However, that wasn't the main point. Levels are almost irrelevant in the short-term, after all, he would still die by bullets even if he's LV30. What he did gain is his advancement in [Aspect of the Leopard] through a quest he received from a scholar. In exchange for a few wolf fur, the scholar was willing to explain to him how the leopard operated and with it, the special posture given by the book made sense.
