388 C388-Trance like Episode

Urchin felt drained by the heat. They were still waiting for any answer from Selah. The young prince decided to take a nap right after meal. Ophir and Sycamore are dismissing some stuff as they wait for Ain and Kennan to arrive. Urchin took a deep breath and surrendered his back on the hard and rocky wall of the cave. He loved to hear the slow motion drip from the cieling. He liked how chilly the air blown from within the core of the enclosed area. He embraced the sleepy feeling and allowed himself to be vulnerable.

The sound of water from beneath him was cold and is flowing. He can smell the wild marine weeds as he felt his body being dragged through a straight course. Urchin opened his lashes and was surprised by the view. He tried to get up but his feet were tied with the papyrus basket that caught him from sinking and drowning. The current of the water was calm. He looked up and got blinded by the ray of sun. Urchin had to protect his eyes. He scanned the area and found a weary emotions tugging within him.

It was a familiar scene. He glanced from side ti side and saw the scenery changes as the water escort him to the lake, river, valley and canals but Urchin did not reached the ocean or the sea. He can tell that he was caught in a loop. He saw the same scenery five times already. The only changes that happened was the evening hour. Urchin started to get cold. He hugged himself as the papyrus flower balled his feet with it's fiber and warmth. He looked down to see the calm lake reflect the start. It was a breath taking view but he was not sure if it's real or a dream. He was reminded of being losed, abandoned and left alone.

Urchi laid down since his waist and back complained from the cold. He extended his hand upwards and a memory flashes in his view. It was a chubby tiny hand pleading to get up since he can't do it by him self. It was a young boy longing to reach up a ground and get off the endless water course. Urchin started to release a tear. His heart started to get stuck and his pulse slowed down. It was like he got back from that ride where he can't even take a view. His eyes was fixed with the sun and the stars. Urchin sat up and clutched his heart. His heart is getting irratic and insane. It was being squeezed to the point where his view got clouded by his own tears.

A painful beat that he can't stop and address. The water continued to lead him encircle. Urchun started to groan in pain. He started to reach out for the water under him. The water slowly pulled him from it's body. Urchin tried to swim up and glide up but his direction kept getting downward. He started to feel his lungs enlarge. He felt the weight of the invisible water trying to magnify him to an endless pit. Urchin once again extend his hand when he heared his name being called by Ophir and Sycamore. He sat up and coughed. He started to catch his breath.

Urchin sighed in relief when he realised that his whole body was damp.

"Your all drench! How can you sleep soundly?" Sycamore inquired.

Urchin's eyes were surprised.

"It's not a dream. I... I was there?"

Sycamore sat down beside him as he handed a towel.

"Go and take a bath it will sooth your mind."

Urchin clutched the towel and spoke.

"I got trapped in a trance."

Ophir and Sycamore stared at him. He was also convincing himself.

"Urchin, we understand but for now.. go and take a warm and nice bath. You don't look well."

Urchin blinked and saw how worried the two are.

"Your right.. I need some warm bath."

He stood up and headed to the cone like spring made by Kennan and Ophir. Urchin stood there for a while and saw his environment changes. The water temperature was the same but the cave is gone. He is butt naked in the middle of a knee length river. Urchin sat down to cover himself and looked around.

"Not again!" He muttered.

Urchin paced like a duck and yanked s wild weed with huge leaves to cover his private area. He walked up and followed the course of the water by feet but it was endless. He can't see the end of it. He tried to get out of the water but he can't.

Out of nowhere, a basket appear before him. He run to meet it but it was empty. He tried ti chase down and follow the basket but it lead him to a familiar lake. It was the lake that made his destiny aligned. It was the lake that allowed him to have a fateful encounter. It's the Maximina Lake. The beauty of the radiant and colorful lake had Urchin savour some great memories. But where was he before getting there? Was he the one carried by the basket?

The beholder of the lake is unseen but her hum and knitting of basket are being displayed. Urchin stared at the petals being swayed by the liquid surface. Urchin reached out for one and was brought to reality. He was walking naked within the cave and grabbed Ophir's head. Sycamore was frozen and did not know what to do.

"What is wrong Urchin?" Ophir asked befire facing him. His face were an inch to his naked body. Ophir blinked and look up at Urchin who was also shock and dumbfounded. The young prince carefully released Ophir's heas. He covered his face with his palm and zoom out from their view. Ophir felt like his eyes git defiled. His face left it's color and he started to choke and vomit by the side. Sycamore did not know what to say or do. He was just glad that Ole and Selah are not around.
