Chapter 1 - Betrayed

Right at this moment we are in a mission. We need to get the target on the said deadline, and it's in three hours. We need to hurry. Di ko alam kung bakit ang tagal matapos ng misyong ito. Because in my calculation, it's been done two days ago.

I don't know why I feel like, we've been played by the enemy. Impossible there's a hole in my team. We've been together in 6 years now. We are family now, we are comrades, best friends. Iris, John, Axel, Matt and I are like brothers. The mission is to kill the biggest Drug Lord here in Russia, his name is Alexei Bogdan.

We were agent that connects to the PENTAGON and CIA. We are the best in this field. Pero putcha! Di ko alam kung anong nangyayari!

"Blue! Let's get out of here! It's a trap! Shit!" its Iris, tumakbo na agad ako. Hinanap ko ang iba ko pang kasama.

"Iris! Where are the three? Bakit di ko sila nakikita? Nag sisimula ng mag pa ulan ng bala ang kalaban!" sigaw ko dito. We are not a coward who will run if there's a gun shooting or a bomb everywhere!? But hell! It's a trap. Di kami makaka uwi nito kung ang tapang at galing namin ang pag babasihan. You need to use your head too!

"They run inside the building! You know them, they want also this mission to be done!" Iris shouted. He's on the other side.

"Fuck it! They don't know that we've been trap!" I shouted back. Nag aalala na ako. We need to move fast!

Nag paulan na naman ng bala at bomba ang kalaban. This is supposed a secret mission. Why the hell this is happening!?

"Iris! Go to the boat! Wait there, I'll go inside. Faster!" I shouted at him and run as fast as I could to the said fucking building. Iris shouted something on me, pero di ko na narinig.

Nasa loob na ako ngayon. Hinanap ko agad sila! May nakita akong marami na ring mga nakapasok na kalaban. Napamura na naman ako! Nakita kong may kausap si Axel. Lumapit ako ng kaunti, para makinig. They are talking Russian. I understand the launguage of course.

Ang di ko lang maintindihan kung bakit tinatawag nilang master sa salitang Russian si Axel. Naguluhan ako. Napatingin ako bigla sa sahig malapit sa kanila. I saw John & Matt lying on the cold floor. Lifeless. At pag tingin ko ulit kay Axel, naka tingin na siya saakin.

His cold eyes are saying none. Then he pointed his gun at me. Mabilis ko rin pinaputok sa kanya ang baril na hawak ko. Natamaan ko siya. But the Russian that's with him are shooting on me now!

Tumakbo na ako. I don't know! Di ko alam kung bakit ginawa ni Axel iyon. Pero isa lang ang alam ko, he betrayed us! His brothers!

Nakita ko agad si Iris. He's already on the boat waiting for us. But sadly, ako lang mag isa ang nakita niya. Nagtaka ako kung bakit tinutok din niya ang baril saakin. Pero nawala rin ito ng makita kong pinaputok niya ito sa may likuran ko. Tumakbo na ako ng mabilis, pasakay sa de motor na Bangka.

"Blue! Where the hell, our brothers?!" Tanong nito sa matigas na englis. May dugo din naman itong Pilipino at marunong magtagalog pero sanay na mag englis.

"Just start the fucking boat! And I will explain it to you later! Faster!" I shouted at him. Pinapaputukan ko ng bala ang mga humahabol saamin.

Nakalayo na kami. All I can see is the ocean. "Now start talking!" galit na sabi saakin ni Iris.

I sighed. " Axel betrayed us. Matt & John was dead." I said flatly.

"I am still relaxed. Explain further." He said in a heavy breathed. When he said he is relaxed, it means galit na galit ito.

"I heard him talking to the Russian assassins. And he pointed a gun on me. And I also saw near him, in the floor Matt & John lifeless."

"Fuck! Shit! I can't believe it!" he shouted at pinag susuntok ang bagay na makikita.

Nag mura ito ng nag mura. Hanggang tumulo nalang ang luha nito. I hugged him brotherly. Ako din naman nasasaktan. Sa tagal ng samahan naming lima, bakit ngayon pa?

Pagkadating namin sa lungsod ng Moscow ay sumakay na agad kami ng eroplano papuntang US. We need to report our failed mission. Iris was not in the mood to talk.

We are now in CIA office based here in Vegas. We told them the story, that we are trapped and we failed. They inform us to stay low for a while. They said they feel our lost. Di na namin sinabi ang pagtatraydor ni Axel sa samahan. Sinabi naming kasama siya sa namatay. Umalis na rin kami kaagad.

"Iris, what's the plan?" I asked him. Because I know where should I go this time. This lay low thingy is what I need.

"I will stay in New York for a while. I don't know if I will visit the Philippines, or after a month I ask the agency to give me a mission. I want to go back to Russia." He said. Alam kung gusto niya talaga balikan si Axel. He need confirmation and answers. At gusto niya daw bigyan ng magandang libing si Matt at John.

I talked to him about coming back to Russia. It's very dangerous. And about the burial of our two comrades. I have the guts that maybe Axel betrayed us but I know inside of me, hindi niya pababayaan ang katawan ng dalawang naging kapatid na ang turing, sa malamig na sahig sa gusaling iyon.

"Iris, I know what you feel. But there is a time for everything. We will seek the justice for Matt & John in time, okay?" sabi ko sabay tapik nito sa balikat.

"Blue, I don't know what to do." Sabay iling nito.

"But I'll be alright, don't worry 'bout me, I'm the youngest of us all, but I am not a baby. I make baby" He said smirking.

Sa wakas at nagsalita na nang maayos itong si Iris. Kasi kung di ito maayos. Di rin ako aalis. Sasamahan ko siya hanggang makaraos na sa nararamdam nito.

"Hey! Blue. Talk!" sabi nito sabay suntok ng mahina sa balikat ko.

"You sure, you'll be alright?"

"Sure as the earth revolving man!" sabay ngiti nito.

Napangiti na rin ako. "I'm going back to the Philippines, it's time. It's been 11years, I've been away." Imporma ko dito.

"Yeah. It's time. Well? Keep in touch brother! We will still seek the justice for Matt & John." Hyper na saad nito.

"Gotta go! The plane is waiting. Take care man!" I hugged him again. I will miss him surely and the rest of my brothers.
