35 V.2 Chapter 7
"I don't know the exact details about what is happening, but before I came, I saw Uzumaki Han and the two elders along with Danzo-Sama enter the Hokage's office," Tatsuya said. (A/N: Han is Kiyome's grandfather. Tatsuya was mentioned in chapter 17.)
"What have those old people got to do with me?" Yukan said as he felt troubled.
He did not want to get involved with shit like Danzo and idiots like the two elders.
Yukan looked down at the ground, yawned, looked up and started to walk towards the Hokage's office.
He soon reached the office, and when he reached, he saw Danzo and the two elders exit the office.
Yukan entered the Hokage's office and saw Hiruzen sitting on his seat and smoking. Other than Hiruzen and himself, Sakumo, Han and Jiraiya stood in the office.
"What happened here?" Yukan asked as he felt the tension in the atmosphere.
Sakumo came near him and started to speak," So, 10 minutes earlier…
-10 minutes earlier-
"Everyone, I would like you to meet Uzumaki Han, a survivor of the Uzumaki clan." Hiruzen introduced Han to the other three Konoha high levels.
Danzo had known about the grandfather-granddaughter duo ever since they came to Konoha but he still acted as if it was his first time hearing about it.
"What?? Hiruzen, you know that it is very dangerous for Konoha, so why would you do this?" Danzo yelled as if disrespecting Hiruzen.
Hiruzen said as he puffed up smoke," He has been here for pretty long, so it is safe. Anyways, what we are together for, is something more important. I think it would be good for us to make the Uzumaki clan a part of Konoha."
Danzo heard this and found an opportunity to make some weird conditions.
"That is fine. As long as the Uzumaki clan's members also join the ROOT, I have no problem."
Hiruzen squinted his eyes and said," I believe you have a sufficient number of people in the ROOT, you would not need Uzumaki clan's members. Anyways, they are already very small in number."
"No, I constantly need talents. Moreover, with the Uzumaki clan's physique, I will be able to train a killing machine." Danzo said as a psychopathic smile appeared on his face.
Danzo had gotten too obsessed with recruiting talents and becoming stronger that he had lost quite a lot of reasonability.
Hiruzen looked at Danzo with a disappointed look and then said," Danzo, I will tell you for the last time, you will not take anyone from the Uzumaki clan."
Danzo stood up from the seat he was sitting on and angrily left the office.
Hiruzen looked at Koharu and Homura who had been silent the whole time. He asked them," What do you two say?"
"You are wrong this time, it will not yield good results. We may become the target of other villages." Homura got up from his seat and followed Danzo.
Koharu also got up and then ran behind Homura.
-Back to Present-
"...and so, this situation." Sakumo ended his explanation to Yukan.
'As expected.' Yukan sighed and then stood beside Sakumo after greeting Hiruzen.
In the pin drop silence, Han spoke," Now that they are gone, I can speak freely. I believe everyone here is trustworthy?"
"Yes," Hiruzen answered Han's question.
"We in the Uzumaki clan had always been ready for such a situation as we are in the present. For, right now, our main objective is to bring all the stranded Uzumaki survivors back to Konoha and remake the clan." Han said.
Everyone in the room, including Yukan, now looked at Han with curious eyes.
This was something no one in the room had ever heard about.
Han took out a scroll and said," This is a scroll which was made a few hundred years ago by a former clan head. When injected with chakra, it will show a small dot in the direction of a person with Uzumaki blood. Like…"
Han walked to the Hokage's table and put the scroll there. The other three, Sakumo, Yukan and Jiraiya also stepped forward.
Hiruzen touched the scroll and poured some of his chakra into it.
When he poured, a small dot appeared right in between and another a little far away. (A/N: It is like a radar.)
"The middle one is me and the other one must be Kiyome. This is a very very precious kind of scroll and there are only 6 of them... Ah, I almost forgot, they have a range of 5 km." Han finished talking about the scroll and stepped a little backwards, allowing everyone to see the scroll.
Yukan was perplexed but it was still within the manageable range.
Hiruzen nodded a few times and then spoke," So, I can give these to some of my trusted men whenever they go out of Konoha on a mission?"
Han nodded while he had a happy smile on his face, indicating that Hiruzen made the right guess.
"Hmm, Jiraiya, you take one of these scrolls from Han before leaving for your mission in a few days," Hiruzen instructed Jiraiya.
"Yes, teacher." Jiraiya obeyed.
Soon, Hiruzen ordered everyone to leave the office.
When they left the office, all the four went in different directions.
Seeing the sky almost dark, Yukan hurried back home.
When he reached the house, he was surprised to not see his mom at the door.
He still went to his room and changed his sweaty and smelly clothes and then went to the kitchen.
When he entered the kitchen, he saw his mother sitting in the chair and her head down on the table. She was sleeping after doing a lot of work.
"Well, housework isn't easy either," Yukan said as he then noticed his food right in front of where he sat.
He walked to his mother and woke her up.
"Mom, wake up. I am home, go and sleep in your room comfortably." Yukan said as he shook his mother's shoulder.
Aayu woke up and looked at Yukan with her eyes almost closed.
"Cutie Pie?"
"Yup mom. Now, go to your room. Come, I'll help you." Yukan said. He held one of Aayu's hands and helped her walk while half-asleep.
After he helped his mother into her room, Yukan went back to the dining table and started eating his food.
As he was eating, he saw a strand of white hair right where Aayu's head was.
"White hair? Is mom having white hair now?? She is getting old, huh?"
