"Heh.....yet again I was rejected....."

Tadano using all the strength he had at the moment squeezed his heart.

It was pounding very fast while he on his knees was about to cry.

"I know I'm not the most handsome guy but...."

He was feeling awful...the feeling of despair coated his heart.

Apparently his crush rejected him....That's a normal situation you would say however it was not normal for Tadano.

With his heart broken he was slowly walking towards the shrine.

The straight road with no people around what could be more relaxing place than this? No outside noises,No chattering people and No awful humans who discuss everything about you starting from your look and continuing with your attitude.

In simple words it was a paradise dedicated to calm himself.

Tadano nonchalantly was walking towards the altar.

He combined his hand as started to murmur 'I wanna find happiness' repeatedly,word after word.

He got a 500 yen coin as threw it in.

"Ouch!"

A sudden voice made Tadano to flinch from surprise.

"What was that!?" He exclaimed surprised.

"It was me....and I guess you weren't taught to not throw coins at someone..."

The tall old man with long white beard and white robe was standing right in front of Tadano.

He didn't knew how or from where did this old man got but one thing was clear.....

'He is strange!!!' Tadano exclaimed faintly. 'And he looks like Monk....'

It was strange to see an old man wearing a white robe...even tho it was a shrine Tadano knew that it was abandoned shrine so no one even stepped here.

"I'm not strange and I am not a Monk!"

"Oh sorry th-than.....wait...How did you understood that I thought of you as Monk???"

"I simply read your mind, Tadano-kun."

He knows my name....?

Tadano was surprised. He was sure that he met this old man just now but....he knows his name?

"A-Alright....who are you?"

"Is it really important,young lad?"

"Of course it is.... firstly I don't know you and second....Who are you???"

"Well.... let's just say...."

Suddenly the old man took off his robe as..... he was wearing a latex tight Masochistic costume.

"I'm a cupid of love~!"

A moment of silence. Tadano didn't even knew what to say....it was...well....

"I-I see....." Slowly turning away young lad was ready to run away but....

"Wait! Why are you running!?"

"Because you are strange!"

"Strange? Where!?"

Running away Tadano was worried for his life.... however old man caught him using his whip.

"Ah dear~... Youngins doesn't listen to elders even a bit." Adjusting his strange costume old man tried to calm Tadano.

"So....who are you?"

"As I said.... I'm cupid of love~! I came here in order to deliver you a message."

Tadano yet again cringed at old man....but nonetheless he decided to listen.

"A-And....what message is this?"

"I heard that you don't have a girlfriend.... pft...." Holding his laugher old man sneered.

'Now you are laughing at me!?'

"A-Ahem...So I heard you don't have a girlfriend Mister Tadano Hitohito. So I was sent here to deliver you a message that you will have a special gift from me."

"Gift? And how does it links with me not having a girlfriend....."

"Well....in this world every human being have a soulmate,the person for whom they will fall by first sight.... however you, Tadano....well,you are unlucky as you don't posses any soulmate."

Moment of silence.

Well Tadano was surely not popular....it was strange as he had good personality,normal looks and wasn't really kind of bad person....so what was the reason behind his unluckiness? He wondered.

"Wh-What do you mean by that?"

"Well....in simple....I forgot to give you a soulmate~." Winking like a little girl who forgot her lunch he exclaimed.

Yet another dead silence.....

"Oh....hahaha..." Tadano started to laugh....untill his laugher didn't transformed into maniacal scream. "So you are saying because of You I don't have a girlfriend!?"

"Heheh...well,Duh." Old man shrugged. "But worry not! In order to correct my mistake I'm giving you a gift! You will have 100 soulmates!"

Tadano yelped.

"....What?"

The sweat run through his forehead.

"100 soulmates!!!"

"Hahaha....good joke." Tadano shook his head..... really? 100 soulmates? And beside he still didn't believed that old guy.

"I see you are doubting me....well than...."

Old man jumped upwards as extended his hands. "Puri Puri Transformation~!"

His body was caught in bright lights old man's Masochistic outfit transformed into.....Well,a short skirt and a magical wand.

"What kind of crap is this!?" Tadano wanted to rip out his eyes.

"I'm cupid of love and so you shall meet your soulmates in your high school!"

With a movement of his wand old man exclaimed before disappearing.

Tadano was left yet again alone....well alone and shocked....
