The Koruko warrior came out of the tent. He was relieved that he had delivered the message. The man walked quietly among the tents full of warriors. Suddenly he understood. Blue Bird had been very naive. So had he. He was to keep the secret and be the living proof. If he stayed here, he would only have a few moments of life left. He walked looking for the exit. He tried to conceal his uneasiness.

Almost at the end of the tents a man dressed as a priest was standing in the middle of the vegetation. He was absolutely bald.

--Come with me.--

Koruko stopped. It was not a military order. It was a pleasant invitation.

The Caribbean warrior understood.

--Yes," --he finally said.

Rut Za Beru had moved on a tiring journey to the hot northern lands. Now dripping with sweat he performed a military religious ceremony asking for more triumphs for the Chibchas. He performed the ceremony shortly after dawn and the heat was already more than unbearable. At the end of the ceremony he would begin the return trip, to ascend to the cold of the Andes; so he said goodbye to his brother.

--For the ceremony you did, you could have saved the trip and stayed sleeping," ---said General Ita.

--The gods are very miraculous, but they would have to change time and planet, so that you could win a battle. That would be the most powerful miracle since creation. That's why I didn't waste any more of my valuable time. They can never be favorable to an inept person,"-- said the high priest sincerely.

---Faker. You don't even do your high priestly job badly. You are only doing it so you can rape the slaves in the palace, until Saba Tamac finds out and cuts you to pieces,"--- said the other without hiding his feelings at all.

--Saba Tamac would not even notice if he was raped himself," --said the priest with a cynical smile, --"but be alert, a simple subaltern chieftain did what you can never and never will be able to do.

--I have a surprise for the Timotocuicas and their allies," --said the military chief with embarrassment.

--Oh yes, what, are you going to surrender, for that would be the only way to keep your army alive.

--I have asked the great Inca for five thousand men," --exclaimed the man just as smugly.

--Excellent. And may I ask what you will give him in return that he does not already have?

What Saba Tamac and Altulay could not.

--Vermin. You have no scruples and no manners," --said the priest Ruth Za Beru. His brother had no limits to achieve his plans. It was time to know if Ita Za Beru had him included in them. He quickly understood. But not by a long shot

In love and war anything goes.

The Chibcha army will not follow you. You are more than devalued in their eyes.

--Let them lose morale and you will see how they will follow me.

Idiot. They lose their morale because of your way of commanding," --concluded the other. He had to think urgently about having a way out just for himself. Leaving everything to the military was always the easiest and most direct way to any disaster.

Hyalpeca watched the young Condor flit around the vicinity of the palace. He was now a member of the landscape. Several soldiers shot arrows at it with the idea of shooting it down and preparing it stewed or in soup. But so far the bird was very effective in evading all traps. It also seemed to have a predilection for Blue Bird and the baby princess Tahirza. It would approach at a safe distance from them and squawk playfully.

It was a sign of protection and good luck. She would see the little girl tucked in her backpack on her aunt's back. If that little girl did not exist, Tanda could be queen of the Timotocuicas. And Tanda's bluebird proposal of Tanda as queen regent of Tahirza was not all bad either. In the course of a girl's growth many things can happen...bad ...good, so Hyalpeca decided to support Blue Bird's proposal to Saba Tamac.

Saba Tamac ended her concentration at the base of her coccyx. Completely focused on the color red, he repeated in concentration the word "shang", to eliminate his insecurity, empower his energy center and consolidate his triumph. For the first time in a long time he had a calm concentration and opened a magnificent door of fire, where standing in a red and infinite space a thin man, undefined in his appearance, spoke to him right in the depths of his brain.

Saba Tamac walked inside his visualization, until he stood next to this kind being he had never seen before, but who was so familiar to him. The man spoke to him calmly and thanked him for the girl, told him that he should take good care of her from dangerous enemies, such as Rafahtrak, Hialpeca, Tanda, Ita Za Berú, Rut Za Berú, Toribuco, Serpiente Negra(black snake) and the dragged Xuzito. The king in the depths of his mind saw them; he saw the unbridled orgy and his daughter doing disgusting things, he saw Hialpeca laughing like crazy, and he saw the rivers of blood running down the stairs of the palace... The man returned to his reality... a shudder shook his body...

The figure of his very dangerous father-in-law Manco Capac was still hammering there in the depths of his temples.
