Nothing to Others.

"Ahhhhhhhhhhhh!" I failed once more, why can't I perform seemingly simple task as flying on a broom Let me try it again: "Abracadabra Hocus Pocus. Scott then said, "Oh my God, did it work this time?," as he was carried into the air by the broomstick. Soon Scott dropped on his back with a loud thud, yelping in pain, "Ouch my back ".

Scott's mother enters the room. "Well, it didn't." How could I have a son like yours who is incapable of even flying a broom? In fact, children as young as five can ride a carpet. "You ought to pick up some advice from your elder brother, who is only a year older than you."

She was scolding me, and I couldn't help but think, "blah, blah, blah, blah," because I have been hearing this constantly since the day I was born, every minute of every day.

Mom inquired, "Scott, are you even paying attention to me?". "Yes, I am listening carefully to you, mom. And it'snot that I don't want to do it; I genuinely can't. By the way, why do you consistently draw comparisons between me and Mason? "Scott retorted.

"Stop talking behind your brother's back; you should learn from him. He can execute the enchantment in a way that even our folks couldn't." In the first place, I would like to make it clear that I never spoke to him behind his back. In the second place  its a shame that our seniors  couldn't tidy a place by magic.

"You bastard have no regard for elders, you don't even take your courses properly. The only thing that can make you take things seriously is punishment."

Scott's mother

"I'm sorry, I'm sorry, please I won't say anything like that again, I'm so...."

Inside a closed room, Scott bangs the door continuously and soon faints after hyperventilating.

These are the last words I said from the last two days, as my mom has locked me in a small room with no lights because I'm claustrophobic because of which I fainted and don't think my mom doesn't know that, she also knows that I won't be able to come out of it as I don't know much about magic.

I'm Scott a 17-year-old teenager who is suppose to be a graduate next year but how when I still can't pass Fifth grade, yeah you heard right because of being a weak sorcerer I'm still behind in my classes. My father is a very well known magician, actually my whole family is extraordinary as everyone has their own unique way of doing magic except me because I lack magic affinity with the spirits of the elements which makes me worthless in the eyes of the family. Since the time I was born I was always degraded in everything I did most of my part in everything was given to my brother because he is perfect in my parent's eyes as he doesn't lack any kind of magic affinity and i don't know why does thing have such a long name. My father always saw me like I was a mistake in his life which has to be erased, my mother never said much but I can see the hatred for me in her eyes, even though everyone degraded me my brother never treated me like that he always says that one day everyone will respect me for who I am. Sometimes I feel like I'm from a parallel world where there used to be no witchcraft, but I can't take this anymore because I have my plans now.

Two Days Later

Mom opens the door after two days.

"Thud" Scott falls on the floor as soon as she opens the door.

"Oh my goodness, you scared the hell out of me,

hey," says mom while slapping Scott slightly.

"Did this boy faint again why can't he overcome his fear who come I gave birth to such a fragile thing?."

Inside Mason's room.

"huh, ah, mom please open the door huh ah, please mom" Scott murmured as he was sleeping on the bed, soon after coming out of the room.

"Scott, Scott can you hear me wake up Scott, he has such a high fever how can a mother do this to her child, I will talk to her today," says Mason's.

Later in the evening.

Ah, am I finally out of the room, Scott thinks while removing the wet cloth from his head.

Huh, why am I so sticky did I have a nightmare again because that could only be the sole reason for me to sweat in buckets, wait this isn't my room this is Mason's room what am I doing here.

Loud arguing and smashing sound coming from downstairs.

"Is he fighting for me again?" Scott thinks while moving downstairs.

"Ouch", yelled Scott. Why does my foot hurt so much did I hit it somewhere in the room.

Was I that loud that Jackson came running for me.

"Are u okay Scott? did you hurt yourself somewhere? why are you coming down? you had a high fever you should go back and take a rest," asked Mason.

"Calm down Mason, how can I answer these many questions altogether, I just hit my foot somewhere and about my fever, I'm fine now," answered Scott.

While I was answering my brother's questions, the only thing that I could see that time was my parent's faces which were just saying that I was just an ugly human born in beauties family, I am a disappointment and a burden on their shoulders, even though this wasn't the first time I was seeing there faces of disappointment, but every time I see those faces my heart hurts It always feels like thousands of needles continuously stabbing my heart slowly. They always said that whatever they say doesn't matter to me, just because I have a smile on my face or don't say much doesn't mean that whatever they say doesn't matter to me, for now, the only thing I am waiting for is to leave my parents so-called castle which is just like a haunted house to me.

Scott thinks everything thoroughly while sitting on a study table thinking instead of doing his homework but as always goes back to bed without any conclusions for his future.

There is a mistake in this chapter wanna resolve as it can be a confusion in future Scott's brothers name is Mason and his father's name is Jackson
