Guns And Lilies

Rin called Haru because she found a purple substance contained in a glass bottle.There was a wooden plug on top of it and a symbol of heart engraved on the glass.

Rin found it under the corpse of a zombie.

Even if it was a low grade health elixir to Haru it was a life saver.He can use it if Rin get wounded.He wasn't planning to use it on himself even if it means he is going to die.He just needs to protect Rin.

Haru putted it in his inventory not Rin's because he knew that if she had it she won't use it on herself.

Haru told Rin to prepare and he went outside before Rin.He was planning to go a grocery store and loot some food.

He found six zombies infront of the gun store.They must heard the sounds Haru made when kicking the door.He get on his battle stance and equipped one of the handguns on his right hand and knife on his left hand.

He aimed and pulled the trigger.With a loud bang bullet left the muzzle and went straight towards to heavens.He was dumbfounded, using a gun was extremely hard and keeping your aim still is nearly impossible.

*BANG* *BANG* *BANG*

Three gunshots echoed in the street.First bullet missed second one went through one of the zombies leg and pierced through.Last bullet was a succes and it went through a zombies head leaving behind a hole.

The zombie which took a bullet on the head fell down to ground with a loud thud.Other one whose leg has pierced by a bullet was falling behind of the remaining four zombies.

Haru put the gun under his jeans but it was really hot because of the shooting so he regretted his decision.He fastly leave the handgun on the ground and run straight towards the coming zombies.

He slashed the first zombie on his way and with the speed he was going he felt like cutting through butter.He killed it easily.

Three of the remaining zombies didn't stop rushing to Haru but the fourth one who has a pierced leg suddenly halted.Haru didn't minded it and rushed to the zombie on his right.He jumped at least two meters and fell on top of the zombies head with his knife.

He pierced the zombie's brain and landed on top of it in order to soften his fall.It died straight away and leaved a painful grunt behind.

*ROAR*

One of the last two zombies -without the one who has stopped- suddenly roared and runned to Haru.Zombie pushed Haru with it's momentum and weight.Haru dragged along the asphalt round for a meter and his legs started to bleed.He was surprised because he was fighting with the mindset of 'Zombies can't run.' Oh how wrong he was.

Now because of underestimating his enemy he was in a bad situation.Haru tried to get up but his head was dizzy.Two of the zombies mounted him and tried to bite his shoulder.

Haru was cornered but suddenly he remembered something. Right Hand and Eye Of The Shadow Demon.

He used the skill, it was like switching an on-off button.His hand and eye suddenly felt like electrocuting.Bones on his right hand changed their shape and structure while his right eye veins bulged.His bloodshot eye was now burning.

His eyewhite became pitch black like the void and his pupil distorted.Once a healthy looking red eye was now pitch black and orange.His pupil was vertical now like a reptile with a deep orange colour.Craks formed under his right eye but he wasn't bleeding.

It didn't stop there and his right hand structure changed sharply.Extraordinary bones pushed themselves out from his skin and red blood flowed nonstop.His nails grow larger and changed their colour to dark purple.

Skin formed on the extra bones and his hand grow larger with rock hard firm muscles.Black hexagonal scales covered his hand.Green substance dripped from his nail to the road and his hand finished transforming.

Now he was looking like a monster but he had to become a monster in order to fight with monsters.Just he was worried about Rin's reaction after seeing him like an abomination.He was scared that she would run away or scream because of the fear.

His transformation was fast like a lightning but to Haru time had stopped.He felt everything, it was a mindbreaking experience full of pain.

Haru put himself together and swinged his right hand to the first zombie trying to bite him.He didn't felt any resistance and zombie's head cut off to four parts.Other zombie didn't care about it because it was focusing on his dinner.Haru stabbed the last zombie from the abdomen with his right hand.

His hand pierced through and he lift the zombie above him.He get up and throw the zombie away to a wall.He didn't saw at that time the halted zombie was swelling up like a frog.

Haru runned to the zombie he threw and decapitated it in a swift motion.His sixth sense told him to dodge but he didn't understand it.A big fireball was coming towards him in a full speed.The halted zombie has vomited a fireball to Haru and with the surprise factor it succesfully landed a hit.

Fireball came into contact with Haru's back and it exploded like a mini volcano.Haru flied away with the power of the impact and his back was burned like a charcoal.

He couldn't understand what was going on untill he flied away.Then he realized one of the zombies was missing.Last zombie throwed him a fireball he was lucky enough to keep living but only god knows how much did that hurt.

Haru lifted his head with the last amount of power and saw that the zombie was preparing for a second fireball.Zombie's belly expanded and vomited the second fireball.

When he saw it he gave up on his life and apologised to Rin on his mind.He waited for the fireball to land but even seconds later it didn't came.
