," Lavender says as she flys into the air, as she nears the demon it again lets out magma attacks.
This time however Shita has his eyes looked onto the diamond crest as the first magma shot fires the diamond moves to the forehead.
The second shot fires causing the diamond to move towards the heart, the third shot towards the center of the chest and the fourth to the right of the chest, and the fifth back towards the forehead.
Lavender lands towards the ground.
"Manjiro did you see that?" Shita asks.
"Yeah, It goes around 4 positions," Manjiro responds.
"2 Minutes Remaining!" Meiwa shouts.
"Alright where 13th place, 5 points behind 12th place, meaning if we eliminate this demon within 2 minutes we'll qualify," Shita says as he looks at the leaderboard.
"Lavender I want you to get Manjiro as close as possible to the demon," Shita goes on "Manjiro when you see an opening go eliminate that demon."
"I can't avoid those Magma attacks," Lavender responds.
"Don't worry I'll handle it trust me," Shita says with a confident look.
Lavender creates another water dragon with both her and Manjiro standing on top.
The dragon rushes towards the demon, again causing the demon to fire a magma attack.
As the magma attack is nearing Lavender and Manjiro, they are unable to dodge.
But out of nowhere, however, a ball of fire cancels out the magma.
"If I put all my cursed energy into a fire attack it can increase the heat of my fire allowing me to even cancel out magma," Shita remarks.
Manjiro looks towards the diamond and sees it moving. This however doesn't stop the demon from firing more.
"2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7" Manjiro count in his head.
As the dragon nears the demon Manjiro jumps off, as the demon fires its 8th attack.
The attack goes near Manjiro but is canceled out by Shita's fire.
"8! Meaning the diamond is located at the right chest" Manjiro yells. "Sorry everyone guess we'll be sticking around for a while!"
Powerful energy covers Manjiros leg, it sort of looked like purple flames.
As Manjiro kicks the diamond crest the demon explodes, causing a huge shockwave to emerge damaging buildings and pushing back other participants.
Manjiro is then caught by Lavender's dragon.
"Times Up!" Meiwa shouts
"No way, he made that powerful Metal look like paper," Meiwa remarked, "What was that energy no wonder that kid gave a C rank demon a run for its money."
