System Error
In a dusty house within the city of Magnolia slept a young man on an old bed, he had blonde hair and was average-looking, he appeared to be 20 years old with a fit body.
The eyes of the young man opened, they were a deep green color, he stared at the ceiling of the house. With his eyes open, he appeared handsome, especially his eyes, they were very unique.
He sat up and checked everything around the bed, the room was simple, and not too many items were present. He frowned.
"Where am I?" He asked nobody in particular.
He stood up and checked his body, his frown deepened, "This is very strange..."
He quickly found a mirror beside the bed and checked his reflection, his eyes widened a little, "This can't be..."
He seemed to think of something and stood up, without further ado, he opened the window in the room and looked at the outside.
He saw a street that he had never seen before, it did not look like a street belonging to the city he was from.
He gulped and quickly left the room and ran out of the house and stood in the middle of the street, he looked at the unfamiliar people with a nervous gaze.
He reached the end of the street and found himself beside a river that flowed from somewhere unknown to the sea, it passed the middle of the city it seemed.
This looked strangely familiar to his eyes but he couldn't quite put his hands on it, he winced a little as he took a step towards the river, he just realized he was barefoot...
Just then someone spoke to him, "Are you okay?"
He strangely understood the language of the person, he looked at the source of the voice and saw a blonde girl with brown eyes looking at him with concern.
He was surprised by her beauty but didn't show it, the words came out of his mouth on their own, "Where am I?" He spoke the strange language perfectly.
The girl raised her eyebrows, "I see... Well you are in Magnolia. I suggest you drink less next time..." She gave him a piece of advice as she sighed and walked away while muttering something along the lines of troublesome drinkers.
The young man wanted to ask more but froze when his eyes saw the mark on the girl's hand, it was a pink tattoo and its shape made him shocked.
'Was that a Fairy Tail mark?!!' He thought and quickly chased after her, "Hey, are you by chance a mage of Fairy Tail?" He asked and carefully listened to her answer.
He expected, no, rather, he hoped to hear her say anything but what she actually said, "Yeah! I am." She proudly proclaimed.
He looked at her more carefully and recognition flashed in his eyes, "Are you by chance... Lucy Heartfillia?"
The girl was surprised, "You recognize me? Does that mean I am getting famous as a wizard?!"
He ignored her and began walking back to the house, a thousand thoughts going through his head. He had just encountered the most absurd thing in his life, to think that he would actually find himself in a fictional world like the stories he used to read...
"Hey!" Lucy was not happy being ignored but the other party didn't look back and walked away. She shrugged her shoulders and resumed walking toward the guildhall, "What a weirdo..."
The moment the young man entered the house, he closed the door and climbed to the 2nd floor that he had come from, he entered the bedroom and laid down.
"This can't be happening..." He murmured as he sighed. Even the way he spoke to himself was in the language of this world, it seemed whatever had brought him here had helped him in that regard.
Suddenly, the young man said to the air, "System?"
A screen that only he could see appeared in front of him, he looked at it with excitement.

It was a very simple interface, he inspected it a few times before he was satisfied, "At least I have this... Its best I learn how to use it."
He pressed the '+' bottom on Magic a few times till it was '+10' then he pressed apply.
[Insufficent Points]
He wanted to get familiar with all the functions so he tried again.
When he added '+' to magic this time, the moment the value reached '1' a '-' bottom also appeared naturally so he pressed on it. The value returned to '0' but the '-' didn't vanish.
He clicked on it several times with raised eyebrows, 'Can I change my stats as I wish in the future?' He wondered. The value turned to '-17' and he gulped as he pressed apply to see what would happen.
[SYSTEM ERROR]
The interface went crazy, all sorts of numbers appeared as words flashed, Hansel's heart nearly stopped in panic.
"Fuck!"
[Error! Error! Set Value to 0? Error! Set Value to 1? Error! Set Value to 2? Error! ...]
It went on and on, he felt weird warm sensations flash in his body and mind but he ignored them, nervously looking at the screen, he was deeply regretting what he did. His heart was beating so fast, it seemed to jump out of his chest.
[Point Function Removed... Error! Level Function Removed... Error!]
He nearly cried in despair, "NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!"
[Magic Value Set to Infinity... Error Fixed.]
[System Reboot.]
The last two sentences made him nearly jump out of the bed, "Infinity?! What the..."
The screen appeared again as Hansel suddenly turned numb. All his senses stopped working for a moment as something akin to a supernova went off in his mind, stunning him so much that he stopped thinking altogether.
He stayed like that for a few moments, his mind blank, around him space collapsed completely and a black crack appeared where he previously was, seemingly having devoured him.
The crack closed itself as it split out Hansel, he fell on the bed, his eyes still blank.
His mind was a mess, he saw countless stars be born and explode then be born again and again for eternity but it was also just a few breaths of time, everything was beyond his comprehension.
All the stars suddenly merged together to form an infinitely large black hole in his mind, it felt like a foreign entity to him yet part of him.
He came back to his senses, "System!"
The screen appeared again but there were changes...
