Magic Academy

A couple of months had passed, and the quartet went their separate ways to attend to individual tasks. Shiiyo, eager for a new adventure, returned to the guild and perused the quest board in search of a suitable mission. However, to his dismay, all he found were common tasks that failed to pique his interest. Deciding to head out regardless, he was abruptly stopped by Lila, who seemed to have a request for him.

Spotting Shiiyo, Lila called out, "Oh, Shiiyo, great timing! Can I ask a favor of you?" Turning to face her, Shiiyo inquired, "What do you need?" Lila explained, "I need you to deliver something. Can you take these boxes of books to the City Mage's Guild? It's an academy for high scholars and mages." Intrigued, Shiiyo accepted the request, "A mage school, huh? Alright, count me in." Lila beamed with joy upon his acceptance, handing him a map and detailing the room where he needed to drop off the items. Without further ado, Shiiyo set out for the academy, unaware of the adventures that awaited him.

Arriving at the destination, Shiiyo found himself standing at the front gate of the academy, and couldn't help but marvel at the grandeur of the place. He raised an eyebrow and muttered to himself, "This... looks like a Hogwarts."

As he stood there with the boxes, students in mage robes began whispering among themselves, especially the women.

"Did you see that guy with the boxes? He's so tall and handsome!"

"Yeah, and did you check out his piercing gaze? It's like he's seen a hundred adventures!"

And that lean figure of his... He's like a hero from a novel! I wonder if he's a new student."

"Look at his manly aura! It's like he's not just delivering boxes; he's on a grand quest!"

As Shiiyo made his way through the academy courtyard, the female students continued their animated chatter, unable to contain their excitement.

"I hope he stays for a while. The academy just got a lot more interesting."

"I heard he's from the adventurers' guild. Can you imagine having someone like him as a classmate?"

"I bet he's a powerful mage on a secret mission. Maybe he'll even join one of our classes!"

Shiiyo, oblivious to the attention he was garnering, continued towards the designated room, the academy abuzz with speculation about the mysterious adventurer in their midst.

Shiiyo, feeling increasingly uneasy under the intense scrutiny, found himself surrounded by a group of girls who bombarded him with questions about his presence in the mage academy.

"Hey there! What brings a guy like you to our mage academy?"

Trying to offer a polite response, Shiiyo said, "Uh, I'm just here to deliver some boxes for Lila from the guild."

"Boxes? Boring! You must be here for something more exciting, right?"

Before Shiiyo could respond, the girls started chatting among themselves, seemingly more interested in their own speculations.

"Did you notice his eyes? They're like the color of a stormy sea!"

"And did you see how tall he is? I bet he's a warrior or something."

The girls continued bombarding Shiiyo with questions and comments, making it challenging for him to get a word in.

"Are you a new student? You'd stand out in our classes, that's for sure!"

Shiiyo, still holding the boxes, attempted to respond, "Actually, I'm not a student. I'm just—"

"Maybe he's a secret agent on a mission! That would explain the boxes."

The girls giggled among themselves, leaving Shiiyo with a bemused expression as they carried on with their lively discussion. The unexpected attention had turned into a whirlwind of speculation, and Shiiyo found himself caught in the midst of the animated chatter of the curious students.

As Shiiyo attempted to interject amidst the girls' lively chatter, he managed to squeeze out a hesitant, "Uhm... girls, can I—"

However, the girls continued their animated discussion, seemingly oblivious to Shiiyo's attempt to address them. The situation was becoming overwhelming for him. Just when he was wondering how to gracefully extricate himself from the whirlwind of speculation, a calming presence intervened.

A female mage, appearing to be one of the academy's teachers, stepped forward. She raised a hand, and the chattering girls quickly fell silent "That's quite sufficient, young ladies. It's time to redirect your focus to your studies. Let our guest enjoy some tranquility."

The girls, still giggling but now more subdued, bid farewell to Shiiyo before dispersing in different directions. The teacher turned to Shiiyo with a reassuring smile. "I extend my sincerest apologies for the commotion. Welcome to the esteemed halls of the City Mage's Guild Academy. We are genuinely pleased by your presence. May I inquire as to the purpose of your visit?"

Shiiyo, relieved by the sudden calm, explained, "I'm Shiiyo from the adventurers' guild. Lila asked me to deliver these boxes of books to the City Mage's Guild."

The teacher, nodding in understanding, already seemed to have a clue about the delivery. "Ah, the consignment from Lila. Please, accompany me, Sir Shiiyo. I shall guide you to the designated chamber where these boxes are destined. Your assistance is greatly appreciated."

Shiiyo, grateful for the teacher's intervention, followed her through the corridors of the mage academy, eager to complete his delivery and perhaps find a moment of peace amidst the magical surroundings.
