"We've got mail", Jimin called.

"Who's it for?"

"It doesn't say."

"Band meeting!", Namjoon yelled into the doors of rooms.

After good 15 minutes the last member, exceptionally not being Jimin, slurred into the living room.

Jimin opened the letter.

"Ooh", he made.

"Can you just read it out aloud?", Hoseok asked.

"It's an invitation. To a new year's eve party."

"From..?", Jin asked.

"Jackson", Jimin smiled.

"We've been invited to Jacksons big new year's party. And oh they are big I've heard", he said.

"Cool", Yoongi nodded.

"Yeah i won't go", Hoseok said.

"What?", Jimin asked.

"I won't go. I'm not in the mood for a party."

"Fine, i won't go either", Jin then said.

"Guys?? This is jackson's new years party we're talking about! You're coming!", Jimin said.

"Right now is just not the time", Hoseok said.

"BUT ITS JACKSON-"

Namjoon put his hand up.

Jimin turned around in disappointment but didn't say anything.

"Taehyung?", Jimin knocked on the door.

"You know I keep no secrets from you."

"I'm just being polite. Also, i don't want to walk in while you and Jungkook-"

"OKAY!"

Jimin sat down on Taehyung's bed.

"I'm surprised you're actually in your own room. Since you spend most of your time with Jungkook."

Taehyung sat down next to him.

"Is that a problem?"

"No! No of course not. I know you've been together a while too and I know relationships usually spend more time with each other."

"It doesn't have to be that way you know. If it bothers you, just let me know okay?", Taehyung grabbed Jimin's hand.

"Of course, I will."

Taehyung nodded.

"Actually I wanted to know if you have any plans on New Year's Eve..."

Taehyung made a nervous face.

"Actually, I already promised Jungkook we'd-"

Jimin stood up.

"No forget it, I shouldn't have asked."

"Jimin, no wait, I'll cancel. He'll understand."

"Okay. But i need your help on what to wear."

"I'll be there", Tae said and smiled.

Jungkook walked in and kissed Taehyung on the cheek.

"Ohh a secret gossip meeting and I wasn't invited?", he acted hurt.

Taehyung laughed.

"See you then", he said to Jimin.

Jimin smiled and left.

"Soo, what's going on?", Jungkook asked and pulled Taehyung close to him, putting his hands on his waist.

"Koo, I can't meet your parents on New year's eve. I'm sorry."

"Oh."

"Why?"

"I have been spending way less time with Jimin and he even came to me about it, that means its really important to him."

"But why that day? Why not the day after?"

"There's this party. Jackson's party. And Jimin wants me to there."

"There'll be other parties."

"It's really important to him, Jungkook. He misses me. And I miss him too."

"But the meeting with my parents is important to me too. And to them! They planned the whole thing. What am I supposed to tell them, that my boyfriend rather goes to a party than their home? My home?"

"That's not how it is!"

"No, I know how it is."

"No you don't! I've spend so much time with you and I've completely left everyone else out!"

"That's normal in a relationship!"

"But not to that extent! Sorry, Jungkook. I can't meet your parents on New year's eve. Maybe you should look for someone who is willing to ignore his closest friend for you. How's that sound?"

Taehyung shook Jungkooks hands off, grabbed his jacket and shoes and left, slamming the door.

With that, Jungkook was alone.

He sat down and hid his face in his hands.

What the hell just happened?

After good six months I am finally back. But I've got an explanation and an apology too.

I'm sorry it took so long, I'd understand, if some of you aren't interested in reading this story anymore as it really sucks having to wait that long.

But for my defense, i was in my last year of school and the exams and the pressure and stress I had to deal with, were huge and I had to put all the energy I had left into taking care of myself.

But now I am back and hopefully at least a bit regularly again, since the last final exam is over. I don't know if I passed yet, as I didn't get the grades yet but lets just not think about that for now.
