chapter nineteen

Jasmyn was shocked to see Teddy, is she hallucinating or what, how comes teddy is here.

She felt so weak and pained from the whole scenario.

Is that really the woman that gave birth to her? Is that really her mother. Her cheeks were stinging in pain.

"Hey you OK?"

Jasmyn pulled her self away from him, and slowly cleaned her tears.

"Yeah sure am fine. What are you doing here" she asked

"Is this your house?"

Jasmyn was confused by his question so she slowly Shook her head,

"No it's not". She answered.

"Then why are you asking what am doing here?"

Jasmyn just starred at him, she looks really sad and lonely he felt like hugging her till she feels OK. Psttt what silly thought, why would he hug jasmyn of all people, he rather hug his pillow instead.

Judith who saw Teddy walk to him with lights in her eyes, though she looks sad and not her usual bright self,

She still smiled at him.

"Hi teddy am a very good fan of yours can I get your autograph" she asked handing him a marker.

Teddy collected the marker and signed on the back of her shirt.

Teddy is a public figure, with fans any where he goes.

So he always put on dark shades. Judith wouldn't have recognized him if jasmyn hadn't called his name. Judith wondered how jasmyn even recognized him with the shades on his eyes. Maybe because they are classmates, thought judith with a smile, his signature is just so beautiful and eye-catching.

After Teddy signed on judith shirt, he turned but couldn't find jasmyn, his eyes caught her sitting on a chair in the mall, no sound was coming from her, but her shoulders move up and down, showing she's crying.

Judith immediately felt guilty, she forgot about her pained sister and was busy with Teddy.

Judith doesn't have much attachment with her mom, she doesn't have those deep feelings one would feel towards his or her mother, because she was just three when Iris left.

But for jasmyn, she has a strong feeling for Iris, Iris left when jasmyn was seven years, and within those seven years, Iris was a good loving mother to her, showering her with motherly love and affection. But in just a couple of weeks it faded away, jasmyn was little then and was confused why her mother who had loved her from birth started hating her. Iris attitude completely changed when judith was three years old, she doesn't care about Jason or her two daughters. Then, Jason was just a manager, working in a well known company. He receives good pay which could sustain the family of four.

And Jason loved Iris like his life but one day she threw a divorce paper at his face, Jason was confused. Did he do any thing wrong?.

Because of the love he has for Iris he couldn't sign the divorce papers for a month.

Later on he couldn't keep up with Iris shrew attitude so he finally signed it.

Jasmyn's small voice was choked with tears and she'll always ask, "papa, did mommy left cause am a bad girl?, please tell her to come back, I promise to be a good girl, I won't disturb her again, please I want my mommy back"

Jasmyn suffered a serious trauma back then. And she even has to be treated by a pyscologist.

Ten years later, Jason is now one of the richest billionaire in Europe. He raised both his daughters well, and loves them so dearly, they are his treasures.

So judith could actually understand jasmyn's pain right now.

Teddy's heart soften when he saw jasmyn in that state so went and sat next to her.

That was when judith noticed a small figure was hiding behind teddy all this while, the little boy was timid and his head was down, he followed teddy and sat closely beside him, hiding his face from every one.

Judith found the boys action very cute. The boy should be around 5 years old.

Teddy was at lost on how he should comfort her. He has many ideas in his head, But he wouldn't want his action to give her the wrong idea.

He finally gave in a pulled her into an embrace.

His hands wrapped around her petite figure perfectly. She felt really soft, more than a pillow. Then he remembered saying he'll rather hug a pillow than hug her. Right now he has taken back his words, he rather hug her than to hug a pillow

"Alright now stop crying, you look hideous when crying, just like a frog"

Right after saying that, he felt a mighty pinch on his stomach.

"Oucch" he yelp.

"And you look like a crocodile." She said and pushed him away, she stood up angrily and left. While Teddy chuckled.

"You made her angry" came Carl's small voice.

Teddy glared hard at him, "and why are you acting all shy and timid, who are you trying to fool"

"I wasn't acting, I was just shy and couldn't face her"

Teddy raised his brow at his brother.

"Who's the she you're referring to?

Carl blushed, which took Teddy by surprise.

"Her"

Said Carl pointing at judith who was at the counter.

"Why can't you face her?"

"I think I like her, and I want her to be my girlfriend, and I don't know how to ask her out yet, so i couldn't face her"

Teddy: "....."

Teddy stared at his four year old brother in shock.

Jason was fuming in anger, rage was radiating from his body. His assistant, Marcus, was scarred to stand close to him.

When Jason saw jasmyn's face, he was so angry, who Dare lay hands on his princess,his Angel, that person sure doesn't know who he or she has offended.

He was more enraged to find out that it was Iris his ex wife, that bitch was the one who hit jasmyn, his own daughter for Christ sake, and for no good reason, she hit his daughter.

The way Jason loves his daughters, no matter what they do, he won't allow any one to lay a finger in them.

But Iris, that bitch, hasn't she hurt him enough, and now she has the audacity to hit his daughter.?

Jason turned and walked to his daughter who was sitting with judith by her side.

He examined how red and swollen jasmyn's face is, this is the first time someone was hitting jasmyn, even he himself has never layed a finger on his daughters, he just give them punishment when they are in the wrong.

"It's enough jasmyn, stop crying"

He cooed pulling her into a hug.

"Dad that ex wife of yours has really Cross the line this time". Said judith angrily.

"Don't worry baby, I'll make Iris pay for ever laying her hands on you"

Said Jason with his eyes full of murderous intent.
