Snowy and Feng Xue exchanged glances with each other, dumbfounded by the unbelievable sight in front of them.

"What now? Are you stunned by my cuteness? Well, you're not the first," said the bunny while shaking its puffy tail.

"Are we dreaming?" said Feng Xue to Snowy. She couldn't make sense of animals who can speak human language.

Although it was rare, some spirit beasts had gained the ability to speak even before transformed into their human form.

But, nobody ever heard of any ordinary animal who did it. And the bunny in front of her was definitely an ordinary animal. She could sense that no shred of qi emitted from its body.

Snowy furrowed her brow and shook her head, "I don't think so. And, it's not an illusion or disguise either. It's really a talking bunny."

"Of course! I'm Rong Hua, the one and only talking bunny in myriad world!" declared the bunny proudly, puffing its nonexistence chest.

The bunny's ear twitched when she saw no response came from both of them. The bunny looked at them with narrowed eyes," Why don't you clap? This is where are you should be clapping! Okay, I'll give you one more chance!"

"Oh-oh!" The bunny coughed lightly to clear her throat and then resumed her previous pose.

"I'm Rong Hua, the one and only talking bunny in the myriad world!!" the bunny said with a louder voice and puffed its chest even more exaggeratedly. And then it glanced at Snowy and Feng Xue with an expecting gaze.

Clap. Clap. Clap.

Snowy and Feng Xue clapped half-heartedly with a straight face.

"Yes! That's the right attitude when you are in the presence of this lady! Hohohoho!" Rong Hua said with a burst of fake laughter while one of her hands rest on her waist and the other one covering her mouth.

Feng Xue twitched her eyebrow while unconsciously rubbed her fist. She didn't know why but the rabbit's attitude somehow rubbed her the wrong way.

While Feng Xue was feeling irritated by the bunny, Snowy took a chance to examine its information.

Triggered by the bunny's reaction, Feng Xue sent a bone-chilling gaze to Snowy.

"What's wrong?" Snowy asked Feng Xue with a puzzled look.

"Hmph." Feng Xue, only harrumphing, didn't answer her question.

"Look, it looks like someone burns with jealousy here! What a silly girl jealous of a little rabbit" sneered Rong Hua mockingly.

"J-jealous, you say... W-who is jealous?! I'm not jealous!"

"You. Obviously. Are. Jelly~."

"No, I'm not!"

"Jelly~ Jelly~ Jelly~~."

"Little rabbit, you're going too far..!!"

Feng Xue chased the bunny to give her a piece of her mind. The bunny didn't wait and quickly ran away. Anyone who saw them would think they were childhood friends who play a game of chase. But if they looked at them carefully, they'll be astounded.

"Can you give it to us? We need it for saving a life," answered Snowy.

"Hmm, why are you asking permission from me? I'm just a powerless little rabbit~," said Rong Hua playing innocent.

"If the rumor is true, you certainly can pass the spatial displacement easily or maybe you're the one who owns the Nine-Petal lotuses placed inside the barrier," Snowy didn't buy her pretense and counter her.

Listening to Snowy's reply, Rong Hua's curiosity was piqued. 'So, there's someone who knows about spatial displacement in the Eastern Region, huh. How curious,' she thought.

"You're joking. I'm just an ordinary rabbit, you see~" replied Rong Hua still didn't drop her act.

"No ordinary rabbit can easily run away from Xue," said Snowy unhurriedly and continue, "She has a special bloodline, and when it comes to speed, no one could beat her. The only possibility is you use a spatial technique to shake her off."

"Fine, you win~." Rong Hua finally relented, but she suddenly spoke as a sly smile appear on her furry face, "Even if your guess is true, why should I give the Nine-Petal Lotus to you? You might not know this, but this lotus was extremely rare in the Eastern Region."

"I'll give you anything you want!" Feng Xue quickly jumped in, trying to tempt her.

"You can't give me what I want," said Rong Hua. Her previous smile disappeared changed into a sad smile.

Even though she is a rabbit, her expression was so vivid that Feng Xue can easily guess her emotion. She didn't know what happened to her that she could make that kind of expression. And, Feng Xue also realized that Rong Hua was speaking the truth. Whatever the thing she wanted, Feng Xue couldn't give it to her.

Feng Xue felt very frustrated. This opportunity was the only lead to get the Nine-Petal Lotus.

'What to do, what to do.' Feng Xue pondered and pondered but couldn't come with a solution.

"Lazy old fogey?" Snowy didn't know who she was talking about.

"What do you mean?" Feng Xue impatiently asked her.

"Ah-wooo..." But before she got an answer, a howling voice resounded nearby. Snowy and Feng Xue were alarmed by the howl.

"Oops, it looks like my time is up. Our guest is already here. I hope we can meet again. Good luck~!" said Rong Hua, and then she disappeared into the bushes.

"Hey, we're not done yet! Wait, you little rabbit!" yelled Feng Xue in the direction where Rong Hua's figure vanished. She wanted to chase her, but suddenly she stopped as she was aware that she was surrounded by enemies.

"Growl...!!" More than 40 spirit beasts suddenly ambushed Snowy and Feng Xue.

"It seems we need to deal with these mutts before we can chase her," said Snowy calmly.
