45 | 43.

It was early evening, too early for clubs, too late for café's, but Yoongi still wanted to go somewhere. He had reinstalled his tinder account just now, after deleting it, two days ago.

He felt so caught up in all those principles, all those loving or not loving promises, but he couldn't stay away from it anyhow. He needed something warm, something comfortable. He didn't want to be lonely.

But call Alejandro? Maybe. He was nice after all. And he wasn't like those typical people, fuck and go.

Like- yes, they fucked and he left but- it was... different somehow. The energy was different. There was no force on him but they could still be romantic around each other.

Before he could hold himself back, he typed in Alejandro's number and pressed the phone to his ear.

"Yoongi! Hey, how are you?"

"Hi, I'm alright. I was just calling because- well- you know", Yoongi twisted his fingers back and forth, "I don't have any plans for tonight yet and I was wondering whether you.. whether you already um... have plans?"

He rather mumbled into the microphone.

Alejandro laughed.

"I do actually, I was invited to a birthday party tonight."

"Oh. Nevermind then, have fun-"

"Do you want to come?"

Yoongi's heart skipped a beat.

"To the party?"

"No silly, to my grandma's, YES OF COURSE TO THE PARTY!"

Yoongi chuckled nervously. "I would not mind?"

"I'll send you the address-"

"Can't we meet at yours?", he asked slowly.

Alejandro hesitated.

"I didn't clean up tho and I still have to get ready, I wouldn't have much time for you."

"That's fine. I'll see you in 20", Yoongi said and hung up.

Alejandro sent the details of his apartment immediately.

Yoongi pulled out a black turtleneck- since he didn't know what he'd come back home with- and some regular light jeans, ripping on his thigh just beneath his ass.

"Where you going?", Namjoon asked, standing in the doorframe.

"Out", Yoongi said.

"Alone?"

"Yeah."

"Is there a time you'll be back?"

"Jesus, I'm not fifteen, Joon."

"I just thought-"

"Forget what you thought", he answered in a tone that Namjoon knew he should leave him alone.

"Will you promise me that you'll call if something's up?", Namjoon said placing his hand on Yoongi's shoulder, holding him back from going through the front door.

Yoongi looked at him. He saw the struggle in his friend's eyes and stopped himself. He breathed in and out and looked down. And looked up again. Hesitatingly, he placed a smile on his lips and nodded.

"I will."

Then he was gone.

Knocking on Alejandro's door, he let his view wander.

The wood of his door was fake but it had a nice color. It was a calming white-grey, something modern, with maybe a glimpse of blue.

If Taehyung was here, he could say which colors were mixed in it to create that tone.

But Taehyung was an art genius, while Yoongi was not.

Alejandro opened the door in a hustle, granted Yoongi a quick smile before tying his hair into a little messy bun.

"Don't you think you're stressing this a bit too much? It's just a birthday right?", Yoongi said and closed the door behind him.
