43 Fighting Golden Core Thunder Wolves (First Part)

"It seems we need to deal with these mutts before we can chase her," said Snowy calmly.
"Give me a break! Let's finish this quickly, Snowy!" shouted Feng Xue as she took out her Star Shaterring Bow. "I'll handle the leader, and I'll give you the rest!"
Without looking back at Snowy, Feng Xue quickly approach the most enormous Thunder Wolf and shoot some of her arrows at the spirit beast, luring it to a different place. The Alpha felt annoyed by her attack and chased her in response.
Snowy left with the rest of the pack, hastily examined the spirit beasts' information.

Snowy didn't dare to be careless since she was facing more than 40 enemies at once. She immediately summoned her daggers. Her daggers showed up, trembling in excitement like a kid who got a new toy. She held them tightly and activated Yin Yang Shadow Step, vanishing instantly.
The wolf's pack alerted by her sudden disappearance and then frantically spreading their spiritual sense to locate her position. Some of them utilized their extraordinary nose to sniff out her presence. Despite their combined effort, they still couldn't find her track.
Their previously solid formation began to loosen up as they moved around, searching for Snowy.
"Blade Dance!"
Seeing a window of opportunity to strike, Snowy began her assault and dashed through the wolf's pack like a wind flowing through a canyon gap. Every step she took leaving behind a headless corpse.
Slash! Slash! Slash!
More and more Thunder Wolf fell without even knew how they died. The remaining wolves had only aware by the time 10 of their brethren lost their life.
"Groowll... rroowf... rrroooowwf!" the furious wolves glared at snowy hatefully. Their gaze was so fierce as if they were ready to tear Snowy's body apart, swallow her flesh and bones, and drink her blood!
"Aww-ooooohh!" With the Upper Golden Core Thunder Wolves' howl as a cue, all adults and several juvenile Thunder Wolves pounced on Snowy at lightning speed.
Buzz! Buzz!
Electricity was dancing around their bodies, ready to zap anything on their path. They indeed deserve to be called Thunder Wolf.
Snowy didn't panic, though. She calmly gathered her sword qi on the tip of her daggers. A massive amount of sword qi compressed in one point and then elongated.
It was so sharp that some unfortunates trees around Snowy were unintendedly cut down.
"Dieee!!" The sword Qi flew forward, countering the wolves' mighty assault. The whole forest turned eerily quiet as if they were afraid to be noticed by the attack and inevitably being sliced apart.
Poof!
Most of the wolves were instantly obliterated, leaving no trace behind. Even the Middle Golden Core Thunder Wolves were not spared.
The luckier wolves were blasted to the sideline and managed to survive the blow, but their bodies were severely wounded, and most of them lost some of their limbs.
After the attack, only the two Upper Golden Core Thunder Wolves and half of the weakest wolves had remained.
"nnn...nnn...nnn" the remaining wolves whimpered, watching their packs brutally massacred.
The two stronger wolves' instincts screamed at them to quickly flee. They could easily slaughter most of the Golden Core cultivators with their strength, yet the human in front of them strike fear deep inside their hearts.
However, being a leader of a pack, they couldn't afford to abandon their brethren behind. Their only hope now was their alpha to emerge in victory from its battle and saved them.
Unfortunately, The wolves' wish won't come true. Their alpha's condition was even worse than theirs.
Although its cultivation was way higher than Feng Xue, Feng Xue's Divine Beast bloodline strongly suppressed the Alpha. It was akin to an ant trying to fight a dragon.
The result was easy to predict. The alpha was a fish on the chopping board from the beginning. The once ferocious beast turned into a beaten dog in front of Feng Xue.
Indeed, Feng Xue was definitely a bane for all of the spirit beasts in the Mortal Plane!
"I'll let you off if you surrender to me now!" said Snowy to the remaining wolves with a deep and commanding voice.
The two adult wolves, who were still not aware of their Alpha's pitiful state, were unhappy by Snowy's threat. Even though they were slightly frightened by Snowy's prowess, they won't submit without a fight as a being at the top of Blackwood Forest's food chain.
"Groowll..." They didn't back down and prepared to fight.
"Commendable bravery. But remember this, at the time you attack me, I won't show you any mercy," said Snowy coldly.
The wolves looked at each other and nod in agreement. They had made their choice!
Swoosh. Swoosh.
In a blink of an eye, they had already appeared beside Snowy. Their jaw opened wide ready to crunch Snowy's body.
"You think it will work? Taste this! Blade Dance!"
Snowy bent her body backward dodging the wolves' onslaught and then she spun her body around slashing the wolves' body like a rotating blade. Since they were already in the air, they got no time to avoid the upcoming counter-attack and helplessly been cut into pieces.
They died with their eyes still open filled with regret and unwillingness.
Just like that two Upper Golden Core Spirit Beasts perished in Snowy's hand.
