12 ARC ONE:CH-1.2

The man dressed himself in a set of black clothes. The women were gone from his chamber. He summoned his mighty sword before heading out. An army of soldiers ready to go to war stood in front of him. Among them there were many faces he knew. They were sworn friends, brothers and allies of Guang Wang Lei.

"Everybody ready?" He spoke, his voice alluding an authority that belonged to a king.

"Yes, leader Guang. We are all ready to lay down the history of a new beginning." Everybody shouted in union.

Guang Wang Lei gave them a glance before he took the position at the front.

"Kill them all. No one escapes. Also, the head of that bastard snake is mine. No one touches him." As he spoke his eyes slanted with an overwhelming murderous look.

When he hauled to the sky every man behind him followed.

Meanwhile on the other side, the person who had transmigrated into the body of the snake bastard caught the surprised gasp of the system.

"What is it?" He asked. The system was so shocked that it did not even hear his question.

"Well, you don't want me to complete main missions? If so forget it. I will do whatever I want." He grunted at the system's silence.

Nulis was immediately brought back to reality when it heard it's host speak these words.

"No. Host. I was just a bit shocked."

"What is the main mission that left you gasping like an idiot?" Ivar asked calmly.

I was not gasping like an idiot! "This...um...the main mission this time...I think there has been an error." Nulis paused. Then he continued.

"Well....this has never happened before. The main mission is to fulfill the original host's wishes. There must have been an error."

Nulis was flustered.

Ivar pondered over it for a moment. If the main mission is to fulfill the original's wishes then without a doubt the original Chu Gui's wish was to kill the protagonist and be the supreme ruler of the divine realm. This scum was a crazy snake thirsty for power and absolute reign.

But.

The protagonist cannot die.

Was there really an error? Ivar had a feeling that it wasn't an error from those gods part. They were not the type to make this kind of mistakes. Then what was the cause?

"Host. You must not harm the protagonist. Or this world will collapse. I will contact the higher ups once we leave this world and report this error to them."

Ivar heard the system say. He gave it a thought. "Fighting him is inevitable. This is the final showdown between the protagonist and the villain. And I am the villain right now." He said to the system. "But I won't hold back in this fight. The rules had already been made such that the main character will kill the final boss. However I won't go down without figthing."

As for the points.....

Ivar looked at the battle before him. The protagonist was not here yet with his main troops. The purpose of the army the Villain's side was figthing was to lure the antagonist and his entire troops out. Ivar clenched his fist. His hand was clad in red mana, an intense energy oozing out from his palm. He flicked his fingers. A red dragon made out of his mana energy appeared by his side, the gigantic length of the dragon dominating the expanse of the sky.

"Go." At Ivar's command the red dragon dashed towards the opponent army.

Roar. Boom. Boom.

Crackle.

Khuweek.....khuweek.

The dragon went rampage, firing flames of red mana at the soldiers. The red fire glowed with an intense heat, devouring those who were caught by it. People screamed as they scattered through the length of the sky. The person leading this army headed towards the dragon. He unsheathed the gigantic sword that hung on his back as he leaped towards the rampaging dragon. Aiming its blade towards the dragon's eyes he thrusted the long and shiny blade forward.

~Whoosssshh~

Before his blade could reach the dragon the dragon disappeared like a wisp of smoke.

This person steered his eyes towards the person who had summoned the dragon. The enemy of his dear friend. The villain who killed his friend's parents. Chu Gui. That was the name of this bastard who had summoned the dragon.

Ivar ignored the commander's gaze. He spoke to the system. "His wish includes defeating those who oppose him. How many points did we get with this one single attack?"

The system opened the rewards section. But when it's eyes fell on the screen once again it was utterly dumbfounded. "This...." Nulis scratched its invisble head with its invisible hand. Instead of getting confuse on its own the system decided to show the rewards directly to Ivar.

A screen appeared before Ivar's eyes. Only he could see it. When he looked at the total points he had accumulated his pupils couldn't help but fluctuate a bit.

+10000 points. Reward for completely annihilating the protagonist's soldiers. Satisfaction reward of the original host. + 2000 points.

Ivar was shocked but it did not show on his serene face. The fuck! He just attacked some minions and he earned this much? Then what was the lousy points he had collected in those thousands of previous worlds while painstackingly enduring every bit of those annoying ordeals? His eyes slanted dangerously.

"Fuck! Did those gods actually tampered with the amount of points I could accumulated by completing all my previous missions?" The fluctuation of his mood caused the temperature around him to drop.

This time the system did not say anything. Nulis did not believe the gods. The sole reason it was doing this was to retrieve its memories and find the person that was waiting for Nulis. But the system never thought that the gods would actually tamper with the points collection rules, manipulating the mission collections in such a way that what they were gaining was nothing more than dust when they could have earned so much by now. Even Nulis was a bit angry this time. So it did not try to argue with what Ivar had said in any way.

The commander was about to sprint towards his target but before he could take a few leaps forward his steps froze. He turned towards a certain direction. A smile appeared on his lips.

"So you are finally here. Took a lot of time." He said to his dear friend.

Guang Wang Lei gave him a glance before his eyes narrowed at his enemy. The man he must kill.

"Yeah. You can rest assure now Yang Lu."

Ivar stared down at the protagonist. His soul was trembling with anger. The anger of finding out yet another net laid down by those gods. If this error had never happened he would not have found out about it ever. Just thinking about this was enough to make him puke. He was angry. The anger was not directed at the protagonist of this world but becaus his fierce eyes landed on Guang Wang Lei, everybody present thought he was looking at the other with contempt and disgust.

All the chess pieces that would participate in this final battle was here by now.

The final battle between these two forces was ready to strike any time.

Guang Wang Lei kept his eyes glued on Chu Gui. He observed him from head to toe.

"Tsk." He clicked his tongue with disgust. His eyes were filled with killing intent, an obsessive desire to rampage the man before him and skin him alive erupted from the deepest part of his soul.

Ivar stared at the protagonist before him. A foreboding feeling of discomfort made his bones chill. Not speaking a word he took his own stance as he saw the main character get ready to attack him. A wisp of red and crimson shade mana draped his entire body, the rich energy projecting itself out of his body, like wisps of smoke mixing with the clear blue sky, tainting the blue canvas red with its colour.

If fighting him could help him increase points then so be it. Ivar thought.

Guang Wang Lei swore that he saw Chu Gui's eyes change to a deep crimson red colour just like the mana energy that was leaking from his body. The protagonist narrowed his eyes dangerously at Chu Gui.

When the two main characters moved they both collided against each other with a powerful force.

Crack. Krackle.

Two dominant magic energies wrestled against each other. The sky was filled with a dark crimson red mana on its left side. While the right side was shinning with a bright red magic energy particles.

This was the start of the final war. All those standing by the side went into action and the two forces that were destined to confront each other finally exchanged blades with their lives endangered on the line.

Hell had broken loose.

Ivar dodged the punch that came crashing at him. The momentum of the punch was so strong that the skin around his neck was impacted by the energy waves. A hole appeared on the side of his neck but he immediately healed it using his magic. A crimson red sword was summoned by him. He thrusted the sword towards his opponent, piercing it forward he directed an overwhelming amount of mana energy at its tips.

Guang Wang Lei raised his hand.

Kachup.

The sword that was aimed at him was caught between his index and middle finger. With ease. The tingling mana that came in contact with his fingers made his eyes fluctuate a little bit. Ivar gave him no room as he did a side turn. He pulled back the sword and switched it to his other hand. Then he attacked again. This time Guang Wang Lei summoned his own sword to pary away the blazing blade that came flying towards him.

Clang.

When the two swords met two forces equally strong repelled each other. The momentum of their attack shook the enitre battlefield.

Ivar's eyes widened noticing something unusual. Guang Wang Lei frowned as he initiated an attack first. Ivar did not give the strange intuition in his mind any room as he focused on the battle before him.

Every time their swords met the entire battle arena was affected by the momentum of their mana particles. The two swords entangled with each other, each strike they made created a long slashing cut that went through the clouds in the sky travelling upto a huge distance. When their blades were parrying with each other like fierce beasts lunging towards each other their palms collided, each time their two fists met the sound of breaking bones was heard. But the moment they broke they were healed in an instant by both the parties. Once healed several punches came crushing from both parties. Within a couple of minutes the protagonist and the villain had already exchanged a huge amount of attacks.

The more Guang Wang Lei entangled himself in the fight against Chu Gui the more he frowned. Ivar saw him launch a power-packed attack at him. He attacked with his full power, pointing iron against iron.

Crack. Crack.

Ivar felt the bones in his knuckles being crushed. He forcefully healed them as he kept pushing forward. But the next moment he felt a puch land on his abdomen. The crushing fist exerted a killing force onto his stomach and sent him flying back to a few meters. Ivar casted a wall made of mana energy to kill the momentum of the attack. But one wall was not enough. He felt his back crushing the mana wall. So he summoned more. One. Two. Three. Four. Five. It went on and on but the momentum of the attack did not die. It wasn't until the fiftieth mana wall that Ivar had summoned did the momentum of the punch was finally replled completely.

Ivar held his stomach as he felt an intense pain gripping sharply at his abdomen area.

Cough. Cough. Cough.

A mouthful of blood flowed out from his mouth. Ivar froze. Just now, the protagonist had used his time and space power to shorten the attack he wanted to do next. As expected the golden finger of the main character was not to be underestimated. But what made Ivar shock was the amount of strength that single punch had. He healed his wounds as he straightened his posture. Wiping the blood from the corner of his lips he looked at the son of fate of this world.

The moment Ivar looked into the other's eyes, he froze.

The man was also looking back at him with a deep gaze.

Thump. Thump.

Ivar's heartbeat accelerated. This was it. This was the force that caused the error in the system. The man before him was the unknown variable.

"Nulis, who is he?" Ivar asked the system. His voice calling for an urgent answer.

"...." The system was confused at his question.

Ivar clicked his tongue. "Are you blind? Do you not see that this protagonist before us is a bit different?"

Nulis was speechless. It scanned the body of the protagonist. "Host how is that possible? He is the protagonist. I just scanned him and there is nothing wrong with him."

"Fuck." Ivar cursed.

"He is not the original protagonist. Who is he?" Ivar was certain. Although the protagonist was supposed to be the strongest in this world he did not hold the strentgh that the current man standing before him had. The protagonist at most was able to use the time and space power but it was not with such a fast interval. In the orginal story line he had to at least wait for a couple of seconds in order to manipulate this heaven defying power and while doing so the protagonist had to be in a state of physical inactiveness. But the Guang Wang Lei before him used this power. Effortlessly. As if it was a piece of cake.

"...." The system was petrified. It witnessed the protagonist's fierce eyes change from green to golden.

Ivar was shocked as well.

Before Ivar or the system could register what just happened Guang Wang Lei appeared before Ivar. The vicinity was so close that their bodies almost brushed against each other.

Long and slender fingers crawled up on Ivar's neck, an iron like grip fell on the skin around his neck. The grip exerted so much force that Ivar frowned in discomfort. He directed the flow of mana in his body towards his neck but the moment he tried to do so Ivar's whole body froze.

His mana....it was sealed once again.

"Hm....." Guang Wang Lei stared into Ivar's eyes. The man was caught in his iron grip hands yet he did not even hear a sound of discomfort or hostile rebuking from the man.

"You...." He spoke looking into Ivar's eyes.

"Chu Gui was not this strong. Who are you to actually be able to take on my attack at its peak?"

When Ivar and the system heard this their eyes widened with shock.

"You....are not him. Who are you?" Guang Wang Lei demanded an answer as he gripped Ivar's neck with more force, the iron like grip tightened around the neck that was in his hand.
